Review: The prices here are not that bad, 10.95 admission, 6.00 all day air, and 47.00 paint (roughly)

The fields were nice, and i like how you can fill up at the fields.

Ref's help out a lot, i came here and played with my friend and his team a few times, they were really good, did paint checks well and all that.

I would love to go back here and play some speedball as they have, well, AMAZING fields!

The shop there is just godlike, it has gear, pods, packs, guns, barrels, hoppers, parts, just absolutely everything you could possibly need for a paintball gun, is here.

I would totally recommend Hypersports to people who like speedball, their rec fields are not that good, but the place is best used as a speedball field in my opinion, over the summer i am going to be trying out, and most likely joining, a team that is based out of Hypersports, so i will have a much better review of the place, i will updage my review then.

For now i recomment Hypersports to any speedballers out there, but for woodsballers, there is a great place called Full Throttle Paintball, and i suggest you check it out, ill write a review for them too.

Review: Hypersports may possibly be a good place for a team of sponsored speedballers, but my team doesn't like them at all.

Fields

Speedball field one: had like four bunkers, little grass, close to park, had a N2 fill station in front. I couldn't tell what pressure it went up to, because I was using CO2 at the time and didn't bother to look or ask. I guess that field was being repaired of something.
Speedball field two: We asked about playing on it, but because most of us are minors, they didn't pay attention to us. They just said no. But, later on in the day a family was allowed on, but no teams. It was OK turf, and had about 20 bunkers. About one third of the field was bare of bunkers.
Speedball field three: It was heavily bunkered, had great turf, and was occupied the whole day by some team. The refs wouldn't let us on. There was only one ref at the field watching the games. Other refs had to go on the field often to inflate bunkers. There was paint all around the inside of the netting, so that goes to show that they didn't clean up much.
Woodsball field: City slickers don't know how to make good woodsball fields. They're in the heart of Orlando, so they were more focused on the speedball fields. It wasn't horrible; it was my favorite style for something in the city that is only one acre. But, for woodsball, it isn't great. It was strategically a mix of rag-tag speedball and organized woodsball. The field was set up in the shape of a very long rectangle. It was the whole width of their lot. The field went back about 75 to 100 feet, then it was impossible to get any further. I have grown up roaming through very thick FL woods, and have been to Wayne's World of Ocala several times, but I was incapable of making it all the way to the back. The field was split up length-wise, in half. The front half was set up like speedball yet with construction material - sewage & drainage piping, 90 degree wood bunkers with slants, and other things set up like rag-tag speedball. At the opposite ends of the field were rises in the ground where the teams stand. They have each team yell when ready, then they count down. Each team rushes either into the woods or field. Only at the hill areas are there easy-access points to the woods side of the field. Otherwise you'll be going through many briers, etc. In the woods side there are many mature trees with lots of large vines, but otherwise clear. There were a few wood bunkers. There was also a large hill all along the split of the fields. The woods, despite rumors of wasps and ants, was perfectly clear.
Other areas than fields: The walk to the fields, mainly the woodsball one, was a very long walk. The ground near the speedball fields was rather mucky.

Parking: Large area, well designed. The one problem is that you have to go around the fence and through the store to get to the fields.

Store: I've never seen any paintball section or whole of stores so big. They had many rows of everything under the sun, racks of clothes in the center, clean bathrooms big enough to change clothes in, and a long area for the CO2/N2 fill station. The employees weren't all to friendly unless you strike up a conversation with them. About two thirds of them didn't know much about the facility. When I called in advance to find what to expect (prices, rules, etc.) I was on the line for at least two minutes trying to find someone to talk to who knew much. There is a snacks cooler with Red Bull, Monster, and other things at decent prices.

Admission: Rather high, though it included unlimited air. I forget the actual price. It is a field paint only store on Saturdays, the BYOP for $5 extra on Sundays. I don't ever play on Sundays because I go to church, so that kinda stunk. The field paint was something like $15 or $20 for 500 rounds, though the paint was OK.

