Review: 13 of us booked the field for a Saturday. Half of them had never played before and throughly enjoyed themselves. Mike (Owner) and Scott (referee) were very nice and helpful. Prices were reasonable for rentals and paint. We were allowed to bring our own paint if we desired and pay a little higher for the field fee. Rentals included 500 paintballs and equiptment, all for $25. Paint was only $10 for 500, or $36 for a case.

We played woodsball, field very long and a decent width. Lots of bunker of wood and logs to hide behind. Creek was dry and easy to traverse. Field is just the right size for about 8-10 on a side.

Planning on a private again in about two weeks.

Review: This field was set-up really nice. They have a pretty good size building for set-up, buying paint, air fills, etc. The prices are very reasonable, even for buying field paint. They allow carry-on paint too. There was no rules speech that you would normally receive before the start of any play, which struck me as odd. I'm so used to hearing them that I could have done it myself. There also was no rules/enforcement about rate of fire, which didn't seem to bother anyone till a regular showed up with a suped up gun and started spraying a bunch of new players we had brought along. Didn't seem fair to put a bunch of rentals against that.

The guy running the shop was pretty knowledgable and very nice and helpful. Always pleasant to speak with and really helped out anyone who needed it. The ref that was working, supposedly, spent almost every game sitting on a log or staring out into space. Several times a paint check was called or people were screaming that they were hit, and this ref did nothing to stop the paintballs from flying towards them to give them a chance to get out of the game. He also didn't catch the guy that continually would call himself out, then somehow would continue playing.

Anyway, the woodsball field was one of the best that I have played on in a very long time. Very clean, really long, lots of bunkers and angles that made every game worthwhile and challenging. Didn't play on the speedball field, but the grass looked overgrown.

All in all, it was a pretty enjoyable day of paintball and I will be back with my friends to play here and would suggest to anyone to at least play their woodsball field once and they'll be hooked too.

Review: Very good for both new and experienced players. Also good to just play for fun because it is cheap and there are small groups most of the time. Owners are very friendly to players and enjoy helping if needed. Paint is $10, N2 is $1 per 1000 psi, and co2 fills are $3. Provide drinks and sometimes food 4 cheap. Refs are fair and flexible to the players' desires. Easy 2 make friends of all skill levels.

Review: I havent played a walk on day here but I have played in a 3 man tournament that was this places first event. If you have ever put on, reffed, or even participated in a tournament then you know how much planning and effort these things require. Its a complicated ballance of keeping people happy and keeping things fair, and it never goes off quite perfect no matter who you are. The Paintball Valley staff ran a very good tournament in my opinion. It was well organized for a 26 team two division round robin. WIth finals their was 300 something games. All in one day with a lunch break. It took them a while to enforce the 15bps limit (which they neglected to post on the net) but they got around to it about the third round. Thats better than never. The reffing was pretty usual. Not bad but not great. The guys were trying to get the call right and were a little indecisive, and at one point let the fans of another team get the best of them but other than that unnescessary incident they did fine. Considering that this is their first tournament I am very impressed with the job they did. I'd definately play another tournament here in the future. Thanks guys for all the hard work you did to accomodate us that day.

Review: I have been around this field for a long time. I can remember when the speedball field wasn't anything more than a big pile of brush and thorns. I am not an employee but i have enjoyed working next to and with the staff of Paintball Valley. The field is right down the road after all. The field is very well kept. The staff is very nice and very concerned with safety. Both of the fields are very exciting to play on. The speedball field is small but it is very fast paced and offers many places to hide. although it is a 3 man field, we have played 6 on 6 many times. It gets crowded but its still a blast.
The prices are very fair as well. Cases were 36-40 last time i was down there which was two weeks ago. Every once and a while, they will pull the grill out and grill hotdogs, and will also include a grab bag of chips and can of pop for around $2.
Crono's are a must at paintball valley. If your over 300, then your not on the field. Mike and the staff do a good job to make sure that everyone is playing fair and safe.
This is a field overall for any player, from begginers and pumps, to experienced and shockers.
I recommend this field for anyone who enjoys or would enjoy learning how to play paintball.

Silent Sniper Park, No woods bunkers. Little cover advancement. Safety issues need addressed. Overall rating-5. Needs much improvement in the woods field and the X ball field needs to be bigger. No matter what skill level you play at, overall , the facility at Paintball Valley rates much higher than Sniper Park.
Review: Paintball Valley is a great place to play. They have recently added a speed ball field which has made this place even better. One thing that stands out is how clean the floor in the woods field is. It has many bunkers and large trees for strategic maneuvering. The tree canvas alloys little direct sunlight to the player which provides a very comfortable playing experience. Safety is highly enforced which lets you concentrate more on having fun than getting hurt. The nets are also placed close to the field for onlookers to enjoy the competition. If you havn't been here you need to visit. Great prices as well as great service. To the ones making this place an awesome place to play, THUMBS UP!

