Review: I believe that this field is now closed.

Okay, there are not enough words in this review.

How many words does it take to find out whether a field is closed or not?

I mean, I've found lots of listings for closed fields.

It would be nice to know whether a field is really open if you're looking for a new field to play at.

Review: Overall this was a good field. As stated in other reviews I found the owner to be easy to contact and talk to. He always returned my calls in a prompt manner and was pretty easy going. The prices are reasonable ($22 for a Tippmann 98 custom, mask and air or $15 for players with their own equipment). Only a couple of people in my group had their own equipment and I was pleasantly surprised to see that the field used various masks (JT Spectra, Scott and others) with, for the most part, thermal lenses. The equipment was in fair shape (for rentals) and none of the players in my group had any real issues with any of the equipment. I was a bit disappointed with the paint (dimples and one of the bags had a broken ball) but, I can't complain too much because we only paint $12.50 for 500 balls.

I enjoy playing on fields with large boundaries and by large I mean five or more acres(too bad there aren't many around). This being said, I found both of their main fields to be a bit small. I would say that more than five people on a team would be too many for either of the fields. Their speed ball court consists of an open field with various obstacles to hide behind. It rained the day before our event so the field was a bit muddy but it wasn't too bad. The woods consisted of various natural barriers and a small wooden fort in the middle. The woods were also pretty muddy with quite a bit of standing water near the fort. However, no one in my group seemed to mind and some of them even enjoyed sliding in the mud.

The referee did a nice job. He went over the safety rules and strictly enforced them. He suggested a number of unique games to play but also listened to what we wanted to do. At too many other fields I find that the ref's don't really care what the group wants to do, they just run the same games over and over... not here. The interaction between the ref and the group helped make the day a success.

Pros:
Nice people
Good guns
Good masks
Variety of games
Good price

Cons:
Lack of terrain variety (one speed ball field and one woods field)
Small fields (in my opinion)

Review: Well, i havent really played there, but i've watched sum, and this where i go to buy my air and paint. The guy who owns the place is super nice, and beyond helpful. He has alot of open play dates and his rental equipment is super clean and taken care of. I plan on playing there, but i built my own field behind my house about 15 minutes away, so thats why i havent played there. But like i said i've always got my air and paint there and his prices are second to none! He has a great selection of markers and equipment, and hes one of the nicest people i've met. I tell everyone to go there.

Review: This paintball feild is great. Great Refs. The Refs like to mix up the games. You go from elimination in the speedball course to attack and defend in the woods. Great Prices on paintballs and on air. The fields are great. They have some nice bunkers even for some bigger guys like me. Overall a great feild to go to for lots of fun.

Conclusion: Great Feild for the price!!

Review: This appears to be a great field to play at for beginers, novice, and advanced players. The staff is friendly and will assist in any way. The owner was easy to work with, he kept in touch and made sure everything was ready for our group. As for the REFS...what can you say about refs who are: fair and consistent, their #1 priority is safety (always reminding everyone about barrel plugs even when we had them in, and continued to make sure everyone had their masks on until we reached the staging area after every game). They have extensive knowledge of the game, rules, and the field. They keep the games moving and are creative with the games. They give hints to the new players and made sure everyone understood what was going on and that they were having fun.

There were only a few things I thought could make a big difference. The staging area is all safety netting, even the roof of the area. It is designed for shade not shelter in bad weather. The staging area was flooded when we played and we had to walk on skids to keep from sinkingin water and mud. Now saying that, to give the benefit of the doubt to the field; it did rain the night before and for the first hour we were there. The paint was not great, everyone was breaking paint. Again; benefit of the doubt to the field, they do not charge much for the paint $12.50 for seconds for 500 rounds or $46 for a case of 2000 rounds. There was some higher end paint there available, but; not much. I have to say and remind myself and others…You get what you pay for!

With all that said...

Pros:
Great prices($10 field fee)($22 if you rent: marker,mask,pods/ pack, and all day CO2)($1 per 1000lbs for HPA, $2.75 per CO2 20oz fill if you own your equipt)
Great refs
Great fields (well kept and clean) (2 speed ball fields and a huge woods field)
Great location (Easy to find)

Cons:
Lack of good staging area (all netting, no solid shelter from weather)
Long walk to get air fills (good exercise)
Field paint only; no carry on
Paint is not that great, but; they do not charge much for it $12.50 for 500 rounds or $46 for a case of 2000 of seconds
No all day air for HPA or CO2 if you own

I would highly recommend playing this field, our group will certainly play here again, rain or shine....
