Review: I have played at this field a couple of times, and I have yet to be disappointed. The owner seems to be very nice and helpful. My buddies shocker wasn't working and his mask was cracked so the owner took him to his pro shop (about a mile away) and gave him a great deal on some ir3's and a HE bolt which fixed the shocker. I also forgot batteries and the owner gave me some 9 volts for $1 a piece. The paint prices were good but the torque paint seemed to be old or something it was very warped and dimpled so the owner gave us a discount on the paint.
The fields are pretty good not the best in Maine but better than most. Its a grass field, but there are some rocks and the ground is pretty hard. the sup air bunkers are the old large ones that are pretty hard and the hyper ball field consists of permanent bunkers. The village is a cool idea but the bunkers/buildings are spaced out really far and there is a large distance from the fort so its really hard for the for the be over taken.
The reffing was kinda bad it was two really young kids that just stood next to each other talking during the whole game. I got shot in the back and yelled for a paint check the reff refused to come over to check me and just gave me a thumbs up to keep playing.
This is my second favorite field in Maine, and its too bad that it is so far away from where I am. However anyone in the area has to check it out because the owner is a great guy and the prices are way better than flying dutchman and splatz, but my local field is still cheaper.

Review: Strengths:
-The prices were very good
-The Owner and ref were knowledgable and helpful
-The Hyperball and airball fields were Awsome
-Free compressed air
-The playing areas are netted so you can watch games that are taking place without a mask

Weaknessess:
-Currently no woodsball fields (the owner said he was putting one in for next year)
-only 3 fields (hyperball, airball, and a village)
-Personally I don't think that there was enough cover in the village even though it was put together very well

Conclusion: The service was very good, staff was friendly
If You are budget-minded or purely a speedball player go to adventure sports, if woodsball is you thing go to flying dutchmann

Review: #1 I dont think I have ever been as disappointed with a feild as I was Adventures the owner is a liar and a cheat If anyone wants a good feild in the Dover-Foxcroft area they need to check out "The Flying Dutchamn" its 110% better and the owner has class and dignity

Though ever since bob took over it is great the speed ball coure is good the prices are compitive and the refs are very knowable and will help you with any problesm a real great place to go and for people that live in the bangor area it is a good close feild about a half hour drive rouge is good too but it is so far away. can't wait til sumer to start playing here again.

Review: I only went here once. The cost was not too bad..... But the field was not that good.
The owner didnt even come out with us... He gave us directions to the field and told us to have fun. NO REFS..... NO ADULTS.... and when I asked if the insurance covered us without adults he just said he thought so. We got there and the fields were not amazing... the netting had actually fallen down. The paint we bought had breaks in it. And the buildings looked like they werent finsished.
ontop of that I spent more time fixing HIS guns then my own.

All in all we did not really enjoy ourselves.
The owner was pretty nice but apaprently this is just a part time thing for him....

Review: Advnture sports was a nice place to visit. I've only been there twice, with just my brothers. The first time we went, it was a perfect day. Even though there were only three of us, Bob was very helpful. We forgot my third hopper, so he called his proshop and had one brought out at no extra charge. We used severe paint which only cost us $60 per case.
The second time we went, It pored rain and we tried playing in between the rain, but water was getting into the ports of the barrels and killing accuracy. So now we have a free pass to there whenever we are able to go again. (Did I mention Bob is a great guy?)
We played both the hyperball and "fort" fields. The fields were blocked off by proper netting. and there was a seperate netted area for the crono station.
The little shed they have there has an awesome crompressor and tank filling station setup.

I really like this field because the ownership is great and the firelds are very well built and thought out.
