Ok, i have played paintball along time now, goin on 13 years. I also am a head ref at Fox Piantball in va beach, va. and i play for Seek And Destroy. The most notable fields i have played at are EMR and paintball charleston. These are my favorite cause they play so well. Adventure beach PLAYS JUST LIKE THEM. This is an awesome well ran field. And as i said i am a ref and can recognize good reffing. ABP has outstanding refs that opperate with a sence of excellence and pride. This is a great field. |

This field rocks! The city is great for CQB battles, their are lots of wooded areas to sneak around in, and an A/C'd pro shop. The staff is friendly and helpful. The pro shop has most of the essentials. I've been to 2 big games as a player and had a great time.
I would really recommend this field to anyone, we've had people come from as far away as TN, VA, DC, GA, FL, SC, WVA, and AL just to play here. That should tell you something.| Last edited on Monday, June 16th, 2008 at 5:26 am PST |

Start off by saying this field has come a long way. The refs and staff are so friendly. Dont be afraid to talk to them they are great people, very helpful. They don't have the best stocked proshop, but they are working on it and have the basics. Never had to wait long for CO2 of HPA. They are good about making people chrono, safety first. At all the big games I have been to they have provided great food, hamburgers, hot dogs, BBQ! The field is the best part about this place though. They have a well built city thats great for some CQB combat, And a great woodsball field. They have a variety of different terrains, and forts. Very good field and they seem to be building all the time. Every experience I have had at this field has been good and getting better every time. |

Paint Ball Aventure has been very successful with Events. Tippmann has sponsored the field and provide great prize packs for their games. They also have renamed the Tactical City to Tippmann Town and renamed the chruch to Tippmann Chapel and the Hotel to the X7 Inn. The staff and refs are great.
They produce good scenario's for rec players. FREE FRIDAYS and Camping. See
Website for Details.
Open on SAT. and Sun, Week day by Appt. This field is really looking good. new bunkers, and forts, Max max base has been redone and the city has more bunkers between it and the woods. Staff is very pleasent to work with and they sevice all types of guns. | Last edited on Thursday, October 25th, 2007 at 4:39 am PST |

Right now the fields are a mess. I play for a team sponsored buy Adventure Beach so I know why they are the way they are so I am going to enlighten everybody on the situation.
The ownership of Adventure Beach got changed to Cecil Rodgers of Ground Zero Paintball and they haven't had a chance at getting everything together field wise and store wise. But with the completion of the NPPL and other major tournaments expect to see a lot of changes around Adventure Beach especially the fields.
Their is a slight smell on the field that comes from the water in the ground. The water has sulphur in it so.
Iron sry about the scar bro lol. |

I took a jolly trip down to tabor city to play in the CBPL finals, and arrived to a dead field. The field's werent up, the chrony wasent out, and the place was a wreck. As soon as i got out of the truck, a wave of smelly-hot air washed over me.
This field is by FAR the WORST smelling field i have EVER played at. It literally smelled like raw sewage everywhere. It was the most vile smell. One guy on the Gotcha Boys 5man squad actually vomited one time as he was entering the field over one of the sludge pools. On top of that, the refs had no hand-held crony's. Velocity cheating was all over the place. I have a scar on my jawline to proove that. :pissed:
The refs themselves were nice guys tho. I will give them that. If you were nice to them, they were nice back. Pretty standard. And the staff in the proshop was nice also. Some of the girls helped get my bloody nasty jaw wound patched up
For this tournament, they had only one, count em, ONE field up, and it was a crappy x-ball field. This is a ACTS tourny, and now all of a sudden we're playing a run-down NXL field. Greaaaat. :grumpy:
The smell was my biggest gripe. If the envoirnment is not pleasant, then it's not a field for me. People wise, it was nice, but not the actual fields, which matter alot to me.
Sorry adventure. Yall are good folks, but your field is not.

This field was awesome, the city rocks and the woods end of it was set up nice. Cannot say enough good stuff. The owner was great with emails for getting our group ready to go. The staff was great, and the home team shadow group was on top of their game. We felt welcome right off the bat. Thanks again. |

I live about 45 mins from the field, and have been there twice already and i am going again this weekend. It is definitely worth the drive. the staff is really helpful. I was going to play with my 20oz CO2, but instead they let me borrow a comp. air tank for free. Doesnt seem like a big deal, but it takes 1/10th the time to refill plus its more consistent. the prices are really good. Admission and All day air is $10. then all you have to do is buy paint. And their paint prices are good too. this field is as good if you go with a couple friends or with a large group. The first time i went with just one friend. we hopped right in there and played with the people already there. we had a blast and made a few friends. The second trip we took a group of 8 people with us, and only 3 had EVER even fired a paintball gun. Everyone was fitted up with the rental gear, and we had a ball.
All in all this is a really nice field. |
