I really liked this field. I was the only player for a while and the staff was super cool. A birthday party of 12-13 year olds showed up after a while and I got to play with them, plus a couple other walk ons. My personal favorite was the fort on fort attack and defend. One of the most fun I have ever had playing paintball. I plan to go out there very soon in the future. |

Didn't know wha to expect with a horrible weather forecast for this scenario "Unreal Tournament." Luckily, not a drop and the sun broke thrugh. Unfortunately the turn out was about 26 or so. I was wondering how everything would go down with such a low turnout. Upon entering the proshop me and my brother discovered that due to the low turnout the owner was going to refund us the cost and charge only 20 bucks and discount the paint, something I would've never expected but was very pleased to find out. The teams were pretty evenly selected, me and my brother played with a scenario team named, "Terror Squad.'
The field selected was the perfect size, nice and woody. Action was fast-paced and well managed. True to Unreal Tournament, there were flag stations for points and base flags which gave you mission style objectives. The first game seemed like it went on forever and I was gald to finally make it to lunch, a huge pizza buffet. The second half was just as wearing.
For a low turnout the organization and efforts by Sudden Impact still maintained a "scenario" feel which was a big plus.
The owner was very service oriented and a fun guy. He made everyone feel welcome and appreciated. Though we only played on one field all day the place was huge with many types of fields. We drove trucks to the field to give you an idea of how big the place was. The owner would run people to the shop and back if they needed air refills or anything. I will definately watch for more scenarios out thre again, and can't wait.
Staff was happy to bump you up an extra 1000 psi after chrono and gun testing unlike some places. I did see the owner repairin somebody's electro gun for free like it wasn't anything, right there.
***Safety - A+ (enforced safety rules politely and friendly)
***Fields - A+ (huge 15 acres of everything you could want, woods, villages, towers, ravines, even speedball courses)
***hours of operation - A+ (owner would've let us play another round if we had wanted to but most people were dead, no certain closing time!)
***prices - A+ (my brother and I left with 90 bucks in our pockets from refunding us late registartion and discounting paint due to low turnout)
***rules - A+ (kept the feel of the game a total scenario and true to an Unreal tournament feel.)
***services - A+ (tanks were never filled to anyhting but the max, proshop had any extras you could want, sinks, misters, even showers if you wanted!)
***proshop - A+ (prices on gear and paint were not a ripoff, actually a bargain! Nice A/C)
***staff - A+ (with a smile and "smll-town courtesy" is the feel throughout the day. Owner likes to talk with people more than he likes to charge them)
***refs - A (good refs, one was hilarious all day (the long-haired guy) Did their job and knew the rules for refs. Towards the very end of the last game some positions were a little compramised on both sides but it didn't help either side.)
***players - A (players were good and didn't cheat as far as I saw. There were good personalities and no real brovado)
***facities - A+ (couldn't want or need anything else)
***food - A+ (owner picked up a grip of pizzas and it was all you could eat and invited everyone to go eat Chinese for dinner on him!)
THAT'S RIGHT! THE OWNER OFFERED EVRYONE TO GO EAT CHINESE AFTER THE GAME AND IT WAS ALL ON HIM!!!
How could I not give this field the best rating, there was nothing left to be desired and we left with a great appreciation for this field! Nobody could ever be disappointe out there, that is how every field shoud strive to be. |

I just played for the first time ever and chose this field based on feedback from a bunch of other more seasoned players. True to their reputation, this field was tons of fun! The owner and refs were really cool, laid back, and pretty much let us do our thing as long as it was safe. The facilities and fields were much nicer than I would have imagined too. They had bathrooms, showers, misters, air conditioned shop, and several different courses. We're all totally hooked now and plan on going out regularly! |

I''ve been going to the field for two years and love it. Owner and staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The fields range from two story fortresses to speedball. Last year the field started to run scenario games. They have some of the best scenario fields in Texas. The most famous is the Beach Landing. They have several pictures of it and all the other fields on there website. The refs and staff at the scenario games a top rate, the best around. The owner adds new stuff to every event. The field currently has plenty of room to camp, pro shop, hot showers, misters, and even had an air conditioned dead box at the last event (Unreal Tournament)! They also have a bonfire, Music and DJ, and a free dinner at each event. The crowd is usually very friendly. Most of the guys have played the previous events so you tend to make friends with everyone very quickly. I have since moved away from the area, but always come back for all the events (I haven't missed one yet, and don't plan too). Great field, wonderful staff and refs, I would recommend it to anyone and everyone.| Last edited on Sunday, June 26th, 2005 at 6:10 pm PST |

I know of a few, but haven't played them. Just do a ZIP code search to find them. |

Great variety of courses, the equipment (Tippmann custom 98s) worked very well, the crowd was varied but nice. This was a Saturday in March, 2005 by the way. The ref seemed a bit scatterbrained, but it wasn't really a problem since everyone seemed to police themselves. Overall, just a great first experience. I'd highly recommend it. |

About a dozen fields in central Texas from Austin to DFW. This field compares favorably to Forney field and Fun on the Run. |

Has several fields that are different from what I have seen elsewhere. Staff is very friendly and makes efforts to make play enjoyable for everyone. I played a big game there and plan to be at the Anzio game. I encourage you to try this game whether you have a little or a lot of experience with paintball or scenarios.
Unfortunately, because of its location this field is a well kept secret to most paintball players. |

This paintball field is fun to play on. There are many fields - The Beach, Valhalla, Iron Cross, etc. I recently played a weekend long scenario game (Task force1 vs. Cartel) it was a blast. Though the fields are great, what really makes this field great is the owner. He is nice, believes in customer service, and is a stickler for safety. I recommend this field to anyone who wants to have fun. |
