Kersplat is a great place to play if you are looking for a relaxed fun atmosphere. If you want to play with or against the top level plays from the local area then go to Metro paintball games. If you are looking to have fun give Kersplat a try. If yor are looking to play against some good player give them and call and try to go down during one of ther team practices. The owners are great people and they will do everything they can to help you out. The prices are a little more than you may want but they are on par for an indoor field (cost more to run indoor field = cost more to play at indoor field). They also have a full concession stand and arcade games for when you need a break as well as a pro shop with alot of the parts you may need. Don't hesitate to give this field a try it may just suprise you. |

The prices are terrible, $55 for NelSplat on top of the $20 entry! Metro is much cheaper :)
The reffing crew here is one big joke, there is an 11 year old who refs! the smell of this field as you walk in make me sick (literally threw up) .
Just save money, time and have a amazing place to ball, just go to MPG
BTW I bumped it up form a 1 to a 3 because they have a drinking fountain. |

Ker splat has good things and bad. Goods are its the only field in omaha and very friendly. If never paintballed before its good place to start because there are others like yourslef and some that have more expiernce to give you pointers. The prices are average.
The bad things are the field is very dirty. It is kinda hard to run because its very slippery from paint. other things are the paint there isnt the greatest its Nelson. also somethime the refs help out people that go there alot.
One thing is if you have never paintballed before DONT BE INTIMIDATED. dont only play with your own group thats when it gets boring And if you have a gun problem they have people to fix it for you. |

Well when i first got there i was really intimidated because i had never played speedball before and there was alot more paint being thrown than i had ever seen before. I brought a friend along but he was even more scared than me(he'd never played before at all).Well i payed then sat to watch a few games. Speaking of paying, the prices are a bit much, you pretty much half to buy half a case to really get a fair deal on paint, and if you go on Mondays its 1/3 the field&air fee and 1/3 rental cost, which is way better than paying their regular prices. Well after i played the first game i kinda got into the flow and had a blast. Then the next time i came, there were some really nice guys there and i had alot of fun again. But then these dudes with ions came(and brought their own paint, which your not suppose to do but they didn't get caught so whatever.) and no one really wanted to play against them,we all had rentals, except me, i had my spyder victor III.The refs and staff are really helpful, i had a ball chopped in my feed neck and couldn't get it out(bolt was stuck) so i had a ref look at it and he got it out and lubed the bolt and put it all back together(for free)The field changes its layout like every 2 weeks or so i think, which adds variety, but keeps it balanced. Also safety is a first here, making sure everyone has a barrel plug on and masks on when needed. If your hit they make sure they let you out of your bunker if your taking alot of fire. They make you watch a instruction video if its your first time and make you chrono when you first get there.I will absolutely go back to this field again and again.
~~UPDATE~~
Went to a young gunz tourney, and I must say the experience was awsome. As soon as we got there we were happy to see a table with our name on it waiting for us and plenty of room for all our gear. My team did bad(not the point) but reffing was VERY good.they had three refs on each side, two refs laying down in the middle of the field, and a ref by each deadbox. Prizes were good and registration wasnt much. They chronoed every team before every match, which made some teams rush. LIke if you had just played a game and it wasnt back to back but after the next game you were up, you'd have to clean off hits and get paint and refill pods and get to the chrono before the game ended. It wasnt much of a hassel though, and I was glad that some of the teams(and the owner) stopped to give us some tips because it was our first tourney. | Last edited on Saturday, June 9th, 2007 at 10:34 am PST |

Ok i go here very rarely. Only if madcow and metro are closed like for weather or tournaments. They do a good job with safety to and extent barrel bags and chrono. But they do play favorites and they have no gun control. Once when i was there so kid with a Angel G7 did a run through shot some 10 year like 12 times in the back and know one did anything. They have a serious problem with older players bonus balling people.
Don't go here if your new go metro or a outdoor field |

Kersplat is a great field for rec and practice. They have a fair amount of retail at fair prices.Rules are aceptional and very fair they have a standard crono of 260fps also they split up the teams very fairly. The refs pay close attention to barrel bags and barrel plugs. The refs are good and make very clean calls no acceptions for anyone.prices are fair all you have to do is walk up and the owner (a certified technician) will fix just about any thing for free. After paying admission all air refills are free.It could use a few more bunkers closer to the break.all the players are begginig to intermediate there is nobody there that just tears people up.Also if you are short one a staff member is glad to join in even the owner sometimes. |

I will state up front that I am a woods ball, scenario bigot when it comes to paintball. I am also a player with a bit of grey in the beard so I do not have legs for a lot of running nor maneuvering. Those are the primary reasons I have held off playing at this field.
Going through withdrawal and looking outside at the snow made me decide to round up the younger members of the family and give it a go. My only regret was that I had not played there sooner.
Good field and excellent staff.
The staff and other players at the field helped me out a great deal with advice and tips on how to better my game. Excellent advice from all.
The field surface surprised me as the footing was good, even with the paint on the floor. The staff did a good job of ensuring the surface stayed in good shape.
Will be a regular at this field.

Field is ok. Paint is a bit high in price. The safty there I would have to say good and bad it all depends on who is refing the game. There seemed to me favorites that some of the refs had for making certain calls for. Bad experance with bonus balling from another player in front of ref(10+ rounds to face) with no call on it. Another friend that was learning also caught 5 balls to the back in less than the 10 foot bunker rule they have with no call. I also noticed as a beginner they really did not balance the games with Advance people and beginners per side. The service department at that place is the best they know alot about all types of guns and are willing to help with small fixes to get you back in the games quickly.
Update: Went back ref's have changed and the calls are alot cleaner. Seems they have tighten up bonus ball calling and balancing pickup teams out. I would have to say my view on this place has gone up tremdously after the changes they have made and are still making. I would recommend this place to any one wanting to learn how to play paintball or wanting to just come out and have fun.| Last edited on Thursday, September 22nd, 2005 at 8:06 am PST |
