I went to this course last summer as a walk on just to see how it compared to the other courses in the area. I can say quite certainly that this is the best course in the area hands down. It is split up into two rough sections; there is the urban section which consists of a town like area with lots of cover to duck behind. Then there is the forest area surrounding the city which is equally as fun to play in. Another thing that I liked about this course was the staff and how they conducted themselves, they where very knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions that I had. I strongly recommend this field to anyone of any experience level in the Saskatoon area. |

Battlefield paintball is the best field in the Saskatoon area in my opinion. Although they may not have the biggest field area, they are by far the most professional, well maintained and reasonably priced of all the fields in this area. Although they do not have airball at this time, I would imagine that they will soon get it, as the owners play a lot of local tournament ball. I would suggest that if you will be playing there more than once a year that you get a membership, as it pays for itself in 2 visits, not to mention that you get less expensive paint. Walk-ons are welcome, they have both CO2 and HPA fills (also cheaper with membership) and their rentals (Tippman '98's) are some of the best maintained around. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the reff'ing is as good as you can expect. They have a decent size "city", as well as 2 "castles" set at opposite sides of the field (with the city being kind of in the center). They take visa,M/C and debit, and have cold drinks for sale should you decide not to bring your own. If you live in the area Battlefield is definately worth checking out. |
