Review: I went with a group of about 30 people for a private game. The place is really easy to find and the staff is friendly and helpful. They have free fills on CO2 as well as HPA, you can BYOP which will save you some money. Entrance for a group is $30/person with equipment and $40/person without. If you people add on to your group the day of its an extra$5. I think the entrance fee is reasonable, the food is slightly overpriced, but not to the point where you know you just got screwed.

All in all I would say I had a good time there even though there was a dead raccoon in the van on one of the fields. Also a tip for people that are thinking of playing there. If you are there and its raining play on the fields that are at the top of the hill. The garbage water will run downhill in the rain and you will end up diving behind a bunker on a lower field and you will get soaked in garbage water.

Review: When I went it was awesome. I got at least 15 games in because they have games constantly starting... paint is not an issue at all because you can bring your own (as long as its not red or white fill) Its only like 40 dollars for a 2000c box I was unfortunate enough to lose my barrel sock so i had to buy a new one and thats where they get you, you can not play if you dont have one and they cost 10 dollars apice so either bring a spare or b careful. The rules were normal, keep your barrel sock on, keep your mask on while playing, dont shoot the refs, etc. The thing i dont like is that i cant go on weekdays when im off of school so that kinda stinks. And they had tons of fields i cannot possibly name them all. All of them were well planned out and not too one sided (except for this one map called the wall which wasnt very good) .... The staff was helpful and awesome and I am definately going again

Review: Thois field is in exellent condition, and has a very good entry fee of 25$, and you can BYOP. although the woodsball field is not to big it still is taken care of and cleaned on a monthly basis keeping it in exellent condition. We as a team would suggest this field from a newplayer to a veteran in the sport knowing that anyone will have a good time playing. The staff is more then friendly and with your entree fre tou get unlimited free air and co2. defidentally worth checking out!!!

Review: the fields were a little run down but the low prices and good service make up for it. they had their first winter battle today and my Co2 tank wouldnt work in the cold so they held onto my gun while i used a rental for free which was awesome.

Review: I participated in Raul's Mid Summer Bash this past weekend. For the most part the conditions were great. The staging area was clean and the field was in very good condition. As with all fields you have refs that actually do their job and a few refs who just sit around and talk to each other instead of watching the game.

Most of the staff did enforce the rules of the field and the rules of the game. They also made sure everyone had their masks on while on the field and that barrel bags were on when they were off the field.

All the players I met were friendly and welcomed myself and my friend who attended the event with me. I camped out Saturday night and while my friend went to get dinner the players who were camping next to us came over and helped me set up the tent.

If I did not live two hours away I would go to the Badlandz for walk on play. If finances allow I will attend the scenario event they have in October.

Review: Great field i enjoyed going ther because they had great refs and service. the food there is ok and cheap. u can BYOP or buy theres for 40$. the only negative is that there bathrooms suk. they smell horrible but who cares anyways thats the way johns are supposed to smell. anyways great field for the 25$ entry fee and BYOP. rec games are also good and well put together. overall great field dont waste ur money other places just go here its cheap and well put together!!!

EDIT
I just went to the badlandz this past weekend and it was as usual pretty good. the open games were well put together besides the hyperball field we played on. i usually play hyperball 7 on 7 but this time it was lik 16 on 15 it was wak we had lik 3 guys behind each bunker but besides that it was good as usual.

Review: I wrote one review prior to this for badlandz, giving it a 10 of 10, but the last time i went the chi-town comps. were going on so hyper or xball was not open and normaly badlandz has outstanding refs but this time i had two ref that iv never even seen before. they were lazy and i could never find them when i needed them they were talking with co-workers or sittin there lookin stupid. i usally give a $20 tip to each ref plus what the other guys in my group give them cuz most of the time we torment the refs, but these guy got $5 just cuz i dont like to stiff anyone.
*****BYOP
Refs
4 of 10 (based on the refs i had)
Fields
10 of 10
Paint
10 of 10 it byop or they have it for $40 a case
Overall
7 of 10 the refs messed it up

Review: Great field!! What's not to like about $25 admission, Free air, Bring your own paint, great Ref's and owner. The last ime I was there I locked my keys in my car and the owner came and opened the car for me. Also my buddies air tank was loose and he fixed it for him no hassle, no charge, No worries. The food there is good Burgers, Hot dogs, Pizza. The paintball prices are awesome...$40 for Badlandz paint and 40 for Draxxus rec sport paint (really thick, visible, shoots str8). The fields are good, Of course just like any other field it gets muddy, but not as bad as when I went to Fox... What a mud pit.. They also have sometimes buy their paint get in FREE....This place is out of this world.....