Review: THIS PLACE IS AWESOME!!!! I brought a group of people (mostly corporate type newbies) to this field and each one of them fell in love with the game. The customer service was incredible. If your personal marker breaks, or malfunctions...MJ would fix it. The supply cost was perfect...they even fed us. That's right, FOOD. This field has become my primary woods-ball field. I highly recommend this field.

Review: I took my first trip to Paintball Valley just last week. Finding the field was quite easy, take 16E as if heading to Zanesville, at the Wendys/gas station, take a left onto Dayton road, go on for a ways over the hill and keep an eye out towards the left that says Paintball Valley. You will take that country road past a house and down into the parking spots for the field. I read the review on this field that talked about going past a house and thought this was going to be lame because basically you get the idea that the field is being run out of someone's backyard, but I have to say the single field was impressive.

I really liked the aptmosphere, the players that I played with were really courteous, fair and showed good sportsmanship, something I wasn't generally used to unfortunately. I had a bad experience with the first gun I rented from the place, but it was made right and I feel very satisfied with my visit. Safety is given an A+ on this field as well, masks are enforced to be worn and barrel covers/plugs are worn off the field. The staff is extremely friendly and make you feel comfortable asking questions, highly recommended field for newbies.

I would like to see more fields added but the single field is pretty spacious with a dry creek bed and bridge to add to interesting firefight encounters. Bunkers & log piles litter the field for excellent cover and a safety net wall provides an excellent chance for non players or interested individuals to watch the game without getting hit. You can rent their equipment for a low price of 35 dollars, this includes a mask, gun, co2 and 500 rounds to play with. Air refills cost only a couple bucks and you can even bring your own equipment using your own paint, or buying theirs.

I would definately change my rating from an 8 to a 10 when more fields are added, but I have made this field my desired place to paintball for many months to come.

Review: This was the first time I have played at a public field and it was a blast. The guys out there have their game face on! I went last night and they had a large church youth group there. We played several games in the woods and then I watched a few rounds of speedball on their airball field( That was cool).

Best of all, on Friday's, there is no field fee! You can bring your own paint or buy theirs ( I bought 500 rounds fo $10.00 and it shot great.)

They have all their info on their web site.

Shoot ya later!

Great atmosphere and far safer than some other fields (sorry I will not bad mouth another field in this review)
Review: I decided to play at this field for the first time today. I had already been in contact with the field because several new players from work had decided to get together and go play. The email was responded to very quickly and Mike was very helpful and understanding. The customer service was outstanding.

The drive to the field was fairly straight forward and easy to get to. The field is about 3.75 miles north of HWY 16 on the left side of Dayton road about .8 miles north of the stop sign. There were signs up showing the entrance to the left. You first drive down a driveway towards a house, but dont let this distract you or make you think you are in the wrong place, or think this isnt going to be a good field. Nothing could be further from the truth. Continue down the driveway following the signs to the left. You'll go down the hill and come to the parking area and the shop.

The staff were very freindly and knowledgable and helpful. We had a new player to the sport and she was a little uncertain and timid. The staff and other players helped explain things to her and helped her to have a good time.

They had several tables setup both inside and outside to use for your gear. Rules were very clear and safety was first and foremost. Prices at the time of this review were outstanding. $10 entry fee, and $10 for 500 paintballs. You can either BYOP or use the field paint. CO2 fills were only $2 for my 20oz tank. All in all you cannot find a better deal at other local fields. They had Tippman 98's to rent and also Nitro servicing. However I did not use either.

Currently they only have one woodsball field setup. However it was very well layed out with no brush, but plenty of trees and various bunkers to use. The trees provide a very nice canopy to keep the sun off you. The angles and bunkers and trees for cover is very balanced. It provides for good playing, firing lanes and manuvering. It also makes for good teamwork to be used. There is a small portion of the field on a hill that allows for good angles also and a small stream bed that flows through the field. The streambed is deep enough to hide in and advance through if you arent afraid to get muddy or if its not flowing.

The field is large enough for about a 12 vs 12 but no more than that. There is also a good safety netting up that also doubles as providing an area for people to be able to watch most of the action.

Overall I was very impressed with the field. The prices, staff, and field quality make this field one that I will come back to many times. It has a good fun freindly atmosphere that is missing at many larger fields. The owner not only says he believes in making it fun and resonable for everyone, but he backs that up with the great prices and service. We played all day using various tactics and teams and the games were always fun and never got boring or repetetive. They have many improvements in the works, including an additional field up the hill, and they had spoke of wanting to do an inflatable speedball type arena.

I gave this field an 8/10 because of its wonderful customer service and well laid out field. When the aditional fields are added, this field will be even better and may push the 9 or 10 rating for sure.
