i went to back creek about 8 months ago with my church group. You would think that they would treat us better or something, but they didnt. Ummmm, ok . it started out with two or 3 picnic tables for staging, and 2 kids took up 2 of them with their fancy stuff. So the game started and we were all ok with playing6 0n 6 on a 5-man course. Then, they split up teams and it was 2 A-5's and 4 98 customs against 3 A-5's 2 DM6's, and a 98 custom. We lost miserably for 4 games, then we all went to woodsball because we are all country boys(thus, the tippmans.) It started to sprinkle and one of the dyes stopped working, so the field was nice and let him rent a 98 custom.. We were playing on a very thick wooded field, and i was against 4 of them. I popped up and shot one of them he told his friends where i was, and unloaded on me!.they all just started shooting from across the field and everything. Then i realized that THERE WERE NO REFS ALL DAY!, EVEN THOUGH WE WERE A PRIVATE PARTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!i was really mad i hated the experience of backcreek.
Later we played on a on field though, which was all spools. I shot the guy that shot me . and i got him where it counts too ! dont go to backcreek unless you are desperate. |

I called the field office and asked about the field for younger kids playing and the guy I talked to said that it was a good field for kids, so my friend and I decided to try it out. We have 4 kids, 2 10 yr. olds and 2 12 yr. olds, their safety is our first priority. We arrived at the field at 12:45pm. went into the pro shop and paid the field fees and bought paintball. On the phone we where told we had to use their paint but we notice almost everyone there had their own paint. The speedball course where just being blown up when we arrived so we decide to go to the woods course. We walked down and we started playing after standing for 25 min. and when the teams were split up they were very unfair and lop sided. We were there for 3 hours and only played 3 games. There were no one around for safety and no refs. The players there did what they wanted. they shot there markers in the barrel plug areas and during the game, people that got shot would leave then return later in the game. The field is nice but we will not return until they decide to put safety first. There prices where good but the owners need to stress safety for their customers and for themself. |

Best place to go. great customer service... great.., safe place too play refs are nice, and they have a nice little pro shop with boblongs, angels, egos, alot of smartparts they also have much more kinds of guns, one of the best thing about is still the customer service, but also the days their open, in the summer they are open 6 days a week i belive, and also fall, and spring days. their speedball and xball course are great... but also their woods, creek, and village are also very fun to play in. i recomend this field too anybody |

a friend and i, both long time players, had first gone to 1 shot and met some very nice people who were just finishing up and re directed us to back creek.
back creek paintball is probably one of the least professional fields i have been to in a long time, and i have been playing since '96. the whole time i was there i only saw one person wearing anything that labeled him as a referee, and he was not even on the field. the staff was not interested enough to even notice us when we came in to the stagnant trailer that was the "pro shop." we were told that there might be some people down by the woods and to go play there. when we showed up, a whole group of newbies was just finishing... WHITHOUT A REF. they were heading back up to the speedball area so my freind and i did an unreffed one on one. figureing this was not a good idea, we went back up to the speedball, where we got in on two more games that were reffed by random spectators. they may have been employees but who knows.
i will say this, thier prices were good and the fields were a little above average. however, the rampant safey issues noted by myself, a long time player and my friend, an avid player AND a naval saftey officer, have promted me to not return unless the saftey issues change. amazingly, this is not the WORST field i've been to so i give it a two. |

i joined this sight soley to give a report of this field...first and foremost i want to inform everyone that this has to be the most unsafe and unorganized field i have ever been to. two of my friends and i went there to play at 11:30am and played 3 games by 3:30. theres was absolutely no referees anywhere in the woodsball fields, no one to even organize games, no one to check to make sure that people were wearing their masks or that people were using barrell plugs or barrell bags. people were just walking around outside the game fencing shooting their guns in any direction. I went to fill up my tanks and watched a 2 on 2 game start in the airball fields with someone who i guess worked there start the game and didnt even realize that on of the kids on one team had his mask up. i had to yell at the kid after he moved two bunkers up to put his mask on. its places like this that allow rookies to get severely injured and to give paintball a bad name. this field has some potential but as for my friends and i, we will never again go to back creek and will inform as many people as we can as to how unsafe that place is... play smart, play safe... play longer |

great. The best field i ever played on. they have many fields my favorite is the creek, or the village. With both you can count on a lot of fun, speed and x ball fields are great. also great beacsue open weekly closed mondays. they have a great proshop for how small it is, they got angels, bob longs. evil, smartparts markers, they also always have air. n2 or co2. You can always count on people being their on weekends, 50 on 50 games are just great, ( no worry their you can use all 3 woods courses together.) best place ever ! ! I i guarntee nothing like oneshot, romans, or wiseguys. tHIS IS A PERFECT 10. ALSO THE CREEK IS ASWOME ON HOT SUMMER DAYS. |

Their air ball fields are great to play on. Their staff are always willing to help. They did get constant air so now it's great to play if you use compressed air. I had asked them about some parts I wanted to purchase. They told me they didn't have the parts instock. They called another pro shop (Outback Paintball - Williamsport, MD) to see if they had the part in stock. I though it was really awesome how they tried to find the parts I needed and even called another pro shop to get it for me. I thought it was great how Backcreek and Outback works together to help customers out without getting caught up in competition.| Last edited on Monday, December 12th, 2005 at 6:30 pm PST |

Back creeek was a fun course has lots of variety and the owners are really nice if somthin goes wrong with your gun like for instance my bko (works when it wants to) and they fix it . for free unless they put parts in it. Paint isnt real expensive being that they have x ball paint for 38 a case i think. And the x ball field is awsome so is the creek sourse. I give bc a 10/10 for being cheap and customer friendly |

Back Creek Paintball is a place really to go out and have a good time. If you are a woods baller, this is definately your place. With many different setups to offer, BC has your game. They have creek ball for those hot summer days you feel like taking a dip while playing, a couple straight woods ball courses, and a new for the '05 season village setup. The guys at BC really do put a lot of time into their fields and their customers. If speedball is your thing, they have a great X-Ball field set up right now with more bunkers on the way. They have an old sup'air field that is in the works of being put back up. With many other plans for the field, why not come out and check them out? They also have an on site proshop filled with goodies. If they don't have what you're looking for, they will order it for you. I give this field a 10 because of the effort put into the game by these guys. There aren't many fields that make you feel as welcome as they do. I highly recommend to anyone that they atleast give BC a try. We'll see you at the field! |

I first went to Back Creek, about a year ago, and that is the only place i have gone since. Zeke and the guys up there are really helpful, and they have great prices on the merchandise in their pro - shop. They also sell used guns, and take trade - ins. They have an airball field , an Xball field, and I believe they have 3 woods courses, though I have only played on two of them. The one course is all in the woods and its on a hill which provides more of a challenge. The bunkers are strategically placed to allow for the best shooting advantages possible. The other woods course is a flat piece divided by a creek running through it. Each side is accessible to the other by way of a bridge. Although their current bridge is having some trouble staying fastened when it gets windy, they are thinking of putting in a suspension bridge next spring. Also they plan to add a village course and a castle. Overall Back Creek Paintball is an awesome place to play, they are very affordable, and they will answer any questions you have about paintball. - Jordan Corbett| Last edited on Tuesday, December 7th, 2004 at 3:50 pm PST |
