Woodsball is what attracted me to the sport.
I recently had my 1st game at Off the Wall Adventures. The Pro Shop was excellent with many Markers on display. Their woodsball field was about 75 yards in length and 30 yards wide (Kinda narrow); not many obstecals either.
Then I found out about Central Florida Paintball. I was WOW'ed when I saw their 5 part woodsball field filled with obsetecals galour! I'm talking shacks, two story forts, a motorcycle, tractor tires, wall panels, huge field goal style plastic tubes everywhere! The staff was friendly and had an AIR refuel shack right there in front of the woodsball stage up area (Unlike Off the Wall Adventures, where you have to walk back to the Pro shop for fill ups). |

Pro shop was stocked with parts, accessories, and markers.
Staff was helpful, polite, layed back yet orignized.
Price: $ 15.00 all day fee w/ air ($10 bucks more for rentals: They use Spyders markers). Ball price is $45 for standard Heat brand.
Chromo: They have it and enforce using it if you have your own marker.
Woodsball fields: They have 5 areas that can either be seperated by a huge netting on steel cables or can be open for a big scenerio games etc.
Parking: You park right in front of the AIR shack, which is at the staging area for the woodsball field. Very convinient.
People: The people are very nice and easy to make friends with. Even a newbie like me.
Speedball Field: They have 3 with those huge inflatebale obstecals course.
Turn out: Woodsball field had many 9 on 9 games throught the day I went.
Rules: They constently remind you about putting on your mask, barrel cover, and that DEAD MEN DONT TALK.
Food: I didnt see any... Although I brought a small cooler.

Safety- CFP is a pretty safe field. I haven't seen many people walking around without barrel condoms on their guns, so I don't have much to say here.
Fields- They have three Xball fields and an NPPL field. All fields are set up to the latest PSP/NPPL event layouts, so if you're playing in an upcoming national event, CFP is the place to go to practice.
Hours of Operation:
Store & PSP/NPPL Fields: Sat & Sun 9am-5pm
Woodsball Fields: Wed to Fri 2pm-7pm and Sat & Sun 9am-5pm
Prices- Paint starts at $44.95 + tax per case, entry is $15.00 if you're a rec baller or $20.00 if you're there with a team.
Rules- I play on Sundays, everybody knows the rules and follows them, so I don't know what kind of safety briefings there are for new players.
Services- Place to play paintball, fix your gun, get a drink in the proshop... What more could you want?
Proshop- Very well stocked, at least five kinds of paint, they have all kinds of spare parts, upgrades, orings, Dye/Proto clothing, NXe packs, etc.
Staff- John Senior is an awesome guy, as are Mark and Alan.
Refs- Reffing is good at tournaments, on team practice days there usually aren't refs because the tournament players know the rules, and it's just practice anyways. The woodsball/rec-ball refs are top-notch from what I hear.
Players- Competition is top-notch at CFP. Includes or has included such teams as Static, Strange, CFP Factory, Jax Warriors, etc.
Facilities- REAL BATHROOMS! This is like a godsend compared to most paintball fields. They bring in extra porta-potties for the tournaments.
Food- They cook at their 5-man tournaments, and the food is pretty good. Otherwise there are at least a dozen restaurants within a ten-mile radius, fast food and sit down restaurants included. There is also a Publix close to the field, so if you want a sub or are feeding a large group, you can get food there.
Tournaments- CFP hosts the SPCS (Southern Paintball Championship Series) 5-man events, and they are well-run. The reffing is good, there is almost never a line at the fill station, plenty of good competition, and the prizes are very good.
If you want to know more about the SPCS, here's the link to their site: http://www.thespcs.com/home.htm| Last edited on Tuesday, April 17th, 2007 at 8:29 am PST |

