Review: Pros:
Fields were good, it's a very large place and lots of different places to play. Safety was good. Price's were decent. People were personable. Refreshments were available. In the Google-free zone it felt safe enough to do whatever you needed to do. We purchased one rental of gun/goggles/tank/2 Pods for 60 bucks, and it all seemed pretty clean.

Cons:
My only real complaint is there is FAR to much time between games, and they close too early (4:00 PM). Essentially I paid 30 bucks for 4 games of paintball, I guess we did arrive a little late at 11:00. There's no reason why games can't be going on Non-Stop. Seems like they would play 2 games then take a 30 min break in between. Lots of elimination games, wish they had more scenario play... I didn't see any real restroom on site, only porta johns.

Overall:
Overall the experience was good and the fields were big enough that I will eventually return.

Review: I played here twice, once during Firestorm Crusades part 2 and once on a random friday night.

The staff there is very personable. The refs, the guys who work the proshop, and the owner are all good at what they do.

I definitely think the fields are the best I've been to. A lot of cool cover as compared to flat woods that I've seen at other fields.

The prices are good. Paint is half the price of Skirmish's (which is where I usually go), admission is reasonable.

The only place I feel the field suffers are the amenities. I had gun problems, but no one there really knew how to trouble shoot it, so I had to rent one (Tippmann Pro Carbine), and the hopper kept coming open becuase of the recoil, which screwed me up.

All in all I'd recommend this field, just try not to let your gun break while you're there.

Review: I played this field for the first time today and I have to say I had a great time. I met the owner John and he is a stand up guy, he was funny and made everyone feel comfortable whether it was your first day playing or you are a salty veteran. The fields were in good condition. I do not play speedball so I cannot comment on the speedball course. But as for the woodsball fields they were very good. They are open to walk ons and groups Sat-Sun 9-4 and Weds nights 4-9pm. You can bring your own paint which is nice. I will be coming back here many more times.

Review: First let me say that opinions are like a$$holes, everyone has one and most of them are full of sh**. I have read over the review below and would have to say that the gentleman, a term I use lightly, is really not informed about On Target's rates and policies. I am a mother of two boys that play paintball as well as my husband, my dad and myself. We play at OTP at least 3 times a month and bring a slew of friends with us. I would just like to address the guy's comments from a mother's perspective for you.
- Safety is a priority there which was the first thing that turned me onto the field. Refs are constantly reminding you of the rules and of when and where you can remove your mask and barrel bag which most men seem to forget through out the day. Some may not like the being told what to do by kids at times, but I give them credit for going out there and trying to maintain a bunch of trigger happy adults and kids alike. They are not afraid to put them selves in a crazy line of fire to check people either.
-I have never been almost run over by a quad or have my kids. I have actually watched them wait for everyone to walk pass them before going anywhere.
-Unfortunately after tons of rain the speed ball fields do get a little muddy. Especially when its winter and there is no grass because this is Jersey. My oldest son, 16, plays speedball while he's there and said they are working on putting some wood chips in or something to help absorb the water and they have just added another field that is better suited for drainage.
- Wednesday nights and Sundays are BYOP if you have your own equipment but you can save $15 off your field fee if you buy your paint there, which costs the same
in the end without having to go out and get paint before you go and if you bring your wristband back within three weeks you get $5 more off your field fee. If you register for their newsletter you'll get all of the discount pricing updates.
- They don't claim to have a pro-shop but will do their best to help you out with any issues you're having and I always try to keep the typical repair stuff with us.
- As far as the refs sitting in the pro shop and smoking, I've never seen that. They may relax outside during a twenty minute lunch break that is well deserved.
-If you get there at nine and leave around three you will get in at least 12 games, well we always do.
-If you wish to play on the speedball field and there are guys playing, they will be happy to let you join in, they have always let my son and his friends play without a problem. You just have to go over and talk to them. They also have discounted rates for speedball only passes and if you bring a wristband back in three weeks it gets you another $5 off.
-The only games I've seen reffed by the players themselves was a team practice so I'm not sure where he saw that.
-As far as the Porta-Johns go, as a woman I've never been in one that didn't smell or wasn't dirty from guys peeing where ever they feel but it's a paintball field not a mall so obviously he has a problem getting dirty or smelly and should take up another hobby.
-The refs have been making you chrono right before a game at random for months now and unfortunately it dishonest players that make the hassle necessary. We always chrono ours before we go out to save the time and aggravation!

I would recommend you check out their website, it provides tons of field pictures and accurate information that this guy didn't have!

