This field has obviously changed for the best. They do have a very nice hyperball field and a huge speedball field. The sup'air is really nice. The owner is great and will bend over backwards to make sure you have a good day of play. The refs are great. We have been to one tourney there this year and it was really fun. The refs were all over the field and did a good job. They have a high pressure fill station in the office that fills up to 4500psi wich is cool. This field may have at one time been below par but in is growing fast and getting great. Give them another shot and visit there new location, I think you will be happy now.| Last edited on Wednesday, June 6th, 2007 at 8:43 am PST |

one shot is a really nice place to play, the owners are friendly, the prices are average, and although they only have 3 fields the ones they do have are nice. First the sup air field is a great place to play because the bunkers are short and skinny which gives you a challenge. There hyper pipe/air ball field is REALLY nice, big bunkers, big snake, very fun to play. Lastly they have a scenario field, I personally don't like it because im a speedballer and is to long, but would be great fun for weekend groups to come and play on. There is a castle at each end and many, many bunkers made out of wire spools, skids, old doors, and other things. The proshop is nice, its close to all the fields, heated and A/C, with rentals, CO2 refills and on site compressed air. They don't have many guns on the wall but will order anything that you want. |

I think that some clarification is in order here. The last person who posted a review (punisherviking) obviously didn't write their review for the good of the field or other players. So I will do the professional thing and write a more appropriate review.
1 Shot Paintball moved earlier this year so the field in question is no longer there. The old field was a small speedball field that had the 'EZ-Bunker' system on it. I agree that it wasn't the ideal style to play on but I give the guys credit for trying something new. Their paint was NEVER old or brittle. At least wasn't when I bought it. And... their field/paint prices were identical to the other local fields. I asked the owners why they had only one field at the time and they said that the property was being sold and they didn't want to do a lot until they moved. As far as the reffing goes, I attended one tournament and I thought that it ran very smooth, despite the weather, and the air issue. They did not have a compressor yet and did have to go to another field to fill. Yes, that was very cumbersome. The field owners hated doing that but what choice did they have. So... enogh of the old field.
Their new fields are coming up very nicely. They have a very large hyperball field that is awesome! It has a snake (maze) that is sooo intense! It's a very nice 5-man field. They have just finished putting up a 7-man Sup'Airball field. I think they said it has like 42 bunkers. COOL! I've been told that they are having it landscaped and should be open in a week or two. The guys also told me that a huge scenario village is going in as well.
If you want some fast action, play at 1 Shot. They have the only hyperball field around. | Last edited on Tuesday, May 3rd, 2005 at 12:40 pm PST |

I personally hated this field for numerous reasons. One being that you cannot get compressed air filled directly at the field, the owners take it to ANOTHER local field to get them filled.(wise guys) Paint is generally old and brittle, on top of the very high prices. Now if you want to go and have and evening of fun with paintball this field would be decent for that but i hope you like playing with over sized pieces of carpet stapled together. Now the thing that really gets me about this fields is the tournaments, they suck. The refs have no idea what they are doing and are terrified of getting shot. The result? Really bad ref calls.Plus most refs already favor a team that you will be playing and they will be expecting them to WIN. Whatever you do, do not play any tournaments here.Go to wise guys paintball supply instead. |

One shot is a new place to play paintball close to home. I have played there twice and both times had a really good time. Matt and Gary really take time to get to know you and have a lot of knowledge about the sport of paintball. They want you to become better not only as a paintball player but as a person also. One of the cool things is that you don't have to buy paint from them to play there, but if you run out a lot (like I do) they have good paint and the prices are reasonable, they don't try to gouge you. They have 1 field right now and it takes time to grow. They have plans in the works, so come play at their field and you will have a great time. I have every time. Brian AKA Huff |

1 Shot has quickly become my favorite place to sling paint.
Field:
The mirrored field has been careful planed to the placement of bunkers in order to give optimal shooting lanes.
The Lego style bunkers provide unique angles for play.
Owners:
Ownership is very knowledgeable about the sport and is willing to share that knowledge.
Referees:
The referees remain fair and consistent with their calls.
Location:
Their located 2 minutes off I-81, outside of Chambersburg.
It is worth your time to take a trip to Chambersburg and play on 1 Shots fields. Ownership has their sites set on growing the sport in the local area. 1 Shot has already held a 3 man tournament and have a Young guns tournament coming in October. There is also a plan to hold a paintball league next year for our local area. Check them out at 1shotpaintball.org

This field is a brand new field that has opened up in the chambersburg area and it has already become my favorite...They have a new style of bunker, they call it lego land and they have plans for 3 more air fields.....These bunkers once you get used to them are fun to play around...
The service there is exceptional, Matt and Gary are great guys to work with...They know alot about the sport and only want there field to get bigger and better...They are devoted to making there field the best around....
The prices are great on field fee and paint, this makes it enjoyable for all ages to afford. The can also do private parties and take there bunkers to you, what other field can do that....
If you are a seasoned vet at paintball or just starting out i strongly suggest that you check their field out....I give it a 10 out of 10 |

I have been playing paintball for about 2 years but have only gotting into it in the last 9 months. Thats when 9 of my friends and myself decided to start a team, since then we have played at several fields. But have found a home at one shot paintball field .
These guys are great they care about the sport and the players that do it. If you have a question they anwser it , have a problem they help you with it,need somthing they will get it for you. I live in carlise and it takes about 40 minutes to get there ,but its worth it .They have a new style of bunker I thinks its called easy bunker or (leggo) when i first played on the field it took a bit of getting used to, but once i did it was great.
Most of the bunkers have a couple of differant angles to shoot from, which is great for shooting lanes this is very good when you play back postion.
They also offer a mobile field so if you want to get some friend 's together and play at home they will come set up a field for you to play on WHO ELSE DOES THAT !!!!!!!!
At there field they offer co2, compressed air ,great paint prices and an awsome time.
They have held 2 tourneys at their field and they did a great job!
Gary and Matt are in their first year of running this field and are already looking to expand and with they way they treat you that will not take long this guys realy care.
Im glad I went to 1shot paintball and youll be glad to,so go play and say hello to Gary and Matt

These guys are great guys and they will go the distance to make you feel right at home! I have known about paintball for many years but until this year I finally started to play pretty seriously and managed to put a team together to enjoy it with me!
They have the new easy bunker systems (Lego Bunkers) which are alittle different from standard air ball fields. But once you played on the field a few times you will realize that these are great bunkers with different angles to shoot from. They fill co2 and compressed air and you can bring your own paint to play with, which is a great benefit.
They carry Diablo, Draxxus, and Hurricane Severe paint with a starting price of $45.00 and up. They even offer a mobile service that if you want to have a private outing with friends and family they will set it up for you.
These guys are starting out this year with their own field and have already had two
(2) tourneys and have done a good job at it with the reffing and player fairness with ruling on the field.
Gary and Matt are two (2) of the nicest people I have been around and show courtesy and professionalism towards the sport of paintball. If you have a problems or concerns these guys will handle it in a timely manner and are quick to get you back on the field and playing.
I highly recommend you visiting them at their new field with great prices of paint and co2 and compressed air fill and a new field set up. You can't go wrong with playing at this field and with these great guys.
Thanks