Paint allowed: When it's BYOP on Sunday, they allow anything but pink/red fill, Brass Eagle, JT, and Worr Pig.

Food: There are many fast food restaurants nearby, though I forget what.

Rental: Sadly, my gun was in storage, so I had to rent. The price wasn't bad (something like $15). It had a cheap mask, Tippmann Custom 98, rusty 12 oz. tank, and hopper. They guns, despite the good care, did have quite a bit of wear and tear. The lid on my hopper would open while I had my gun in the air after being hit. I lost my paint completely. I went to the store and told them what happened. They gave me 200 rounds of their top paint, though I asked for more of the low-end stuff because I lost all that I could afford. I had already bought a new tank a month earlier and had my mask along with it, so I used them. I asked a ref on the field if I could use my tank, but he said no. Later on in the store I asked about it, and they said yes. I did what I prefered, which happened to be using my own tank. I also used my own $20 mask rather than their $15 one.

Misc: The refs were great when you could get them on the field. The crono station was used at the beginning of the day for everyone and any new players. It took forever and they used a lot of paint. A guy on the field got caught using pink paint (the store didn't sell pink, so apparently he got in with his own paint). He was called off the field. He was allowed to use some of his own paint of a different color. I was pretty ticked off that he was allowed to use his own paint, and I had run out. I decided it would be best for me to use my own, too. I did so. The refs didn't care.

All in all, it's a decent field if you can either get money for admission or sneak in with your own paint. I would only ask that they train their employees better, because I didn't know if I was breaking the rules or not, I just followed the ref who said I could do what I wanted, whatever it was. I don't believe I'll be going back.

Review: Well Im writing a review after reading these reviews Knowing I didnt have a good experience here. I read the one approx 5 reviews under this one and that was basically my experience too. Its the one everyone is disputing because they had a negative response to this place too. They might have grass but the bunkers are falling apart and there were many people complaining about the same thing. Its really a negative feeling out there cause if your not a regular, you get stuck playing on the hyperball field all day and you never get the chance to play on the air ball field because the tourney guys are hogging it all day. They have two fields to play on. They do have one more field, THE BEST FIELD by looks but you cant use it because it doesnt belong to hypersports but a team that practices there every weekend and your not allowed on it.
So lets discuss the airball field for the average JOE out there can use, this air ball field that regular customers can use, it deflates after every game or two and there constantly having to refill the bunkers. Its really silly that they dont fix it or toss it.
You have to walk far for your air refills and you need to hope you have a 20 oz tank so you dont need to refill often.
They dont go over the rules with you except please sign there waiver so there not liable. I think if you have a field paint only field you should have a notice on there website or put notices up a few months before you do it instead of just one weekend out of the blue change your rules. The week before I called to ask what was there policy and they didnt mention them switching to field paint only and i wasnt prepaired to purchase a 65.00 box of paint.
The refs werent all too good and they seemed like they would rather be playing themselves instead of reffing.
Over all I dont think I will ever return to this field, I felt like I was just a number out there and they didnt care if I had a good time or not. I will not recommend this field at all.

Review: Ok so i love this place. Hyper Sports has been my number one choice for paintball fields since i started playing, yes i am a noob ive only been doing paintball for a years but i have to say hyper sports is the best in MY OPINION. First off the refs are cool i know 2 of them perosonaly. the place is very clean and prices are amazing.for diablo formula 13 u only pay 45 bucks! for 2000 rounds XD although i think there guns are a little over priced.the proshop is awsome they have just about everything.YES there are many many noobs but aye its fun to shoot 'em up sometimes.i live right across the street from hypersports and i go there for all my paintball needs. there airball field do deflate alot but aye is works just the same, well kinda, next time u go there look for a kid thats really big blk hair red team jt pants and proly just a shirt and spyder pilot with pulse hopper and VL pro pods, yes my gun sucks but ima get a pmr sooner or l8er

