Special Ops--More fields, but not as geared towards tourney/speedball players.
Campbell's--I've only played there once, so I don't know enough to comment. |

It's been a few months since I've played there, so I'm a little rusty on the directions. |

I've only played at CountySports a couple of times, and haven't been back since December 2007, but this is by no means as a result of any negative experiences. Mike, the owner, keeps everything friendly, honest, and low-priced. There has only been one speedball field open during the times I played there; it was well-planned, conducive to spectators (my fiancee doesn't play), and allowed for good action.
The only real downside is that Mike has play solely on Sundays, 1100-1500. That being said, I realize that running CS is not his full-time job, and the bills have to be paid.
There are no field fees; paint is $35/case, and all-day air is $5. I don't run CO2, so I don't know what he charges for that. If the prices have changed since I have been there last, please let me know.
To summarize, low prices, good competition, friendly players/owner, and great games. I'll be there in a week or two!! |

County Paintball is the perfect outdoor field. It's free to play at, and paint is very cheap, 35 bucks a case! now, first off
Safty: if Mike, (the owner/nicest guy in the world) doesn't tell you to put your barrel condom on, one of the players will.
Fields: One xball field. nice field, even tho it rained it wasn't muddy, good sliding, and somewhat clean. nice assortment of bunkers, but no dorito's =(
Hours of operation: sorry mike, but you need to open more! i would be there everyday if you were open every day! haha but 11-3 every sunday isn't enough for me haha.
PRICES: THE BEST. Free entry, 35 bucks a case, and 5 bucks for all day fills. the owner doesn't make a profit off this field, it's just a nice guy wanting to make sure every body has fun playing paintball. true baller right there.
rules: same as everywhere.
Proshop: not a proshop but literally a warehouse. seriously. he has his online store with him, i had bought a redz pepper stick from him today and it was amazing!
staff: just him
refs: just mike,
Players: they players were incredibly good today, to good for me haha. they all had ego's....literally
i will give this field an 9 only because it's not open all the time, and the games didn't go by that quickly, i only played 6 games in 4 hours of being there. |

First an admission, I know the field owner.
HOWEVER - this is a great field for a speedball player (I'm 99.9% woodsball). It is kept in good shape, it is FREE to play there, paint must be purchased at the field but there are 3 grades of paint to choose from ranging from 35-55 a case, and at least the times that I have played there the people playing were friendly and honest.
CO2 is $2 a fill, all day air is available as well.
There are also different game styles they play, check the website for the current, but I believe it is currently Xball where players are rated against equal skill opponents - when one group is finished their round the next group takes the field, making for quick turnaround between games.
Give it a try, you can't go wrong with no field fee and reasonably priced paint and air. |

Thursday games are hopper paint only, great for the new player. A lot of people come out and play. Everybody is friendly and easy to get along with. Saturday game are 5 man tourney its full bore with nppl rules 100 point games. If you never try ed it, you should. The field is a little small with air bunkers. check out there web. site at www.countysports.com No fee to play, cheep air and paint prices.| Last edited on Sunday, December 11th, 2005 at 2:24 pm PST |

Incredible field, perfect for 3/5 man games. But possible for more. Real fun to play on, always fast pace because of the field size. Free for walk on, paint is real cheap but good quality, good air fills. Mike(owner and baller) is a real nice guy, just looking to have fun and not rip/deprive people of having fun. Thats what its all about. Good field good people, great fun. Ill be going there most likely every other weekend from now on. |

Very cool place with absolutely great prices...admission is free, paint is cheaper than places like Walmart & Sports Authority, air is cheap...again great prices.
I went up to Wash D.C. on vacation and drove to NJ to see my brother, he was not home so I had some time to kill and kill I did (good thing I traveled with my gat)
The speedball field was real sweet and the woodsball set up was a nice change of pace. I wish we had a P-Ball park in Fl that was like this (prices) and the people there are very cool |

Mike doesn't run the field to make a profit (it's free) but to give people a good place to play without paying rediculous entry fees. The field gets better all the time, each week things seem to be moved around a litte and it's usually an improvement.
The games go most Thursday nights at 5pm so if you're in south jersey make the trip and check it out. I would say we have about 20 regular players and the competition is pretty good. If you're new don't be discouraged, there are always a few new faces each week and everyone is friendly. Game formats are regular elimination and "big game" (30 mins, center flag).
If you're used to dumping loads of paint you may not like county because its hopper limit, no pods. Personally i think it's more fun this way because you can move and the lanes aren't totally locked down.
Paint prices- $40 a case for blaze, you can get other kinds if you order them in advance
Fills- $3 for air and $2 i think for co2
You can also order things from his store (www.countypaintball.com) and pick up your order at the games.
How to get here: From points north, take NJ Rt. 55 South to Rt 49. Go east on 49, it's on the left, look for the yellow sign. From the shore just get to Tuckahoe (on Rt 50) and take 49 west.
If you live far away and you cant make it to the Thursday night games, come to one of the big games. The next looks like it's Saturday Oct 9th, 2004.

If your in the area stop in this place it awesome the people are really nice the owner mike is really cool to. And its free paint is really cheap 40 a case. The fields cool to one side is open speedball and the other is like woods almost. And the way you play there is a lot of fun to its a 30 min game and the obbjective is to keep the flag in the middle of the field ur color and ever 2 mins or so u get points for how long its up and your only allowed a hopper but when you run out you can quick run out and refill same if you get shoot u can go back in. |
