I went to this field the other day and was impressed in pretty much every way. I went on a Sunday, which is probably more team oriented, but I still had tons of fun. I met the owners and they really helped me through things like playing better. All the people there are awesome, just a bunch of fun loving guys. I think the number one thing I like at the field is that they are exclusively airball, which they only have one field for now (the second one is being constructed) is still already awesome. I find the competition for airball much stiffer here than anywhere else and gives me a lot more opportunity to improve my game. The field/air fee is fair and so are the paint prices. It was $45 for our choice of X-Ball Silver or Red Legion. The Red Legion shot great for me all day even though it was breaking like from chest level. I'm definitely going to be getting the one year membership, and probably going to have my team practice there from now on. The field is easily accessible and I can use my car as my staging area, which is ultra nice :). If you go out there, meet the people in charge, they are some of the coolest people in the sport. |

PROS:
Rockwood is a well run paintball field. It is very close to hotels, food, gas stations, it's located at the back corner off to the side of the Driving Range so you can have a full outing in one day if you want to hit some balls and play some paintball.
The field is very well priced, the people running it are very nice. They have a covered staging area, paved parking lot, compressed air fills, rentals, etc. There are 2 fields which are ok.
They have electronic rentals, very helpful staff, very well netted fields, and choices of paintballs. They also offer a discount if you buy the year pass.
CONS:
The playing surface isn't that great hard or muddy. A bunch of the players think they are supposed to act like they are gods gift to earth, the fields are very small, some days people aren't out there during their "hours of operation". |

Kelton the owner of the field is one of the coolest owners i've met. The prices are fair as any and there are many choices of where to eat within walking distance... long story short the fields is cool and the owner even cooler i'll be looking foward to many more times playing there |

Came here today and my team was suposed to show up for practice. I poded up, got a fill. Played a few pick up games. After all only one of my teamates showed this practice. There was 15 people there so we decided to start kind of a pick up tournoment, spliting everyone into 5 3 man teams. We won. The refs were nice, i acidenlty started ramping on one casue i thought he was a player and he ended up saying he was sorry, i was suprised i didnt get hit(by him). The prices are good, there going to stop having byop on march 4. They only had one feild, it was a decent setup they have tons of food places within walking distance of the field. not much of a stagin area, but its no biggy. Not to big of a place, seems kida compact and shoved in the back. eh people that go there are kinda stupid and talk a whole bunch of smack for no reason.| Last edited on Thursday, May 11th, 2006 at 8:19 pm PST |

This is a sweet field. There are 5 and a 3 man fields. The owner is really nice and will help you fix your gun for nothing if you have a small problem with it. Prices are some of the best i think. It is also located in a pretty good place...next to quite a few places to eat. This is a great place for people of all skill levels to play at |

This is a great field to play at. The people down there are extremely nice. The only problem I noticed with the field is that it is pretty muddy (they said that they will fix that).The field is kind of small, not what I am used to, but I had hardly any trouble getting used to it. He said he will be getting a new field pretty soon (will be a little bit bigger). I'm giving this field a 10 because it is such a great field and there are such great people down there. This feild was alright it was good for people who know how to play paintball and for people who are new to the sport i was there and there was some azn kid with a timmy and he was good well allright i think his name was zach or sumthing hope i see him again well this is a good feild i would reccomend to anyone. |

Paintball Authority- the owner at paintball authority is really cheap and mean,but the owners at rockwood paintball are SO nice! Plus u can bring ur own paint top rockwood unlike g_ay old PBA. |

I think Rockwood Paintball was a sweet field with some downsides. First, it was WAY TOO muddy, then some g_ay kids play there. alotta kids play there and think they're gonna get sponsored with g_ay lil team names. and most of em brag but aren't that good. Now for the good things about Rockwood. The Owners there are the nicest people ull ever meet and there's also allota competition there so I WOULD RECCOMMEND BUYING A ELECTRONIC MARKER BECUZ U WILLL HAVE NO CHANCE IN THE WORLD TO WIN. THE GUNS THERE TO RENT ARE PIRAHNA E-FORCES SO THEY ARE ELECTRONIC AS SOME OF U NO. ID EITHER BUY A ELETRONIC GUN OR RENT THE PIRAHAN. U WILL SERIOIUSLY DIE A PAINFUL DEATH. So go have fun! |

Rockwood is a awsome field to play at.Me and my friends played there once.It is at a good location what i mean is there are plenty of fast food places to eat at.I heard they were making a new field so they will be open in March of 2005.So yes i wood recomend Rockwood to play at. |

ok rockwood is a awesome feild..Probally the best around here..Even though they only have one feild set-up right now, but there adding another feild in during the month of Febuary.
the people there are awesome.. owner is really cool. also if you get hungry, theres like 8 different places around the area where you can eat.
also, its the only bring your own paint feild in the area and the prices are the best in the area...
good stuff..
all in all, rockwood is a great feild
