I have been playing at Skirmish Edinburgh for a good few years now and decided to try the Glasgow site for a change. The site is situated in woodland and is a great area to play in. As with the Edinburgh site i was able to use my own Marker which was crono'd on site ( a good idea i thought ). The games were good to play especialy the village game which was great!! The staff were friendly and again helpfull, Always making sure that games are played fairly ( a good thing for rec ballers with there own kit lol ).
The paint was priced reasonably as expected for a Skirmish site, not that i am biased but what other sites in scotland let you use your own kit the only two i have found are the Edinburgh and Glasgow Skirmish sites.
The down time between each game was about 5 - 8 mins which wasn't bad.
As i have been playing at Edinburgh a lot i have got quite friendly with some of the marshals and have been told that they are going to revamp both sites over the winter. Fotunatley for me they are keeping the Delta Force game at Edinburgh and the village game at Glasgow which are the best games i have played in a long time. Anyway i'm going on a bit hope to some more good players out on the sites over the summer.
A great Site for those with and without experience. Good games, good staff, good kit. The site itself has been set up with a village, a netted maze and other themed games zones, but the village is definately my favourite. The attacking team starts at the top of the hill while the defending team remains in the village defending the hostage.
I have played at other Skirmish sites throughout the UK and I feel this site is by far one of the best run and organised in the UK.
