Review: Just been there for the first time great staff, amazing area's, very professional

Started off got there and then got my equipment, brief etc.

first round convoy field : good field with good bunkers

second round the ridge :Great field with stream through the middle and 3 bridges. Good for Rambos.

Lunch : Nice burger lunch.

Third round zulu : a bit closed off but otherwise very good.

Fourth round D-day :Nice field 1 team running up the hill to get 3 flags not so good as a last round though as you need ammo.

Review: First off I am Reviewing this site from a Walkon player point of view

safety
UKPSF Accredited Venue.
They are very safe! No dry fire in the base-camp. Barrel socks on at all times. Masks on if you are not in the base-camp. All the usual rules that should be followed by a safe respectable paintball site.

fields

None of the fields are too small or even small for that matter, they are all quite large.

Dodge City (10 out of 10) *One of my favourite fields*
A "Cowboy town" complete with Jail, Blacksmiths, Church, Bank and Saloon, very fun to play in and not many bushes to get in your way, less of a woodball game.

Zulu (9 out of 10) *My favourite field*
Large log cabin in the middle of the field with hay bails, large trees and a couple of other objects to hide behind, with some thick bushes and trees on one side for the woodball players.

Jungle (7 out of 10)
Dense Jungle with visibility down to 3 feet at some places, hard to know where your players are, a classic for the sneaky player. Very much a woodball field. I dont like it because im not a fan of all the bushes ect.

Convoy (8 out of 10)
Trucks, platforms and Barrels with a few wooden barricades and thick trees and bushes at either end of the field (at both start points). Its all about the flanks.

Sup'Air/Air Ball/Speed ball. (8 out of 10) *One of my favourite fields*
They have it up most walkon events and they do pump it up when you play on it. It is a little too small for 15 on 15 games though, it gets a little cramped.

The Ridge (8 out of 10)
Ridge really suits this field, there is a stream flowing through the middle of this field with a ridge running along one of its banks creating a natural barricade and both teams starting both sides of the stream. A main bridge across the stream and then a couple of smaller ones further away.

Chemical Ally (9 out of 10) *One of my favourite fields*
Lots of trees and wooden barricades. Again a stream running through the field with both teams starting both sides of it. 3 Large "bases" means that you push forward fast and then push on from there meter by meter.

Hours of Operation
Walkon is every second Sunday of every month.

prices
£60 for the day including 2000 good quality paintballs (£5 discount if you are a NPC member)

rules
Gentleman's agreement of semi Automatic only.

staff
The staff are a good laugh and make the day more fun but if there is any funny business then they are quick to act on it.

players
The Players are mostly from 20 onwards, the older generation but are not grumpy in anyway :) Welcome new faces with warmth.

facilities
They have on-site toilets and covered seats and tables.

food
Burger, tea coffee and a small snack shop selling chocolate, crisps and drinks.

All in all a very good site and the site that made me want to play paintball more!
