Played at Close Encounters last weekend. Even though it was 100 degrees it was still a blast. Plenty of shade, very friendly staff, decent field paint (though VERY expensive $10=100; $25=500; $40=1,000; $80=2000). The park is on a hillside and it's a little bit of a hike between fields, but it's really no big deal. A couple of clarifications from the other reviews: You CAN bring your own paint, they just don't want you to use it in their rental markers. I didn't see any favoritism towards rental customers in regards to gun hits or reincarnation.
