Review: Riverside Renegades offers an aggressive outdoor "field" that will challenge your paintball skills (and stamina). The terrain is full of natural obstacles (fallen trees, streams and steep hills) and several man-made "forts" and bridges provide a chance to create interesting tactical situations.

Their staff is great -- always eager to help newbies. I've even seen them perform repairs on non-field equipment (i.e. your personal marker) without charge.

The field equipment is pretty good...semi-autos (some electronic) and most of the masks have thermal lenses. The field paint is usually RPS Big Ball (not crap) and is priced <<cheap>> compared to other local fields.

The resident club "the Riverside Renegades" is a great bunch of PB veterans. As a newbie, I think it was important to have someone (of considerable experience) help me out. Even if it's your first time out there...you won't feel like an outsider.

Sundays are usually "walk-on" days...meaning that no reservation is required. Call ahead and you can get an idea of how many players are coming out. On this field, you can have a blast even if it's 4 on 4.

If you're tired of running around spray-painted warehouses and you're ready to challenge your skills -- this place is for you!