Review: Well I'm just going to tell basically my day at Hypersports and at the end give my reviews on parts of Hypersports
I got there at around Noon on Sunday December 16th and there was a pretty good amount of people sitting around near the 1st x-ball field which I noticed was deflating a bit. The 2nd x-ball field was not as deflated but no one was playing on it. The last one had a ton of noobs and renting people there. It was a hyperball field with a lot of pipes scattered around. I'm not going to lie, I actually thought the Hyperball field was extremely fun to play on but the noobs kept trying to kick me off the field. Luckily the refs kept letting me come back in. While near the Hyper Ball field I met 3 guys who also had their own stuff. They were pretty cool and we hung out basically the rest of the day. What made me mad was the incredible amount of noob to experience difference there was. It looked like this:
Noobs > Experience...
At one point we ended up playing the x ball field with the pros which made it 8 on 8 on a 5 man field. Pretty dumb...

Prices: 9/10
Good compared to Orlando Paintball
Paint Grade:10/10
$45 gets a case of DXS Recsport which actually is not bad
$50 gets Diablo Formula 13 which is amazing
Cleanliness: 10/10
Very Clean Bathrooms, Pro shop, and Fields
Pro Shop: 11/10
AMAZING Pro Shop! Had 4 booths: Barrels/ Guns, ASAs/Boards/Upgrades/Pants/Jerseys, Hoppers/ Shells/ Hopper Upgrades/ Pants and Jerseys, Check Out.
Amazing Selection of guns, barrels, hoppers, upgrades, and jerseys/pants.
Refs: 10/10
Amazing!!! Refs of Hypersports that worked the hyperball field I give you mad props for getting shot that many times and still working at that field. I swear those noobs were shooting the refs when the were doing paint checks like 10 times a game.... I felt pretty bad for them.

Overall Hypersports gets a great 10/10!!!!! Hope this review gets more players because the more the merrier!!! If you do go to hypersports paintball, look for the Kid with Blue Empire Pants, Empire Jersey Blue, and Blue Ion with Empire B2, and Empire Events White

OP, Epik, Al's, Wayne's. All are below par with Hypersports. Al's is trash plain and simple. Orlando Paintball is THE most annoying field to play on. Everytime I get in a fight with ref's who think they are god. Wayne's is just to damn far to pay more money. Epik, eh its average.

Look it up.
Review: Alright lets give Hypersports the review it deserves.

First thing first, Every field and I mean EVERY field has to start somewhere. Hypersports started out small, and they are growing. Two new fields are in the works, they just converted the entire front area in front of the shop into a parking lot, Added gravel to the walk way to the back fields, no more Mud YAY! OP was garbage when it first started. they only got better because of the fields added across the street and the main factor of Xtreme Assault closing down.

Staff: Staff is incredible. Refs are cool, and relaxed. I have not had a single ref yell at me, how many times have you had refs at other fields yell at you? Exactly. There is always at least one ref per field, sometimes two. The pro shop staff is extremely knowledgeable, and very helpful with gun issues.

Parts: Some of the parts are pricey, but they have to make money somehow. I don't buy all of my stuff there, but I buy from time to time, plus they have the largest availability. If it's not in stock, they will order it and it gets in pretty quick. Faster than e-bay.

Fields: The three/four fields they currently have is more than enough. The Hyperball field, with optional woods play, is a fantastic amateur field. Doesn't get much better than that, its an easy field for skilled players, but fun and sometimes challenging for the kids and birthday parties. Wait for the new fields, they are going to be so sweet. How many fields currently in Orlando have a city? NONE!

Paint: The paint is decent quality, recsport and draxxus. If you want high end paint they will get it for you, any brand, any make.

Prices: The best part of BYOP on Sundays is the regulations, no crap paint allowed. With recsport running $45 a case, its decently priced, and cheaper than both Wayne's world and OP.

Management: If you don't know Jason, your loss. One of the friendliest and coolest field owners I have met. There is no bull with him. He has come a long way since the doors opened at Hypersorts and I look forward to seeing where he goes from here.

Honestly, if you seriously have a hard feeling with this field, don't show up, we don't need your crap there anyway join the other whiny players at OP. If you think you could build and maintain a better field, shut up and do it.

