None have a speedball/xball field that even compares to OK's |

Unlike all of the other fields in Nova Scotia, Overkill Sportz actually has a walk in Canteen/ Proshop. OK Sportz also supports the only Xball ready field in NS, complete with tower, pits, penalty boxes and a scoreboard as well as a top of the line playing surface. Enough about the speedball, OK also offers and large urban setting woodsball field, complete with towers, buildings and a deep wooded section. This field has it all, great fields, great staff ;), and great players.
As far as services, OK offers Tippmann 98 Custom rental packages complete with a high pressure air system and paint for an affordable price. The field uses a 3000psi compressor and a soon to be 4500psi. Recently the local scenario team began to fill C02 for the players that still rock that.
All in all, this field is hands down, the best overall in Nova Scotia, and trust me, I've been to all that say they compare. |

Overkills has by far the best speed ball field in the area. It has nice grass, nice air bunkers, good fill station area and the field fee is only $5. The staff is very knowledgeable and its not hard to start up games or find refs for games on Sundays. Overkill does a big part locally in setting up tournaments and events which always have a great turnout. The only downfall about Overkill is the price of paint. Its a field paint only field which is ok, but they sell Draxxus white box for $100 a case, where any Joe Blow can order a case from www.buypbl.com for $47 a case and the is not whole sale price fields get. This is the only reason I dont go to the field every weekend and instead every odd weekend. |

The outdoor field with a natural grass is fantastic to play on. Excellent drainage removes standing water quickly so even after heavy rains there are few to no puddles to deal with. Xball bunkers arranged and positioned by staff in ever changing layouts allows for interesting educated play on each visit.
Safety is apparent with consistent reminders from staff on rules and posted warnings.
Hours of operation are consistent on weekends but may require a phone call to facility during the week.
Prices are relatively consistent with other major paintball centers across Canada. Entrance fee is minimal, rental packages are reasonable and include paint. Free HPA available for all. Typical expense at OVERKILL is paint as this is a Field Paint Only (FPO) Center. Two grades of Draxxus paint available and costs are reasonable compared to other Canadian centers. All games( speed or woodsball) have referees to oversee rules and safety.
Most players at this center are more than willing to help new players. Overkill sponsored players are always on hand to offer technical support and advice, or to just lend a hand.
On sundays there is free hotdogs for the players.
Proshop has minor repair parts and a growing variety of hard and soft parts for all types of players.
The complete experience at Overkill, from the field conditions to helpful staff, to the players associated with this field who are willing to go out of their way to make your personal experience top notch is more than worth it.

My experience at this field was the indoor one and it was great. People and staff were very friendly. Great facility. Lot of space for player. If the outdoors experiences is like the indoor, you guys must have a lot of a good time out there. The only reason I did'nt try the outdoors is the ride down there (7 hours for me). But it should be a great outdoors field. Indoor was awsome.
The only reason I did'nt give a 10 for the indoor is because the field should be more ventilated. The air was fill with dust. A better ventilation would be great. But this problem will not keep me away from that indoor since it's the only indoor facilities in Atlantic.
Great experience overall!!! Keep up the good work!!!!!

Overkill Sportz not much i have to say got the best of everything, including staff. you got any questions at all you can ask anyone there and your guaranteed help. the safety rules are all pretty basic chrono limit barrel bags or plugs in all times while not in game play. they have a showcase with stuff always forsale, great technical support and also have a canteen. Overkill Sportz also has pretty much the best of everything and is always improving there fields. havent let me down once so far and im out pretty much every weekend awesome field. |

Safety is excellent. Prices are amazing so it allows you play longer. The fields are fantastic. If you like speedball, they have a really nice flat, grassed airball field with complete netting for optimal viewing by spectators. For woodsball, they have a large wooded area with lots of treed area as well as wooden bunkers for lots of options. A high pressure compressor keeps the air available for those who use it. The pro shop is nice for the few extras you might need to get you through a day of play. There are always lots of players around to get a game going. The owners are great guys who are easy to get along with are willing to help everyone out no matter what. |

I have not played at the outdoor field yet, so this review is for the indoor field.
This place is amazing! the atmosphere is great, alot of good talent comming out of this field. It has lots of good bunkers, the layout is allways changing and is allways set up so perfect for play. So far every week that I have gone there, the layout has changed to something better! this is an amazing field, and I can only think of one downside to this, which is the ground, its a dirt/soil type base which slides well but gets in your gear, but who cares you can't expect your stuff to not get dirty playing anywhere!
amazing field, go check it out! |

This course is amazing. There's enough bunkers so you can hide from opponents, yet not so many that they will never find you. The paint they use is next to perfect, and at affordable price's. Other then the fact that you get sand in your shoes, this course is the best in A.C. (in my opinion). |