Review: Me and my buddy play at this field as often as we can. I myself am a woodsballer and their fields are nice when it's dry....soon as rain hits it's like walking in pudding. there is just mud everywhere...u hit a bunker running and it feels like you have to come up for air. my friends weren't wearing military boots like i was and one lost his shoe in the mud...so it's some thick stuff...

One problem i have with the field, and i've been going here long enough to notice, is that the fields condition is worsening...the place just looks, at time, like a mess. you sometimes get a whiff of stagnant old water and puts a little gag in ur throat. Facilities...well the johns could be cleaner but they are johns...so suck it up or hold it in...i'd like to see them perhaps pave the driveway to the field and the parking lot...if u don't have a 4x4 or a big car when it's wet u can get stuck (happened to me last weekend)...but you know live and learn

there's no required chrono but top speed allowed is 300 FPS...so when u get hit some of them feel hot...but w/e...all i can say is make sure when u go, if it rains..., bring lots of plastic bags and extra clothes...it's BYOP but their prices at the field are like at the stores and reasonable...they have an array of fields for every type of player...xball, speed, woods...it's only 25 for entrance...and they stay open for quite a while...8AM - 6pm...that's a lot of playing...the owner usually takes tallies throughout the day to make sure games are sent out quickly and that everyone has a good time...

well regarding some fo the other players that show up to the field as in all fields can ruin a good time. me and my buddies did have a little altercation with some newbs at the field...my friend was clearing out a bunker on a flank and shot one kid...while another kid was in the bunker using the one that was out as a shield kept shooting at my friend...in response my friend fired back well consequently some hit the kid that was already out...seeing this as overshooting the kid's dad (who was out already) takes off his barrel bag and shoots my friend's head...i immediately step in with my gun in the dad's face...but the ref stopped me...but nothing happened to the dude that shot my friend point blank in the back of the head...which i thought was pretty shady on the part of the ref...but we all cooled down and smoked them the next round :) so when u play there...watch out for the dudes that seem to think that getting shot is a reason to throw down...all i have to say is it's paintball ur already shooting each other no need to duke it out...

they have a decent concession stand but i believe u can bring your own food...i've seen parties where people break out the grill and cook up a storm...u park where u want in essence...they also have picnic tables set up all around for eating and serving as parking spot markers...

air is part of the entrance fee...they do Co2 and HPA/Nitro fills...they have separate fills stations for both...air is self serve...and Co2 there is usually a line after a long game...so run if u need Co2 after a big game...

there is no safety video or speeches...but they have signs with safety warning about masks and barrel bags...friend's rental got taken away cause he lost the barrel bag in the field...so they will make u replace it before u get ur rental back...their barrel bags are $6 but its usually the players fault so i think it's justified...

not really a proshop there but some of the refs are knowledgeable about most gear so asking them for help is a great option...i think i've covered all the little subsets for reviewing a field...

all in all i enjoy this field alot...not that expensive...at $25 and it's BYOP so that is always a plus...check out their website they have frequent holiday specials...and promotional events for all ages...

Review: This is the first paintball feild that I started offically playing. This is my second year as playing. I tried fox valley and cpx and the badlandz is better because the refee's are helpful and ladback and don't mind haveing fun with the customers. The prices are fair and they let you bring your own paint if you have a brand that you like and there paint prices for paint are far better then other places because other places charge 90 for a case of paint and you have to use there paint. There big games are awesome and the other paintball players at this field are awesome. they are just as helpful as the employes.I had a problem with my first paintball gun which is a sypder xtra or my walmart special a refee let me use his ion that he was selling. But I got a tippmann a-5 with a egrip and the refees even helped me program the e-grip because I was having trouble programing it because I bought the e-grip as a upgrade. Also, the players and the refees are there to have fun because they just come there to play the sport that they love and they don't mind if you ask them questions on how to inprove your game because the place splits up people beginners and new people with the older experinced people so people can learn from other players. I give this place a 10 out of 10 because of service and price and play
