Review: ok. first off i would like to say that the previous post was right. But there are some changes i would like to make. The refs he is refering to are not the refs from the field but wear people hired to come out and run the event. the refs that are out there on Saturdays do know whats going on and what to do. the field has made some relay good changes and if u would of saw the field in the summer and then saw it now you could not believe it. things are changing to the best and it will be a good field when its all said and done. I forgot to mention i am a ref at the field im there almost every saturday my name is Greg so if u stop bye say hi lol. what else shuld i say... oh yea Air Ball is comeing and so is a nother scenario or how ever you spell it, but any ways it going to be mad max in the thunder dome and i cant remember the date so, call the shop or just come to the field on a saturday and have a good time and find out. And do me a favor if u do come ask for the air ball field realy loud it would help us get it up faster i hope lol. ok well i hope so hear from yall and just keep playing.

i also serverd under Longballer.. And his hill warrior self

Review: El Alamein
This was my first true scenario game and I must say I loved it. But before I rant and rave about how much fun I had let me get to the bad stuff. There were very few Refs around so not every one walked. there was a lot of wiping and "no I shot you first" going on. I put three rounds on this guy from a flank and he turned to shoot me. I saw all three rounds break on him so I was in shock that he returned fire. so I did what any true baller would do, I opened up on him. If three true hits wont get you out of the game then lets try half a hopper. The Refs were also kinda lost as to what was going on during the game. But hey, lets cut them a break, they are there out of love of the game. But they were still lost at some times. The field was wicked cool but could have a few more add on's. some areas are kinda unsafe and dangerous. in fact a few places some one could get seriously hurt. so a little extra time to the field would not hurt. THE FIELD PAINT ROCKED. fresh stinger boxes, great orange fill that was gooey and not runny. the shells broke easy but had the power to fly straight. I didnt talk too much to the staff but they did come up and give me and a few guys some hints. I didnt ask why nor did I want to know. But the staff well they rock too. we did get a map of the field to use during play but im sorry to say, it sucked. its very poor to look at but I cant complain too much about it, some one drew it up for our use. i sure other places have better maps but if I was asked to make one I would say screw you make it yourself. so a BIG thank you for all we did get. small shop with nothing I needed and thank gawd for that. GET MORE BATHROOMS. let me say it again. MORE PLACES TO CRAP!!!!

LONGBOW if you are reading this, it was a pleasure to serve under you and congrats on the Captain Morgan hill stand.

Review: Pros - There is a taco bell 3 miles down the road

Cons - 1.The refs are bad
2.Un-Organized
3.The fields are bad
4. The netting is bad
5. Many Younglings
6. You can only fill your air up to like 2000 on a good day
7. There isn't any shade
8. The paint is stored in a trailer that is a bagillion degrees
9. No one cares about velocity ( there is a chrono but they dont really enforce using it )
10. The people there know nothing about fixing guns

Would never recommend this field to anyone who is serious about paintball

Review: This is the Field i frequent the most in my area. First time i went there it was the first time i had played and the guys were really helpful. You get two choices of paint Shrapnel(cheap) or stinger. First time out i used a really crappy Spyder i picked up cheap, and i couldn't hit anything with it. One of the staff running the lace let me use his angel for a few games, which was nice i cant say i know too man people who would let a gun like that outta their sight. As far as them not knowing how to fix markers, yea that is true if you have an Autococker, Spyder or Tippmann you are fine. Move into anything other than that then you are on your own. The hyperball area is quite well done only down side (to me) is the sand. If you get a slide wrong your barely ends up FULL of sand and yea, that isn't good. The village is by far the best area I love the urban warfare aspect. Unfortunately they haven't got the woodsball up and running yet. The brush is just too thick to walk through so its being worked on. As it stands as a new field its pretty good and it gets better every time i go out.

Review: This field is a pretty basic one. There are three fields. Not the best fields but on the hyper ball field there is some sand, so it makes it a little bit easier to slide and run around. They have friendly staff. The refs there were very good at watching to make sure that you have not been hit. Also they look at your skill level and they show you little details to help improve your game. The problems with this place is lack of lobby space and marker knowledge. Your rest place is an unshaded field with spools for tables. The shop is a shipping container where they house the balls and air. And if you have a high end marker, get to know it before you go. I took my Nerve and I had a minor problem and the guys there wouldn't touch it. The guy who was looking at my Nerve couldn't figure out what the problem was so he went to ask another person . The guy said "I'm not touching that thing." "Why?" I asked. "Because if i break it i am going to owe somebody a lot of money." That was exactly what they said. So unless you have a tippman or something of that nature, know your gun. Now to the paint. The cheapest 2000 count paint was $38. But they also had some evil paint and I think Diablo paint but that one I couldn't see well in there shipping container. All and all it was a decent field to go out and spend some time.

CFP - Pros play there. Lots of cheating if you dont get a CFP reff to watch the game.

Paintball Experience - Friendly, you get a good mix of n00bs and skilled players.

Adrenaline Dunes - HUGE place back when i played (b4 they got robbed) i got lost out there. It was good then, not sure how it is now.
Review: NOTE:

The airball field is getting repaired next week. And we are going to slowly turn it into a hyperball field (yay!) over the next few months

We have plowed the ground TWICE and cleared away all the crapola and planed grass there. This will beome the new speedball field. its gonna be soooo nice

With recball, sorry about the elimination games all the time. we do w/e the players want to play. just give us some ideas. Its a really big field with 3 bunkers, we just need more reffs.

Woodsball is...woodsball. what else is there to say? eventualy we will build some forts in the woods and have objective games.

For those of you who played at Tac Edge, Dale is now our new manager out at the field. stuff gets done and it gets done fast. games roll quicker and its a good thing.

As for the nets, we know. the wind rapes the nets on a daily basis and we are trying to fix it. eventualy we are goint to instal permanent nets that will be up all the time.

Right now, with the way things are, i'd give our feild a 7. things should be alot better by the end of summer.

Review: The field is pretty nice. Airball , woods, and a field i don't know how to classify wide open with lots of hills. No fields really have an objective except to eliminate so some can go on for a while. There is no field fee just field paint only. The paint they have is fairly cheap but not of the best quality in my opinion. In order to play you have to go to the shop which is in Winter Haven, buy your paint then drive 30 mins to the east side of Lake Wales to get to the field. A very big negative in my opinion. The shop was stocked nice but no one really knew a lot about paintball so when you ask for something they wouldn't have an answer. Once we made it to the field we spoke with the owner, once again not very knowledgeable about paintball and the way other fields are run. Not many safety rules are enforced, Such as chrno area in wide open no netting and no refs were watching for mask in this area. The large open field has netting but was sagging so low balls could make it into staging area.
Ref's were good guys to talk to but only 2 to work all fields they couldn't do their job as they could with more help.
I think in time with suggestions from players the field could run a lot better. You can tell they have the right ideas just need better planning. Rating 3 out of 10

I Went back to the field yesterday in hopes of the field being improved from my last visit. They were suppose to be having a tournament but only 2 teams showed. After talking to one of the refs i think i'm more disapponted than before. They have added a hyperball field but it looks homemade and not in good condition. I arrived around 10 a.m. and there was about 15 people total playing. Since they now charge a field fee and require field paint, 15 people on a saturday is not worth the money i can do that in my backyard. When i pay to go on a field i want games going all the time not when the few people that are there feel like it. I'm dropping my field rating to a 1 because like i said the field is just a glorified backyard game only it will cost you 60-70 dollars to play here