I am there every few weeks on a consistent basis, If you have problems or complaints come talk to me about it. I am the only person you will see with a black Ion in a Hard plastic tactical case. I play in an Olive Proto jersey and cargo shorts I'm sure you've seen me.

Review: Location The field is located off busy 436 but in a decent area.

Appearance One of the good things about this field: there isn't any trash laying around and the parking lot seems safe enough to leave your car. The building is painted "doo doo" brown with the word "PAINTBALL," in tall skinny letters, written across it.

Customer Service The customer service could use a big improvement. I wasn't greeted or told the house rules of the field. I was asked if I played there before and shown a waiver-that's it! C'mon people, you have players inflating bunkers.

Prices One of the good things about this field. With my own paint, gear, on a Sunday, about $20. Not the cheapest in the area but it will work. Like every other field the gear prices in the shop are high.

Fields There are 4 fields. One is loosely called a "woods field," but to the trained eye, it's more of an "over-grown brush" field. Seriously, if I go homeless it would make a great "bum haven." There are backyards bigger than that field. BTW, the "tournament" players seem to take over the field closest to the proshop for their convenience. Make sure you have everything you need to avoid long walks back to the car.

Reffing: It's as enthusiastic as a trip to the dentist and these guys show it. One ref per field-if you are lucky. You have to pay for a paint check. Oh wait, you already did.

Conclusion It's not a bad place to spend your money on a Sunday afternoon, and it's certainly not the best. The only thing that draws me to this field is the location, BYOP Sunday, price and the cutey that works at the desk. Thanks for playing.

This field is really easy to find. Its right off hoffner about halfway between conway and semoran.
Review: Prices:
$10.95 entry
$6 all day air

or $20.95 for entry/all day air/rental

Every sunday is BYOP and there is an additional chage of $6.

There are 4 fields total, but only 3 are setup. I believe the 4th field is a rotational field so that the grass can regrow on other fields when needed. Currently, there are 2 airball fields and one scenario type field. The fields seem to be your standard regulation size.

The air fills are inside and right by the field, but if you are not at the first field, then it is a bit of a walk to get refilled, but nothing to really complain about. There are 2 covered staging areas. One is right by the first field, and the other is between the second and third field. The coverings are large and made of metal. They stood up very well to the torrential downpoured that ensued while I was there last sunday.

The refs were good. They were great about chrono-ing everyone, and they were not afraid to jump in for paint checks. The ref we had (I don't remember his name - kinda short kid with dirty blond hair) was good about calling people out and making sure the games went smoothly. The refs also did a great job of ensuring barrel condoms were used and masks were on where neccesary.

The bunkers all seemed to be of high quality. All the bunkers were clean and well staked down. The bunkers stayed aired up for the entire day. I noticed one of the small X's starting to droop towards the end of the day, but they had airblowers out there in the event that one needed to be topped off.

The fields were nice and even and covered with grass. There were a couple spots (mainly the snake) where it was more dirt then grass, but that is to be expected. Overall the fields were very nice and easy to slide on.

The proshop was huge and well stocked. The prices are very reasonable for most things. I've also heard that Jason is a good tech for most guns. The bathrooms were clean and presentable.

I've only been to 3 other fields in the area, but this field was head and shoulders above the rest. You really can't even compare this field to the other 3 that I have visited because it is so much better. For the price and the quality of the field, I can't imagine finding a better place to play.

Review: Ive bben playing at HyperSports for around 6 months and let me tell those haters that put up negative reviews on HyperSports. The field is gangsta the reffs are gangsters and Jason is just a straight up Gangsta!!! We have been here as a team and our game has improved for the fact that the X-Ball field is there. We also have pro teams such as Detroit Strange and other pros that come through such as Nicky Qubano Cuba, Josh Niveus, Chris Lasoya and many more. We also have a woods baller heaven field out there and the proSop is the shizzle. so to all the haters out there when yall are playing on a wack field Ecko and Strange and all the ballers at hypersports will be throwing down on the Gangsta field. Bring it and lets have fun. Peace. -1-
