Well...this was my first field...first time ever physically paint balling.....and it was the most fun I have had in a long time!!! Everything was awesome, the guns worked great, no problems with the paint, goggles were okay...fogged up sometimes and had some trouble keeping them from sliding off my face occasionally. But here is a more formal review...
Pros: -Great equipment, no problems and refs on hand in case there were.
-Facility was nice, training was helpful. Refs were good, strict and kept it safe. Once you were eliminated, they got you right back out into the action. Nice setup, lots of places to hide and sneak up on others. Loud...but thats how a real battle would be.
-Games were really fun, lots of action and fun. Didn't have to be the best to have fun. Like I said...it was the most fun I'd had in a long time, maybe ever! I am definitely hooked now thanks to this place.
Cons: -Floor was slippery...but thats a given in indoor places.
-Kinda dark...it was hard to distinguish the teams.
-Goggles fogged up sometimes and would fall off my face from being wet...buts thats just those goggles.
-Price was kinda high...but the quality was good so almost worth it lol. The outside place is cheaper so I'll try that this weekend. Plus I heard outside places are more fun.
Overall: Awesome place...I definitely got an excellent first impression on paintball from this place. A few little problems, but they didn't hurt the overall experience that much. I have no regrets money wise, although it'd be nice if the prices dropped a little. The idea of modeling it like an abandoned city worked well, full of excellent places to shoot from. Also plenty of cover. Great firefights set up there. You're sure to stay in the action, but vending machines and whatnot if you need a break. And it is action, start to finish, they move things along nicely. Overall, this place was great and I'll definitely back. I recommend it to any first time players, it'll get you hooked!!!
lol amen to that!...no offence but this field really blows...i go there pretty oftin and the refs suck...field sucsk even worse....and worst of all my mom fell down the stairs just trying to get there casue those sobs are slippery and they have no lights in the stairwell.
