Review: Brought my college paintball club there for a saturday. There was 1 ref who plays on Splatz ESG (one of the top ranked teams up in NE) and was a good ref, nice guy.

Prices: 15 entrance and air. 38 a case. Good
Hours: 12-4 or 5 on saturdays. Proshop is open till 7 almost every day.
Rules: Good. What else can someone say.
Staff: Awesome people who actually ball.
Proshop: Stacked with good CURRENT products. Nothin old.
Players: Most of us knew how to play and have played before. And.....yeah.

Everything was top notch. Bunkers started to sag at the end of the day but easily filled.

Review: Splatz is bangor has re-opened after a few years of down time. The playing surface is dirt so its kind of hard to slide on and rough, if you have knee and elbow pads its not that bad. The bunkers are nice and the feild always seems to be set up in a unique way everytime i play it. The staff is very nice and they always help the new players when they come, to try and permote the sport well. The airsystem is great and the prices are very very good. 15 dollars entry and 45 a case, what more can you ask for? Over all this feild is great but the ground could use a little work.

Review: Splatz in Bangor has finally re-opened a field! The playing surface has some kinks, but my experience was stellar regardless. The playing surface is dirt, and while I wore knee and elbow pads and was very content with the surface, for the first couple of weeks you may want to be careful. The dimensions of the field are perfect for any format, and I played 5on5's on it comfortably this past weekend.

There are some rocks about the field because the space was just bulldozed and the owner Brian said he didn't have enough time to truely grow grass this season that would stay, which is understandable. The playing surface is still nice though, and the bunkers are good as well. The pricing is really nice like the Topsham field, and the pro to this field over the Topsham field is that the field is right behind the store. In the store, you can pretty much get anything you need.

If you are in the area, definitly come to this field! The competition at this field is good, and the people are nice.

Review: I called down to make a reservation and see if they rented guns, and I was told that the field closed three years ago. I was very dissapointed because their website said that they had a field open. I thought that it was very irresposible for the owners no to update thier website, or post that they were closed.

Flying Dutchman Paintball they don't splatz beats them in every way from there pro shop to there refs and how knowledgable they are in the sport of piantball and how good they are with the guns.
Review: I've been playing paintball for a long time 7 years as a matter of fact. I have played mostly woods ball until a 2 yrs ago when I switched to speedball after my first trip to splatz. Brian is one hell of a guy he really helped me out when I first met him. I had a tank that was out of hydro it was a 68 3000 carbon tank. I asked him to have it hydroed for me and the people that were doing it broke and reg neck off in the tank and then couldn't get them out. I had payed $75 for this tank used from another field when I called him he said too bad. Brian then offered me a tank from his store with a $75 store credit towards it. Last time I checked that is awesome customer service. That carries right onto his field and is exhibited by all his employees. I give this field a 20 it's the best place to play and the only one that gets my adrenaline flowing.

Lost Valley Paintball- wasnt open so we just walked around and practiced bunker moves (without paint)
Review: Tthis course is great, the people who run the course were really nice, they let my friend use a gun of thiers because he didn't have one. Thier field is airball. They have a few refs who seem to know what they're doing, they also had good service for air refills, which were free. The time I went there were a few freindly people, newbs and experienced players alike. I really liked playing at this feild.

Tthe only bad things about it i could think of was that thier paint was expensive $50 for a case of stingers, which i beleive is paint worth the chrono and thats it.

I give it a ten because of the great people, service and a lot of fun.

EDIT: The problem with this feild is that for most people it is too far away, I'd like to see some more paintball in Maine because the only other feilds I've been to were either open on the wrong days, or charging $100 for a case of feild paint, that was brutal.

EDIT:Also entry is pretty cheap and I liked the feild better than my home feild in Clinton Mass simply because it's a longer and has the shooting lanes more open. The guys let us have a folding table and chairs so they are cool.

I don't thik there are any others in the Bangor area, but there are some nice ones more north. Like Rogue and Adventure Sports.
Review: This is a great field, and the owner, Brian, is a very nice guy. I've only played here twice before, but they were both great experiences. They're always rearranging the position of the bunkers too. Sometimes theres a snake, then next week they'll change it into a ladder. This field is very fun to play at, and even better when it's wet. Can't wait to play there Saturday! Got a tourney! Woohoo!

Review: This is a great felid, Brian and his crew did a lot of hard work to get this feild up and running. Besides that this feild is great for the pro or nube. The refs are great and fair, i have reffed there myself and its not fun reffing the zipper. It is flat and grassy, great for sliding. The refs there will forful your evry need and they do have c02 so all the woodsball players can play some real paintball. This is the best place in maine, Brian had a place in portland, but he had to move so its all set. come here and play some great paintball
i give it a 10

SPLATZ IS YOUR GOD
Review: this place hass it all , an air ball/ x ball field, netting, plenty of parking, resonably priced, technicians on hand, and referees are very watchful for the safety youngsters. Splatz has done a great job with this field, it is in a remote location and hs every thing u need there, except a nice place to sit, only picnic table all day, and always the sun! did i mention the sodium lights or somethign like that they have, night game baby! any ways this is a great field, it offers a lot to every player.

i dont give out a lot of 10's but this gets a 9.5, rounded up to a big 10

none, thank god someone made a feild i was gettin tired of woods ball!!
Review: this feild is sweet. they have a complete sup'air ball feild. its 10 to get in that with all day air and paint is resenobly priced its like 13 for the cheapest and they have evil for 22. this is easily the best feild in maine. i think they should have the world cup there!!! ok not the world cup but at least have a nppl tourney! that would be mad crazy. there is also a food joint right next door that includes bowling, big screen tv's, golf, and video games. this is a great complex!! everyone who reads this should go and bring freinds. from newbies to pro's, when i say pros i mean real pros like team dynasty or at least Lasoya, they might even allow Jeremy Salm because it has netting!! hahahaha! wat a loser. well just come and play this place is amazing!!
