First off I have to say this is an excellent field, the staff there are the frendliest I have ever met. They're quick to answer any questions you have, help fix any problems you might have, and Ozzie himslef is the greatest person to talk with.
Their pro shop isn't what I would call a proshop, but there is always someone to help you out with any gun problems, they're relativley cheap and if they don't have it they will get it for you.
The fields aren't very large or diverse. As a matter of fact, they only have air ball fields. I'd have to say that 95% of the players are extremly nice and everyone conducts themselves in a sportsman like manner. No one is going to throw ropes at you from ten feet away, they also go easy on the noobs. The only problem I've had is with the locals who have thier own team there and think they own the place. They tend to play paintball more like its a job than a recreational sport.
Usually around lunchtime Ozzie throws some hamburgers and hotdogs on the grill and sells them for about a buck a piece. There's drink an chips and usually every breaks down for an hour or so and cools off.
For a total score I'd have to give Ozzie's a 9.0 due to the lack of fields, ( you find the anal retentive locals at every field). From advanced players to noobs it's just a nice place to go and have a nice funfilled day of paintball. |

Ozzie's Kamikaze's overall was a decent place.....
Price;
5$ entry...$10 to use your own paint...$10 all day air You fill your HPA tank, 1 x 4500psi and 1 x 3000psi fill stations (the 4500 fill station gives true 4500 fills )
Paint;
$45 for low grade (white box) paint....don't use this stuff
$65 for the better quality stuff
Also a few other types of paint...low, mid & high grade paint
Location;
off I-75 (exit 341) and when driving down Ozzie's road, the field is right behind the truck scale on Southbound I-75 (so it's about 45 min from Orlando)
Facilities;
Port-a potty to do #1 or/and #2
Picnic tables and spools all with shade to rest under and to keep your stuff.
Fields;
Quite a few...like 4 airball (3 man & 5 man), a fort field & a drain piping field with a tree. He has a concrete pipe field but the day I went it was not netted off. Fields are still nice and grassy...good for sliding. For being near the outskirts of Ocala, which is almost country, he does not have a woodsball field.
There are no refs so you gotta organize your games and ref them yourself....just sign a waiver & play! Be careful as safety is an issue that's not stressed and some of the people can be careless so again be careful, quite a few people kept taking of their masks, after the game was over, but while still on the field with non barrel bagged guns.
It was clean and he has a decent size parking lot which is far from the fields so you should not get paint on your ride.
Shop;
Cash only. no credit/debit cards. He has paint & a few items for sale...he has cold drinks on sale ($1)...and they can try to help you with some repairs to your gun & tank. So it's decent overall
I enjoyed going to Ozzie's and would recommend this field to the beginners, rec ballers & teams as a cheap practice facility.| Last edited on Sunday, July 30th, 2006 at 11:34 pm PST |

this place is the best field in florida! i have visted place all over miami, orlando, ocala, tallahassee, and gainseville, no where is even close as good! if your within a couple hours i would go there in a heart beat. it is very reasonable price. everyone there is really nice. if ur havin gun problems someone there will no how to fix it believe me i have had a "spyder, cocker, ion, e-cocker, shocker, and now gettin an ego." there is a variety of skill from first timers to pro's, you will fit in now matter how good or bad you are. ozzie sometimes cooks out on the grill "its delicious i have them a lot." don't worry parents it is very safe there. the tournaments are awesome. it is defiantly a !!!10!!!
go there and believe me you wont want to leave!
TREVOR
p.s. "if you see a 14-year-old rockin an ego-playin with the pro's its me" |

Ozzies is a great tournament field. He just got brand new fields and their kept very well. I enjoy playing at Ozzies and I really enjoy his location, its pretty cool because your right next to the interstate and your playing paintballm its just a cool feeling. This is definitley the best run field in Florida. And is a great place for tournament style play.
Thanks for the great time. 10/10 |

The feild was great ozzie is a really nice person. I have only been on sunday which was tournament practice and it was fun the players are helpful and the teams are pretty good to practice with. The prices are the best part of the whole place, i only payed 50.00 for a case, all day air, admission. If you can find a place with better feilds and cheaper prices then please let me know. Their only problem is they dont take credit cards they only take cash so stop at a gas station and get 50.00$ then u are good to go. The paint is decent too. I gave it a ten becasue the feild is great, the players are great, the prices are cheap, and ozzie is a really nice guy. |

If you ever get a chance to play at Ozzies, do! The fields are great; he's got a few airball fields as well as a corrugated sewer pipe field, a cement drain pipe field, and another constructed of plywood obstacles with a tower. 5 different fields in all.
But, the best part of playing at Ozzies is the atmosphere. Ozzie loves families, teams, and anyone else who loves the sport of paintball. He bends over backwards just to make sure everyone leaves happy. His prices are the lowest I've ever seen, and he's got a descent selection of guns and accessories.
Give Ozzies a try if you're in the area. He is honestly one of the nicest people I've ever met. This is my favorite local field. |

Well Ive been to Ozzies twice for tournaments with my team GATOR PAINTBALL.
I can say that I was very pleased with everything. The tables to setup are kept nicely and covered from the hot sun. The whole place is grass and beautiful. Very nice for sliding. The fields are great and basically brand new. The air is great 5000 fills every time. I especially love the owner Ozzie, hes a really nice guy and very helpful to everyone. They have cookouts everyday and food is inexpensive. Hot dogs, chips n cheese, sodas, chips, and snacks. I love playing here because it is right off the highway and a very nice atmosphere. Theres always a cool breeze blowing in.
Play here if you get a chance.

Orlando Paintball (Played 2 times): In my opinion, OP is a great field for newbies or people who havent played at OP yet. However bottom line is this: the fields havent been changed since they opened, the indoor fields smell like a chickencoop only worse, the toilet is worse than a port a potie, the refs are lazy, the paint is expensive and their field rentals are horrible! With that being said OP is definetely worth going to once or twice IF you have your own equipment. The more times you go there the more you will be disappointed. |

Location: 45 min from orlando on I-75.
Price: $5 entrance, $5 use your own paint fee, $10 all day air.
Paint: case of spank for $45 or cronic for arround $65 (paint was about the price you could find anywhere--in comparison a case of zap at OP was $80!!!!)
Fields: 1 xbal, 2 airball, 1 spool, 1 pipe, 1 fort, 1 concrete bunker deal.
Refs: None
Shop/Service: good enough.
Bathroom: Port a potie
Sitting area: Yes, they had 5-6 tables with tents.
Weaknesses: No refs, no real bathrooms, cash only<--minor
Strengths: Very flexible, inexpensive, extremely friendly people, great airball fields, ample space to sit (with shade! love the SHADE!!) and clean.
Overall: although I have only played ozzies once, I came away with a great appreciation for the owners and a prime example of how a paintball field should be run. I will definitely play here more. Not having any refs was almost a strength in that we had the flexibility to do whatever we wanted and play over multiple fields. Cash only isn't really a problem either unless you plan on buying a whole bunch of paint or a gun. I cant say enough how fun it was to play a good field. If they had a real bathroom id give it a 10. |