Review: Went to the field yesterday. first i would like to say this is a great place to play. Refs are strict about safety but arent ***holes about it. the fields are big and have a good mix of speedball and woodsball so u get the best of both worlds. opens at 9am and closes at 4pm, wednesday they have night games so thats always cool.the prices are very fair compaired to other fields in Jersey and PA. paint is cheap and on sundays u can bring your own. the proshop is a bit small but they have most of what u "NEED", so this isnt a proshop to go shopping and get a bunch of useless things. Staff is great. much props to little Nemo, this kid was cool and should get a huge raise!!! People who showed up and played with my crew were ver fair. no wipers or overshooters. the place is well kept with the exception of the few speedball fields that were kinda muddy but i heard they were working on that. as far as food they had hotdogs for $1.50, sounds good to me...

i give this place a 9 out of 10 the only flaw i saw was the bathrooms were Johnny-on-the spots and if u show up after a rainy week then X ball fields were muddy. i think if they throw some woodchips on the ground of those fields it should help out big time. o yea and if u have an electric gun make sure u dont dive on the sand fields because u can really f**k up your gun that way.

Review: First thing. Best field in Jersey, maybe even on the north east (except skirmish of course). I go there 2-3 times a month through the spring summer and fall. I love going there. Just went yesterday actually. Sunday and Wednesday BYOP is the best. Always lots of people (30+ almost every time i go) They got a very wide variety of fields and if u come with a private group u get to pick what field u wanna play on. My favorites are the woods, fences, big H and the town. Cant beat there prices and if u go again and bring ur wrist band within 3 weeks u get 10$ off. REF's are awesome and real cool to talk to and know what there doing cause they are players also. The owner is great and runs everything very fairly. Of course SAFETY is key . at the beginning of play they give u a safety briefing that is mandatory. When ur at the staging area they strictly enforce the use of barrel bags and are always watching to make sure ur mask stays on when ur out in the fields and not in the dead box.

Overall 10 out of 10 and would highly recommend it especially for private parties.

All of them... OTP is hand's the best!
Review: I have been to On Target Paintball now well over 15 times. For year's I would set up trip's for small group's of local people to play paintball. We tried every single field within 50 miles of Philadelphia. OTP was referred to me after a bad experience to another local field.

My first impression of OTP was that the staff is serious about safety. That for us was an important aspect. Most of our trip's include children and new player's. The fact that they stress safety so much really impressed me. It's the one thing in our sport that can not be overlooked or preached too much.

The staff at OTP is about as helpful as it get's. John, the owner, is a great guy who takes pride in his field's and is always looking for feedback from the player's. You can tell when you are out on the field's that someone actually thought thing's through when laying them out. The food is good, not a gourmet menu, but this is a paintball field not a food court.

The field's at OTP are some of the most fun field's I have ever played. The new "Town" is something you have to try out! It is definitely always the subject on the ride to and from the field. It seem's like every time I go there the town is growing too. My two favorite field's are Big H and The Fences. I can't play on them enough!

The field fee's at OTP are on par with most other field's. The paint prices are great and that is one of the reason's I am finding it easier to recruit new player's for our trip's. The place is very affordable. The field's are also very close to the staging area. There are no 10 minute walk's from field to field. You play a lot more paintball here in a day then most other places. Rental gear is kept in great shape and I have never had a complaint from anyone.

Last, but not least is the Ref staff at OTP. BEST GROUP I HAVE EVER SEEN! They keep the pace going and are constantly switching people around to make the team's fair or more balanced. I always try to request Willy and Kevin (my two favorites) but all of them are top notch. I have seen them stop a game right in the middle and chrono both team's! One guy was shooting hot and was asked to leave. That say's volumes when you have your kid's out there learning the game. Like I said before... safety is the most important thing.

As someone who has tried almost every single field in my area, I can honestly say that On Target Paintball is the all around best place to play. If you are thinking of getting a group together, this is the place! They will cater to you and make you feel like a 10 year pro.

Review: When I arrived at the field I was surprised that it was a paintball field, it looks as if it was located at the bottom of a dried up lake. The ground wasn't dirt, but sand. The pro shop was under stocked and they seamed to be under staffed. I didn't look at the woodsball fields but the speedball field were horrid. The main field was x-ball size with nppl bunkers in a setup that looked like it was made up by a two year old. The ground was sand with small patches of dirt and crab grass. Behind almost all of the bunkers there where puddles. There prices though were reasonable and the refs seamed friendly enough. I left soon after arriving though so i cant really comment on the staff. 3 out of ten.
