This field has closed. They are becoming a laser tag facility. They were bought out by another buisness. I have recieved this information from an employe of the facility. Do nt bother calling, noone currently works there. To few words. To few words. To few words. To few words. To few words. To few words. To few words. |

It'd be easier if those fools at Operation would answer their phone! |

How does this field expect to operate if their website is over 1 yr old, no one answers their phone, no one returns calls and there is no email contact. Does a legitimate field really not answer their phones on a Saturday? As far as I am concerned, a field that has horrible communication can't be a good field or even a decent one.
I'd go to this field if I didn't have to drive 45 minutes to find out they're closed! I don't even know if they're still open. Their voicemail is full and phone calls are never returned. It's been over 9 days with no call back. Their message claims Operation Paintball has changed ownership to a nonexistent company they named "Bravo International Gaming." That company doesn't even exist! Google it. Yahoo! it, search and search and you'll find nothing. (If I'm wrong, let me know b/c I'm already pissed that I can't get a hold of these fools.)
Game over. I'm out. |

Ok so i went there today and wow it was a really bad day, usually there pretty good but today they were soooo bad. The refs were being ***holes, they didnt wanna do anything and were being stupid. There only good field was outdoors which was being fixed the whole day, so we had to play inside which was sooo small area. After they finished the field fixing, me and my 2 friends set up the field and one of the refs came up and was like, ok you didnt have permision to do this, you have to have asked us first, and like they didnt even start playing until we left and used our firled setup, the refs were idiots, the proshop was full of lazy people and the facility was wet, they only have a soda vending machine and a guy that comes that sells 5 dollar pizzas, i really had a bad day |

-the fields are way too tiny
-the refs dont do anything but watch. surrender rule and other rules explained in the video you must watch are not enforced
-i dont know about prices because it was a birthday party
- i dont remember what kind of paint but it seemed pretty good.
-fields are some kind of turf and are VERY slippery which i think is quite dangerous. |

OP is a great place to play air ball. there are two paintball fields, the 3rd is air soft, one big one that most people play on is outdoors the other is small and indoor. the hours are great and their open on Fridays as well as sat and sun. the safety is good they don't have anyone enforcing the crono but it didn't bother me. the prices are great compared to other fields. $54 for a case of paint and everything else is included w/ that, all day air and free hpa rental. everyone is very nice, staff and costumers.the proshop has everything you need but I would go online for good prices.there are one or two refs on duty. be aware of this 9 year old with a dye gun he will sneak up on anyone, pick him! they have a taco truck that comes by for food and the have pizza or a BBQ. I give this field a 10 b/c I had a great time and nothing is wrong with this place. |

This is one of the coolest fields I've been to and still go to.The refs/staff are cool and help you very much(also because im on the team,Old School Hustle, aka OSH and my mom knows John who works there from when they were kids,anyways...),cool proshop and if they don't know how to fix a particular gun they will learn how to sooner or later, but they usually know how to fix every gun that needs help. The safety/rules there is pretty standard, barrel plugs on at all time outside of play field, helmet on at all times on play field, standard stuff. The players there are all cool and maybe once every month there is about maybe 2 jackarses who are trigger happy and just shoot the doo doo out of you.Over all this is one of the better places I've been to.

Sunol Paintball - Much larger fields, larger variety of players, differing types of bunkers. However, this was 3 years ago, and I have not been there since. A few questionable players, but what place doesn't have those? (This is not saying Sunol is a better feild, its just more open. They need serious attention to operations and need to change vendors to cut prices.) |

Google Maps are way better than Mapquest. |

Saftey: Was never asked to chrono my gun, even though I was shooting 240, many players were shooting hot, and the fact that its almost always close combat, doesnt help. Mask enforcement is there, but laughable.
Fields: Honestly, the pictures are very deceiving, the fields being as small as they are. Indoor field is about 3-4 car lengths long, 7-8 wide. Out door field is maybe 2 cars wide, and 8 cars long. Rumors of a larger field are circulating, we'll have to see.
Hours: Don't arrive at open. Give it an hour or 2 before you show up if you want action as you arrive.
Prices: Good prices, fair paint prices.
Rules: Field Paint Only, Draxxus Rec-Sport usually. Barrel velocity isn't posted, but the the refs there weren't paying too much attention to the walk on's chrono, and thats all I have to say about that.
Referee: Nice people, more announcers than refs. All stoners.
Proshop/Service/Facilites/Food: As far as a store goes this place is pretty good. But if youre going to be buying paintball guns and what not from a store, more power to you. (FYI, internet is cheaper). The facilities could use a bit of love, old spindles as tables, but that seems to be the norm. I hear they have a real bathroom, but I never checked it out. No food here, except for candy.
My biggest problem with this field is the field size. Way too small to have a game last longer than 2 minutes. It is tucked away, so expect to drive up and down the street a couple of times. If they introduced a larger field, Id play here again, but until then, I dont plan on playing here. It's pass the Air-base and the mall.
4/10

The place is very secluded in the industrial district of Hayward and the closest thing to my house. The first thing i noticed was how friendly teh staff was. They know a huge amount about paintball and can fix about any gun. They're relaly good guys that just like to have a good time. They have real bathrooms. no portopotties. Ive never had to go but ive heard they're nice.
The fields are pretty good as well. They favor agressive people because you can run through incredibly easy. They have two fields and i think that they are layed out pretty good. They have good turf and it doesnt hurt to slide on either field. i prefer the outdoor because the indoor is difficult to see due to lighting.
They run private parties and at times they have 2 at once and cuz im a walk on i ahve to wait for hella days.
The refs are very fair and help you if your a newb.
Its 55 for a case of paint, admission, and all day air. They also rent you a compressed air tank which is a great upgrade over co2

Awesome place!
this will be the field that i will be attending from now on, very nice players! staff was excellent! customer service goes a long way in my book and they definately delivered. the fields were small but that just promotes faster games. the day that i went there were a lot of private games ( on Friday around noonish) and we waited for quite a bit. one of the refs saw me and 2 of my other friends hangin out for awhile and came over and asked if we wanted to squeeze in a few 2on1 games so we could warm up. We played on the indoor for a few rounds ( its pretty slippery in there) and then came out to play on the outdoor with a few other walk ons. overall a very good experience, very helpful staff and awesome field, even though they chrono you in at 265, i didn't use my flatline because i didn't think it would've performed as well. they let you borrow Nitro tanks for free and the price is great! pay for field paint and you get free admission and free gas fills! we stayed about 5 hours and got in over 10+games .i would rate it a 9.5 out of 10 , i deducted .5 because the waiting area was dirty ( so sue me , i'm a picky consumer) . they also let you play with R/T !!| Last edited on Sunday, June 18th, 2006 at 2:17 pm PST |
