Review: First, Firestorm is my homefield and it rocks!!! But it doesnt have showers and locker rooms nor does it have plasma screens. But it does have he neatest pro shop i have seen in a long while. The field is very clean and the bunkers are always being moved weekly. During the summer i play there many times and I love it. The refs are always on top of people wearing masks and having barrel blugs in.

Review: Excellent Feild. Website is horribly out of date. It's about an Hour drive from the Portland area, and it's worth the trip. Owner is really cool, ref's are awesome(but slightly unprofessional, they would fire our guns while we were in the chrono area). Overall, I love their feilds which are slightly more run down now then they are on the site.

Tl:Dr AWESOME FEILD!

Haven't played at these fields, but browsed them a bit...
-Bennet's Allweather Paintball
-Rogue Paintball

I believe I was playing at the Firestorm location in Windham.
Review: Here's an interesting story...
So I show up at Rogue Paintball with a close friend of mine, and it just plain looks like crap. The field was deflated, and they put a tower in the center of thier speedball course. They didn't charge me for air though. So there is a bus full of kids from a hockey camp from the Bridgeton Academy, mostly kids under 14 I'd say, and the Rogue staff refused to let the campers play because of some waiver business (parent's letting thier kids play). So the counselor asks us if there is another field around, and we suggested Firestorm (hadn't played there yet at the time). So they offer to pay for our paint if we take them there (and why not there were only 2 little kids at Rogue playing anyway!), so we did. We pay $10 for 2 hours ($5 an hour is the rate, $15 for the day, pretty standard), and I used mostly my own paint, because the counselor was a tad stingy with the paint purchasing (field paint only). So I'm working the few BKO's and rental T98c's, and after the 2 hours the bus leaves. Then like 15 more people show up and a few Marines arrive. We decide to stay and tell them we want another hour. The guy let's us play free since we brought 28 kids in a bus and give them $900 in business. Me and my friend didn't lose one game while playing together and we dominated the Marine fellows, as well as the 3 kids with electrics practicing for the tourney on August 22nd (GO!!). I wish I could've played but I was only there visiting, and the closest field to me is in Virgina (Leesburg), and I live in Potomac, Maryland. I was using a cocker with HPA and my friend had a Triad and a 9 oz. and we didn't pay for air all day, the company was real good to us and it's a new place, and soon to be a thriving paintball location. I give them a 10 for the great service and the awesome business they ran for us.

Strengths:
+Cheap air / CO2
+Very nice refs: always payed attention
+Great competition
+Very safe (ref's required condoms on while off the field at all times, and masks on the field at all times, and yelled at me a twice =P)
+On-field chronograph
+Inflated barriers (loved the snake and 50 =P)
+Great help / matienence

Weaknesses:
-Woodsball field is like 20 minutes away (not that it matters)
-Not a very populated town
-Construction (tough to communicate)

GO TO FIRESTORM!! I'M GOING BACK NEXT YEAR FOR SURE, OR SOONER!

None in the area, but I highly reccomend OSG Paintball in Barnstead, NH, which i could safely say is my home field. Also Paintball Alley in Danbury, NH (ugh...dont get me started), Rochester (Berwick) Indoor and PG Xtreme Indoor in Concord (both gone), Canobie Paintball in Windham, NH...
Review: Here's the story. I was on vacation at my relative's camp and I had brought all my paintball gear with me so I decided to go on a Sunday. This is in Shapleigh, Maine. Let me just say that the state of Maine has done a nice job of placing all of its paintball fields within a half hour's drive from each other which is great compared to the 40-90 minute drives to fields in NH. So its sunday mornin and I'm getting ready early and decide to go to Rogue which has been in APG magazine and i thought it was cool. So my dad and i arrive there to find it wasn't open. Me being from NH, I'm like "NOT OPEN ON SUNDAYS?!?!" so me and my dad are riding down a different road back to the camp when we see signs for Firestorm and thoguht, "Hey Im Here and i feel like playin, lets go!" when we arrive, there's a few cars and fathers hangin out in the parking lot waiting for the refs to arrive. We are all talking and come to find out, they were a private b-day party and so I asked if i could join them and they said it was fine with them.

Now that thats over with, on to the review. I bought a case for $60. Good. Cheap air fills. Good. Me and the fathers (80's players who stopped playing because of dang kids. lol) were on a team and were outnumbered by 10-15 year old newbies, but it was still great fun. Its fun 'baptizing' noobs with paint. But I did teach them some stuff too. But Anyways the field. They have a unique speedball (if u can even call it that) field. Its hard to describe. Lets just say Dynasty and Naughty Dogs would have trouble finding lanes and walking this field. I loved their town field because the houses were definately made to look like cabins, unlike some other fields i've seen. I never got to play on their woods field but i didnt need to. I loved the place. The refs were nice, experienced and do their jobs well. I'll give this field an 8 because it was a little small and Maine fields should be open on Sundays, regardless of religious activities :-). I'll probably go there again this year .

Review: This filed is quite simpaly put amazing. They only have one field but what they lack in quantity they more than make up for in quality. It is a larg airball field. It has a irrgation system so the grass is always fresh and good for sliding. They rotate the bunkers every week so that the field is different just about every time you play...pending on how much you play. There are ZERO bare spots on the fild so you dont gotta worry about hitting dirt. There are also ZERO rocks so you wont be worried about hitting one of those pesky little buggers while sliding into your bunker.
The also have a pretty decent pro shjop as far as products go. Not to much in the higher end marker market tho. However once again what they lack in quantity they make up for in quality. this is one of the neatest and well kept ro shops I have ecver seen. And last but not least they have a very good staff who all know what they are dooing from reffing to filling tanks. The refs at the field are outstanding also.
They plan on getting t.v.'s and 16 x box's soon so that if a rain storm starts you will not be short of fun till it passes.

So more or less go play at this field and you wont be dissapointed.

Review: Well, where can i start... The fields are unbelievable with everything from realistic war like bunkers to sniper towers...the other guy is right about the proshop but they are opening up a full proshop in windham within weeks and from what i've heard and seen it's going to be the best in the area...top of the line stuff...plasma screens hanging from the ceiling... locker rooms w/ showers....whole nine yards...and the airball field will be the best in maine for sure...so in conclusion i wont be suprised if Firestorm turns into the biggest paintball chain in New England...just a little more work!

Review: This has 2 woodsball fields (Cabin Fever & Alpha Course) and 1 speedball field. The alpha course has three 20' tall towers, a dump truck, and alot of bunkers and ditches. The cabin field had well, lots of cabins and a few sandbags, other than that it doesn't have much stuff (it still is fun though). And last but not least the speed ball field, this one is OK, but I suppose I say that because I don't like speedball too much. Anyhoo this field has many vetical fiberglass(? Don't know the exact material ?) bunkers and a large 4 cornered one in the middle. I give it an 8/10 for only having 3 fields and its pro-shop is rather small. Prices are average so if your in Northern Maine, go here!!!
