In my opinion, this is one of the best fields in New Mexico. The paint prices are fair and the management is exceptional. Mr. Castleman (the guy that runs the place) is really cool and if you have a Shocker with problems then he's the guy to go to.
The field, depending on the weather, has two set ups. When the air up bunkers are set up they always have good mirrors and are always inflated fully. When the tires are set up the games become more chalanging (because the tire stacks are small and spread out) but it's really fun. There is always a good snake on the field no matter what field set up there is.
The set up area is nice. It has four tables that you can keep your gear on. If you get hungry or thirsty you can just go over to the consession stand and buy some food. Every thing that they sell is reasonably priced. They do have a restroom but its in a seperate building from the field.
Mr. Castleman has things that you can buy but they are not displayed anywhere. If you want something, you have to ask him for it and he'll go get it from the supply room. Some of the things that they sell are: tanks, jerseys, paint, masks, and I know they have more stuff but I don't know exactly what they have.
Overall I would say that this is a great field for paintballers of all skill levels. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for good prices and a good time.| Last edited on Wednesday, April 2nd, 2008 at 4:05 pm PST |

If you drive by this place you first might think it's not all that great bacause there is only one field. It's acutally one of the funniest fields I've played on. You can't use your own paint put it's a good price for the quality paint. They are open 7 days a week from I think noon till 11pm and the leave the field lit. They have other stuff there to like go-carts and batting cages, but I just paintballed. It's $15 to play and the guy that owns the place is really cool if your getting tired of the same teams he might even play a bit or suggest different game rules. He's also the ref and since there is one field he's the only one. there weren't that many players there but he said they usally came on the weekend. Overall I give this a 10/10. |

This field is a descent field with friendly staff and low prices $45.00 per case even if your not experienced you will have fun and if you are really good there will usually be at least two people who will match you in skill or be better than you the have good rental guns there also 98 customs though there is no pro shop the owner sells some guns and dose a small amount of mantince |

Casel-Land's good points- their prices (field, rentals, and paint) are excellent, their field is well kept (SupAir) and the staff is very friendly and do their best to make the games fun for eveyone, regardless of skill level. Also, if you're with a group and they don't like paintball, there is plenty of other things to do. And one of the best things - the owner is incredibly "consumer-friendly". Kelly does anything he can to make your visit enjoyable, if you have ideas, talk to him. It'll amaze you how well he implements good ideas.
The things that need improving- there is only one field, there's no pro shop (but it is Clovis, so the game's pretty new still), and the winter hours stink (Friday nights only).
I think that once paintball catches on in Clovis, this place will be packed out and hopefully they will put a few teams together. |
