What do you get when you get a sloping, rocky field under some massive power lines and throw some old furniture on it? You get savage paintball! Seriously, the speedball field slopes at a 45 degree angle, and is incredibly rocky. Their bunkers consist of a couple of old, rotting couches, and some makeshift plywood bunkers half falling apart with nails sticking out of them. There are no refs, so trying to start up a game is a pain, and no one is required to chrono their gun. At one point I got bunkered from 3 feet away by some kid shooting upwards to 400fps. The one good point is the price; only five bucks for all day air, but you only get that if you buy paint from them. Paint is 45 a case, which didn't seem bad, till I opened up a case. It was ancient and discolored; half of the balls were black shelled, the rest a poop brown. Go there only if you need a cheap paintball fix, or you enjoy pain and unsafe playing conditions.
They just got air bunkers and the field is great now. The 45 degree slope is a good thing. Water doesn't pool up on the field. They are sell cases of SPANK and Diablo Blaze for 40 bucks each ($15 a bag) I don't know what your talking about no crono and no refs. They enforce both now. The couches are one bad thing thogh, but they got rid of those to. And the powerlines. Savage was there before the Power lines. They had a huge wooded area with a clearing in the middle. Now they have 1 huge clearing and some woods. They have a realy nice setup now. go and try Savage again.
