Topaz, SMT, Commando games, painstorm, (ie, everywhere in the valley)
This is more of a league than a feild really. Basically, A guy built a bunch of fields, really good ones too, and hooked up a pimped out stereo system right beide them, and said "Hey, com'on over for a game or two" To everyone he knew that played. It was a hit, and everyone just kept coming back. The guy who runs it puts up night games, historical missions, the works.
Its actually at his farm, so you can imagine its a great place for speed ball, and mixed woods/speed ball, and straight out wood games. The hike to the woods ball field is a bit lengthy, maybe 5 minutes walking, though the speed ball arena is like right there.
It doesn't cost anything to play, and its bring your paint. I don't think DZ or Dead is actually a Business Entity, so there is no insurance forms to sign, but he looked up the policies, and as long there are clear marked 'mask on' areas and 'barrel plug' areas, as well as no exchange of money at the site, he's free from lawsuits if someone gets stung by a bee or strains themselves too much.
Basically, he organizes a day, tells everyone to come to the field (usually at 12:30-6:00pm) and we just play. Its pretty awsome cause you dont get stuck with crappy field paint, you bring your own from anywhere. There is no air/Co2 there too (bummer) so bring your own as well. Theres a chrono and stuff, as well as refs, so its ran pretty well.
If your thinking about joining the DZ or Dead club, email him at: DZ_or_DEAD@go.com to ask when the next date to play is set.
I gave the field a 9, for what it is, a club really, because the field deserves 10, but there is no air fills available, which deracts from it. Great feild, recommended if your in the area, but don't got more than an hours and a quarters worth out of your way to go to it, theres better places to go to for that distance. still, great fields, great service, great refs.
(DZ=Drop Zone.. I think its army slang for 'drop zone or dead')