i saw this field on their website, where all they show is their awesome x-ball field (or at least what it used to be) and was pretty exited about going while i was visiting family a couple blocks away from the field.i got there and the first thing that struck me as odd was five kids firing ACROSS the parking lot into the woods, just a little safety hazard, then i go to fill up my hpa tank, the fill station absolutely sucked, there were no gauges and it leaked constantly, blowing copper dust into my eyes at high speed. after using some eyedrops i went to the recball area, there was three fields, poorly divided, in the woods. the refs there were always either throwing paint at each other or staring at girls there, nobody was made chrono there gun, a huge problem on their tiny fields, i saw a total of one ref helping turn his friends gun up to 335! that along with their crappy paint really hurts. "well", i thought,"the x-ball field has to be its onlu redeeming quality" wrong. they didnt play the xball field once all day because they needed their grass "not torn up" for their team practice the next day, the only field they did play was their hyperball field, the worst field i have seen in my life, the games were always stacked, with the regulars, with egos, versus the noobs and people they didnt recognize. the refs were really biased, offering tips and cover to their regulars, even carrying a pod for them. the hyper ball field is easier on one side than the other because of the way the snake is situated, and guess what...the regulars got the easy side.a regular went off the field, the ref not stopping him, and went all the way around us. he shot me about 50 times in the back as i walked off, by the way, this is the guy that a ref helped him turn his gun up to 335.the ref didnt do anything because he was busy handing a pod of paint to his buddy, thats when i got really pissed. i decided to play one more game, with my gun set on 375 with tacamo paint, that stuff is as hard as a rock.i got the guy that was firing hot out off the break then proceeded to shoot him repeadedly as he walked towards me to get off,ref was looking to see who is doing it, funny,he turned a blind eye to bonus balling a second before that, then, as soon as that guy got off the field i lit the ref up, aiming for his balls, he then goes on a crusade to find out who was firing the green paint i hit him with but never found me, felling i had gotten my revenge on this crap field i left, taking one of those cool proto rental masks they have with me,(absolute accident guys,i will give it to you next time i come...to steal a nitro tank) . moral of the story is, dont go there unless your just going to steal things, 1 out of 10.

I have been playing at cfp for about a year now and it has only been getting better. Now george is running the rec ball side and he really takes care of the players and making sure everything is safe he has even worked on my gun for me.The woods area is the best in florida right now with 2 fields hyperball, and fort I believe they have 2 more fields planned and I heard rumor of future scenario games.Up front on the tournament side is john and mark 2 great guys also very helpfull with everything you could ever need mark is also one of the best gun techs around, they run a succesful tournament series that I hope to have a team in soon.overall this field has the best of everything and I look forward to many more years of playing there. |

I'm a woodsballer. I go out there every weekend with my bros and the field is great or atleast use to be but Gorge split the fields up and now there just a little boring but they are still fun. One of the worst things though are the woodsball refs. They don't do there job at all. they are really lazy and just sit around talking on the phone or throwing paintballs at each other. They are litte kids that are inexperianced. that field will just hire anybody to ref those games. I know one of the refs personally and thats my bud Drew. Drew is the only ref that actually does work out there. every one else should get FIRED. |

This was the field for my first paintball experience. The service, staff, refs, and overall environment was awesome.Weather your pro or new at the sport, your treated the same.I am now defiantly hooked on paintball.I don't play speed ball, but there fields are very well taken care of. And there tournament's are awesome to watch. They do have a woods ball area, with a fort. And we have had some terrific and fun games there, short on players,no Pb,we had some excellent competition from some of the young men that work there. There prices are good ,but that part is only good if the environment is,and they are.I take my young grandchildren there because Safety is #1 priority there . And no matter what ? ,problems,or concerns you have, they do whatever they can to help you.I highly recommend central Florida paintball field.| Last edited on Monday, August 14th, 2006 at 10:54 pm PST |

Great fields.. I Played there for the Fall CFP Series 2nd event, the reffing was wonderful, the games were played without controversy, and the refs kept the games going without long waits inbetween games. This is one of the nicest paintball facilities I have ever been to in my many years of tournament play / practice. They have three x-ball fields kept in excellent condition. It was completely worth the 6 and a half our drive for the day of tournament play at John Smith Senior's fields, and I would make that drive again anytime. |

The place is huge and they have a nice building. The fields are great. They have woods which has a hyperball field and a fort (attack and defend). They have cool airball too. When I went they didn't have all of the X Ball bunkers inflated and the X wasn't even up all the way. The Dye field they put up later on and I didn't get to play on :( They have good prices and their refs are okay. One didn't pay attention towards the beginning but he was good later on. The one thing that kinda bugged me was how the owners and employees were talking. They were cussin alot when I was there. Anyways this field is good to play at for team practices cuz of all the teams that show up. | Last edited on Saturday, July 22nd, 2006 at 8:52 pm PST |

This place is amazing. The fields are awesome and the refs arent a$$holes. They will gladly help out the noobs and help out some of the younger teams. Ive played 2 tournaments here and they are set up pretty well. Field setups are awesome. I give this place a 10/10 so if you have the chance, check this place out| Last edited on Wednesday, April 19th, 2006 at 12:38 pm PST |
