All Americans( right across the street) I'd go to AA before Statler's anyday |

I played here with a group this past weekend and was very unimpressed. The fields are all woodsplay, but they are decent fields. The rental packages were 25$ for a tippmann pro-carbine, co2, mask, and 100 paintballs. Thats for 2 hrs. At All American's for 30 you gett an ion, a halo TSA, a n2 tank, mask, and 4 hours of play. Plus a sweet indoor field. the refs at Statlers dont do too much but will paintcheck if you ask them to. The rental guns were all shooting at 330 fps, but they were more concerned about getting the games going than they were with getting the guns chronoed under 280. The paint is 60$ a case for old diablo heat. The paint i used had dimples and most wasn't round. At All Americans you can get fresh X-ball bronze for 50 a case. Its sweet paint. If you are a newb with a lot of money to waste and refuse to play speedball. Go here. Otherwise, go across the road To All-Americans. It is a multimillion dollar indoor facility. complete with artificial grass, a 7-man practice field, x-ball field, and nice pro-shop.
All Americans is a better field at a better price.
I won't return to Statlers

Hey guys. I'm a ref at Statler's and I just want to inform you about some things that the previous reviews may scrutinize us for. I've started working for them this year and I'm trying to improve our paintball for beginners as well as the more advanced players. I am usually entirely in charge of keeping the guns up and running as well as keeping the fields clean and making sure everything runs smoothly. We sometimes did have a few guys who weren't the best refs because they had no experience and just did it because myself or one of the other refs weren't available that particular day. The policy of field paint only is something I don't fully understand either but from my understanding we need to do it because the paintball department doesn't make a whole lot of money and we need some extra income to keep it going, but as others said we do offer free C02 fills. I am pretty much the exclusive ref on the weekends so chances are if you come on a saturday or sunday, I'll be your ref. It was said that the refs are somewhat unobservant of what's going on in the fields...sometimes it isn't possible to watch the entire field with a keen eye. If somebody choses to wipe or cheat they are playing paintball for the wrong reasons. At Statler's I try to make sure whoever comes and plays has a good time, regardless of whether they are experienced or a novice. That's all we are concerned with and I hope you don't let the negative reviews persuade you to skip trying our fields. Thanks for your time. If anybody has any questions regarding Statler's paintball you can contact me at jpanichella@gmail.com |

Overall the fields were very nice. They have 3 wooded fields and one open field for speed ball. Good bunkers and nice mix of terrain.
The paint they used was 32 degrees which ran us $60 for case of 2000. Every single player had barrel breaks and this happened the entire time there.
We played in March and the outside temperature was around 30 degrees. The place left the paint in a truck over night and we believe the paint was frozen and VERY brittle. Several players broke paint just loading their hoppers. Very disappointed in the paint. I know cold weather can play havoc on Co2 and paint but for $60 case they could have at least had fresh paint or stored them in a heated environment.
The refs spent most of the time sitting on a bench; they were never around to make calls. If you were uncertain of a hit; you had to walk off of the field and then return to the game.
Our group had fun playing but we will not be back to Statlers anytime soon. |

This place sucks hardcore. the paint is wwwwwwwaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyy to expensive at 90 bucks a case whenver i went there. the fields suck too. so do the refs. dont go here. it sucks. the only thing it is good for is go-karting. it has an awesome go-kart track. and there is golf. whatever you do, odnt play paintball here. when i had my birthday there we had a paintball target shoot, it was even before i was into paintball. it was allright. but dont play there. tis too expensive go to action. |
