This field is awesome and always has a setup that is mirrored and very fun to play. The staff is great, especially Kelly, the owner. He is very knowledgeable with anything you need to know on and off the field. I have been to other fields that think just cause they work at a paintball field that they are God's greatest gift to the sport. The staff here is not like that at all. They are all down to earth and are willing to help out anybody and make everyone's paintball experience the best they can. Definitely an A-1 establishment. Thanks for all the enjoyable memories i've had there Kelly!
Patriot is the only other field in town. At Casel-land the younger or less experienced players won't be made to play against the staff or more experienced players unless thay want to. The paintball prices and field fees really are the best in town.
Directions to the Field:
Very easey to find Hwy 60/84 (near Cannon Air Force Base) & Hwy 467 can't miss it.
Kelly (the BIG guy that runs the the place) will do almost anything to make sure you have the best time playing paintball he or his staff can. Thay have lights and so thay don't mind if you play late. The bathrooms are always clean, and thay do have a snackbar, two big cover areas were you can eat or have partys or BBQ, 12 tables I think. Thay also have Go Carts, Batting Cage, Mini Golf & Bumper Boats if you want to take a break from playing paintball. No real proshop, but again staff is great, but DON"T take your mask off on the field (Kelly don't like that) ,refs are fair, Field is good, paintball rentals are the are the best I have seen anywere. They will let you borrow stuff (mask, air tank) for free.
Just go to Google Maps and type in Castle Land Fun Center, Clovis NM and It will give you a good quality map to the field.
In my opinion, this is one of the best fields in New Mexico. The paint prices are fair and the management is exceptional. Mr. Castleman (the guy that runs the place) is really cool and if you have a Shocker with problems then he's the guy to go to.
The field, depending on the weather, has two set ups. When the air up bunkers are set up they always have good mirrors and are always inflated fully. When the tires are set up the games become more chalanging (because the tire stacks are small and spread out) but it's really fun. There is always a good snake on the field no matter what field set up there is.
The set up area is nice. It has four tables that you can keep your gear on. If you get hungry or thirsty you can just go over to the consession stand and buy some food. Every thing that they sell is reasonably priced. They do have a restroom but its in a seperate building from the field.
Mr. Castleman has things that you can buy but they are not displayed anywhere. If you want something, you have to ask him for it and he'll go get it from the supply room. Some of the things that they sell are: tanks, jerseys, paint, masks, and I know they have more stuff but I don't know exactly what they have.
Overall I would say that this is a great field for paintballers of all skill levels. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for good prices and a good time.

If you drive by this place you first might think it's not all that great bacause there is only one field. It's acutally one of the funniest fields I've played on. You can't use your own paint put it's a good price for the quality paint. They are open 7 days a week from I think noon till 11pm and the leave the field lit. They have other stuff there to like go-carts and batting cages, but I just paintballed. It's $15 to play and the guy that owns the place is really cool if your getting tired of the same teams he might even play a bit or suggest different game rules. He's also the ref and since there is one field he's the only one. there weren't that many players there but he said they usally came on the weekend. Overall I give this a 10/10.
Kelly has a good thing going here. he has good fair refs cheap prices and good service. the bad part is its only one field and its a touch small but its fun to use and i cant expect it to be dallas. so i give it a 9/10.
This field is a descent field with friendly staff and low prices $45.00 per case even if your not experienced you will have fun and if you are really good there will usually be at least two people who will match you in skill or be better than you the have good rental guns there also 98 customs though there is no pro shop the owner sells some guns and dose a small amount of mantince
Casel-Land's good points- their prices (field, rentals, and paint) are excellent, their field is well kept (SupAir) and the staff is very friendly and do their best to make the games fun for eveyone, regardless of skill level. Also, if you're with a group and they don't like paintball, there is plenty of other things to do. And one of the best things - the owner is incredibly "consumer-friendly". Kelly does anything he can to make your visit enjoyable, if you have ideas, talk to him. It'll amaze you how well he implements good ideas.
The things that need improving- there is only one field, there's no pro shop (but it is Clovis, so the game's pretty new still), and the winter hours stink (Friday nights only).
I think that once paintball catches on in Clovis, this place will be packed out and hopefully they will put a few teams together.
