This field is SMALL, like really small. You can run from end to end of the field in about 5 seconds, no joke. There are exactly 11 bunkers, and you can really only use 4 of em, you basically snap shoot end to end of the field without having to arc the ball even through the field limit is 220fps way lower than most indoor field limits of 260fps.
The owner there is nice, he gave me a free ball latch for my 98custom since i lost mine, and because of the ball latch missing it was double firing, i didnt really want to take it apart so he gave me a rental for free.
However the field is both small, and when i was there the floor was so soaked with paint we couldnt run, more like walk slowly, almost like walking on ice. there was so much paint you could take 2 steps and slide the other 10 feet to the bunker.
The place is dead, but my and my friends went on monday night since PSI wasnt open, there was nobody there besides me and my 3 friends.
because i didnt have my ball latch the guy put it in for me while i was playing, but he never gave me back my hopper so there goes another 8 bucks for a new one.
Overall a decent field, but if you have more than 2 or 3 people per team theres nowhere to move and its dark even with day lights on, and glow in the dark just blows, you cant see anything and you might as well just spray and pray.
Go to PSI, you'll have a much better time. |

Well, after arduous planning of taking a group out to their outdoor field, it rained.
So the 25+ of us went indoors, and had a decent time of it.
The games were fast, and the ref was nice, with a good combination of lienency, yet still being stern towards people excessively shooting those already hit, crack shooting, and such.
The field itself is pathetically tiny, we had such a large group we had 7v7 games as the smallest ones we had, and they were nothing more then oversized standoffs, with snap shooting and nothing more, no movement or anything.
They also pulled a fast one on me. Because we had asked to go outdoors first, we planned on taking advantage of their 25+ people and free rentals. We then had planned to just buy many cases of paint, to save even more money. Well that didnt happen, he instead demanded that everyone pay $35 for 500 paintballs, as opposed to letting us buy paint by the case. We bought extra paint in cases, sure, but a few people hadn't brought $35, only $30, and that caused alot of confusion.
Finally- as I pointed out in my dispute previously, one walk on was allowed to bring a gun in and not have it chrono'd. It proceeded to excessively injure two people, and knocked me, a 270 pound football lineman, off my feet. |

Owner says it's 6,000 square feet. The arena feels very small.
Sup'air bunkers.
Good refs. Kept the action going and very safety conscious.
Lots of people. Good venue for a walk-on. You should have other people to play with. We didn't have a reservation.
Small field kept the action fast. Games averaged about 2 minutes. We played over ten games in the span of a couple of hours.
Once I saw the field, I had misgivings, but it was actually a hell of a lot of fun. The quick games gave you a chance to catch your breath.
Almost all the players were teenagers or younger, with little or no experience. My buddy and I were definitely the most experienced there.
Basically, it's a fun place if you're by yourself, it's raining outside, none of your friends want to go in the woods, and you REALLY want an afternoon of paintball. I had a hell of a lot of fun, but I wouldn't organize an outing there with my paintball buddies.
We paid C$50 for 500 rounds of paint and one 98C rental. Owner let me use my Spyder MR1. |

Ive played and rented at other paintball fields and by far OPB had the best rentals and best staff. Since then Ive even bought my own equipement and strickly play at OPB. They have sweet deals and they have recently started a membership that only cost 60$ and you can buy everything at wholesale price!!!! Great place to play I recommend it! |

I have played at 2 fields in Ottawa, Ottawa Paintball and Paint Storm. While Paint Storm IS bigger, I didn't like having more than 1 group there. They also kicked one of my friends out for forgetting to put his barrel sleeve on ONCE. |

I was talking to the owner 2 weeks ago (when I last went) and he mentioned he was moving to a bigger location close to his current location (Beacon Hill Mall). While it is $35 entry fee, this only applies if you need a marker and a mask and it is $5 for 100 paintballs (as fore mentioned). At Paint Storm it is a $40 entry fee and $10 for 100 paintballs, and the price reduces to $25 entry and $5 for 100, $20 for 500 when you have a minimum of 12 people going.
There are better ones out there, but if you're looking for a fun, friendly atmosphere where the staff are very nice and easy going (we even got one ref to take action shots of the gang playing) this ranks up there with the best. |

The feild is the smallest indoor possibly in Canada and is definately not the best. I'd be willing to bet besides "Phil" has never played at another feild in Ontario but there are alot bigger and better. Paintstorm is much bigger go to both the websites and look for yourself....the guy below does'nt know what hes talking about. It costs $35 for rental equipment at Ottawa Paintball. Paintstorms techs are more qualified and experienced then anyone in the Ottawa area. Ottawa paintball seems to have a good outdoor feild and prices going tho I must say that. I'm not flaming this feild but psi vs. Opb is no contest....I'm sorry. Better players, better prices, better techs, and better feild. I gave it a 5 because it is an average feild. |

now, this is probably the cheapest place to play paintball in ottawa (from what i'v seen) it only costs 5$/100 paintballs and for sumone who has limited money like me, thats nice, however the field is a little bit too small.i mean, you look up and a guy is at the other end...you look up and the barrel of his gun is touching your mask, i mean in all honesty the field is just too small to be playing paintball on...this is only one downfall of ottawa paintball however. the staff are VERY nice, they give u playing tips, will fix and even lend broken or forgotten equipment. the owner is nice, and the attached arcade is kinda neat. all in all ottawa paintball is a good place for an intermediate player. good prices, good service. |

not bad for new experience ( glow in the dark ), perfect for kids and families, we had lots of fun and the staff is very kind, had problem with my cocker and the owner fix it no charge Wow you don't see that all the time as for prices a thought it was not bad 25.00$ for 2 hours and 5.00$/100 paintballs you don't see that any were in Ottawa, at psi it is 10.00$/100 and up. if you rent the place it's for you only not like other place i played, i sent my kid there for is birthday and now is bugging me all the time to go back ARCADE and PAINTBALL what a match |
