Really really really cool people. We ran out of air and they lent us their hpa tanks for the day. The weather was really nasty during the day tho. The only thing i didnt like was the fact that it was a tourney 3 man mechanical guns, well...we paid, the other team payed, but the one team did not pay the buy in. then we never recieved our money or team plaque thing...other than that. it was a real fun day for 45 degrees and pourin rain. |

This was the first time playing at this field and meeting the players from Velocity. We were supposed to play in a 3man tourney there but it was canceled due to lack of teams registering but we were invited to play with the GPL team. Jr and all the guy's we played and met at this field were the most polite and just plain AWSOME guy's I've ever had the pleasure playing the game of paintball with. We are rookie team just starting out and during the practice Jr would stop and call everybody into the center of the field and tells us what he saw that we did wrong and explained what we should do to improve!! Everyone on the Velocity Team gave us their utmost respect which really meant alot to us. I will continue to support this field and the Velocity Team, in every tourney they play in!!! I give this field a 10! out of 10. |

I went on the last day of summer thinkin i was in for a treat- o how i was wrong. One good thing about this place was my friends brother is on their team (evilassasins) and we got reduced paint prices- but back to the story. We went to the field , got setup ,and got ready to play. I asked where to chrono in, and they replied "what chrono". Wtf. My friends tippmans velocity was up all the way and blew the skin off my back in 2 places and one off my hand . I still have the scars. The paint distributing and gun rental place was made out of rotting plywood, causing the paint quality to differ, because it was an overcast day. You could tell they never cleaned their field ever because cap'n carl the team captain said the rain does their cleaning. There were paintballs that had been sitting ouside for weeks, causing them to contain water, and grow to the size of softballs.Lol. I would not recomend going to this speedball field unless you absolutely have to. I never got a chance to play any other courses except the speedball course because their was only 7 people there and 6 of them were speedballers . Reliable sorces tell me the other courses are better though. I thought the speedball field sucked and was unsafe and thats why im giving it a 3 out of 10.| Last edited on Monday, October 30th, 2006 at 4:39 pm PST |

This is an awesome place, run by an awesome group of guys, that should be getting more business than it is. They have extremely fair prices, where you pretty much pay what they pay for paint. The fields are great though, the speedball feild is awesome, and so is the woodsball field (even though I prefer speedball). The only problem I have had with this field was finding it the first time, because the store is in downtown Ephrata, Pa and the Field is like 20 minutes away in the middle of nowhere, but once you find it, it's no problem. |

Field is pretty well laid out. Strait forward to navigate. Bunkers are actually pretty good. I went here with a church group and i was only 1 of about 3 experienced players. All 3 of us noticed large small tree stump pertruding fromt he ground. If someone were to fall or trip on them while running, it could be dangerous. Branches weren't cleared out too well either. I kept getting pricked. Compared to ambush and my friends woods we cleared out, this part could use some work.
The Best part of this field would have to be the staff. Extremely friendly, layed back. I ran out of CO2 in my tank and the owner gave me one of his larger 20oz tanks to use all day. Had i known they actually have HPA there i would have brought my HPA tank, i can't believe i forgot it. The owners wife i believe also made sloppy joes and chicken noodle soup and some deserts which she sold to us for a cheap price. I got a sandwhich, soup and soda for less then $5.
Hyperball course was top notch. All encased in netting and tons of balloon bunkers. That's where the most fun was. All in all i had a great experience. |

I was at this field for a tourniement like many of the other reviewers stated. I was impressed with the way the tourniement was run and the prizes were more then fair. They even gave little prizes like squeegies and barrel condoms for the winners of selected games. I liked that they had ordered pizza for lunch and although I didn't eat any for fear of slowing me down, some of our spectators did. One down fall I saw was that we had to wait for them to get the field set up and that pushed the starting time back, also they did not have a stagfing area which was okay for my team, because we always make our own, but it was a problem for some of the other teams. The reffing was great, I being a ref myself at another local field look for this. The refs were very knowledgable and were quick to make a good decision, but careful enough not to make the wrong call. I wish them best of luck in the future and my team and I will be attending anymore tournie that they hold.| Last edited on Thursday, January 20th, 2005 at 11:47 am PST |

I just played in a tournament today (Santa's Revenge). The organization skills of Velocity were excellent. The referees were very good. They constantly check players for paint hits. They really cared about players on the field. Safety was their first concern. Masks were mandatory on the field. Barrel plugs were required up until play began and off the field. The only negative thing I can say is to a degree that staging is a problem at this time. Although they did supply us with plywood boards to lay our equipment on. They are a new field and I can see great things happening in the future for them. They do have a woods field large enough to accommodate 20 people on a team. It would be nice to see bleachers for spectators on the Speed Ball field. Overall I give Velocity a 10 out of 10. |

I was at the same tournament mentioned by "riddick", so like him I wasn't able to see what the other playing fields were like. I will however say that it was the most relaxed tournament I have ever played, and unlike Next Level (Kelly's) they didn't drop the prizes despite the low turnout that the weather threw at us.
I originally went to this tournament as an alternate player, with no real intention of playing. When some youger players wound up missing their 3rd man, one of the field owners, Rick asked if I would play for them. I wasn't in the financal situtation to help them out but Rick wanted to make sure everyone had a good time, so he handeled my entry fee, while I bummed some paint off of my own teammates (thanks guys). The crew at Velocity are really nice guys, whose ultimate goal seems to be that everyone has a good & safe time. The refs were fast to get to you for a paintcheck, and even quicker to get out of the way. Their communication was superb compared to other tournaments I have played, mostly due to Junior directing his refs from the sidelines. Excellent job guys! I enjoyed helping out some younger players and playing against my own team. I know we will be back many more times if we continue to have such a good experience! |

First off I was there only for a three man tournament so I was only on their air ball field, so I dn not know anything of their other fields. That being said they have a great air ball field. It is set up inside netting so you can watch without goggles although every vehicle there was hit by paint flying over the netting. The land is pretty level and free of laying water. The reffing was good they were there to make quick calls but also never in the way.
There is no building there or any real staging area but that may be in the works. As with every other field they have a portopotty.
the thing that they have going for them is the owners and employees play and love the sport and as a result they are a blast to be around while you play. They are just a great group of guys.
