I have played at this field twice now, and i will say it is the very best field EVER! If you get a chance you should defiantly come down to play. They have so many aspects of a great field , like the best and coolest owners in the world,, the best and friendliest players around and a top notch field.
Ownership-Chuck and Ricky are the kind of guys that will bend over backwords for you to have a good day of play, as soon as i got there for the first time chuck came up shook my hand introduced me to a couple ppl showed me how it went, and got me out in a game. This and if you evr have a problem in paintball he is the man to ask, just sittin aorund listenin to his storys are great.
Players-I can not stress how good these guys are, i only hope to get as good as these guys you get on the field with them they will shoot you up and as soon as you get off they will tell you how you oculd do better in the nicest way in the world. And they can ball let me tell you the first day i went up there i hadnt watched a game and as soon as they said go my eyes got as big as a baseball, so if your lookin for some compitition WKYP is the place to go. |

there is shooters, they arent that bad, except the refs suck, the paint is overpriced, and the fields dont change very often, oh and the calibre of play there isnt relly worth the money it costs to gog a bunch of n00bs running around with tippmans, they are more of a beginner field I would think.
Roosters is a great field, run at little to no profit awesome owner and great guys that play there. Paint is cheap as well and Rooster the owner is a great guy |

They have one field, its an airball field. Now that might not seem like much but the level of competition there on a day to day basis is unsurpassed in our area. This is the closest you are going to get to playing with really high level players anywhere around here.
Now they only have one field but its set up really awesome, its really put together well and its a really safe place to play with netting all around cold drinks, and reasonably priced paint.
The owners Ricky Tabers and Chuck Mayo are 2 really great guys who put the field together as a way for paintball in the WKY to grow and flourish, and making money is not the top priority of the field, a high level of safe competition , and a really aggressive style of paintball are.
If you can find a way to get to the field you will enjoy your experience, I can attest to that as I am the biggest A$$ is WKY and I can still play there LOL and even have a good time.
You should really go out to WKY Paintball and see what reall paintball is all about.

After reading Front and FE posts, there is really little left to be said. The field has the nicest playing surface you'll find. The owners are great people, not only in paintball, but in every aspect. You will learn more about the game and paintball in general than probably anywhere else you go. Along with the sky cam, the players talk about the games and give constructive criticism to all who want to learn.
Having coach many sports, at many levels, this place and these people are what TEAM and FAMILY are all about. And the best thing about it is, all you have to do is show up, show that you want to learn the game, respect the game and the other players, and your in! Simple as that.
Tech support is second to none. There are very few problems that can't be fixed or at least discovered ,so they can be fixed, if the proper parts aren't readily available. The owner(s) have a vast knowledge of cocker(event he finicky Sandridge), shocker, impys, matrix, timmys, you name it either they or someone there will know something, if not everything about it AND will see that it is fixed, if at all possible. Even if it means missing a game or two.
Really I could type all day about it, but the experience is so much sweeter that words could ever make it. So next time your going to be in the area, call or check the website forum to see how many peeps will be there and come prepared to have a blast, learn and leave, only wanting to come back for more the next weekend.| Last edited on Friday, July 16th, 2004 at 6:34 am PST |

All I can say is wow. This is one of the best fields I have ever played at.
They have adrenaline games airball field along with a net and skycam.
They have great prices on paint and air. (10 bucks get you air all day to 4500)
The owner is nice and has been on both sides of the fence (player/owner) and understand the cost of the sport.
He is always looking for new ideas to add to the field.
The other players are friendly and more than happy to help out.
Not to forget they have Nxl, psp, and Nppl players there weekly

This is the best field I have ever played at, and I really dont know where to start.
The owner is amazing. Definantly one of the coolest guys you will ever meet, has an infinite supply of paintball knowledge, and really truely cares about the players and the sport.
The fields are awesome. Since its a tournament complex the airball fields are always setup to maximize play, and they are changed every time you play so there is no home team advantage. They are fully netted with manicured grass, and there are several more fields in the making.
The rec area is super cool too, with plenty of trees for shade, good chronos, and a close and convenient air station (fills to 4500 EVERYTIME) and compressor.
Prices are great. 10 bucks entry includes all day air. Paint is superb and ranges in price (its always a good price though). The paint is always fresh and top quality.
Competition is the best you can get. This is where all of the tourney ballers in the area play at. There are several practices each month with players and teams from PSP, NPPL, NXL, as well as several up and coming teams and players.
Extras: There are also "little" things that make the WKY experience so awesome. They have this "arial cam" which is a little helicopter with a camera, operated by remote control, that has live feed so that players can watch the games. So like if the operator sees a runthru on the oposite tape start to happen; in an instant he can pilot the chopper over there and follow behind the player as he goes on a death run. Now how crunk is that?
This place is a hotspot for ballers and just by playing here against other hardcore ballers you will up your game tremendously. I highly recomend this field, I give it a 10 for everything. And on top of it all it is the most friendly field I've ever been to, you come here and you are treated like family. |
