I have been to this field twice in the last 2 weeks and its been great both times. The fields are good(the woods ball course could use a bit more cover however) and the hyperball and x-ball fields are well set up with them rotating the x-ball field layout every so often so no one has a huge advantage over someone who as never been there. MR. V, the Owner is great, very knowledgeable and polite, not like some other operators I've met. all of his products are very reasonably priced as well as their paint, he will charge you 5 dollars to fix your stuff if you take it to him and its something he really has to work on, but sometimes thats worth it. Their HPA goes up to 4500 you do it yourself, and the CO2 fills are good too(get a ref), with very reasonable prices for all day air. The refs are somewhat useless if you are playing a small game like 3v3 as they would rather sit on one end and talk to each other and not check people, but if you get their attention they are very honest and will run through crossfire to get to a paint check when they hear you and aren't too busy screwing around with their own guns., however, all in all I think this field is one of the best small fields I've played, they did a good job with the space they have and there aren't too many expert players to discourage visitors. I will definitely be returning to Spring Hill Elite in the near future. |

The owner and his services provided are really great, i have been to fields all over the us and 1 in brazil and i must say Mr. V runs a pretty tight ship. His fields do need a little bit of help, but does have a nice clean psp xball field with a snake that you can nicely slide into. Paint prices are very reasonable, i opted to purchase a case of the dxs triumpth, it was great shooting paint for 35 bucks we put it through a pmr, marq7 and an eclass orracle and didnt chop anything, but back to the field. 15 bucks if you buy field paint which is very reasonable considering you get all day air. The Ref kept games going even though my friends and I took our sweet time to get rolling. I got the pleasure of playing a few games of airball with mr V's daughter to whom i apologize for reffering to as "the girl" who as well as her team were extremely talented. I would highly recomend this field to anyone looking to have a fun day of paintball without being tormented for their style of play. everyone is super friendly and are willing to help out if you need it. |

I played there once, was in the area :-)
(Note: This field is at the time, they suposedly have a new one now)
I play X-Ball, so I didn't do anythings off the airball field. They have a NPPL (Now an X-Ball). It was ok, not my style of play but thats my problem, not theirs. Refs were ok I guess, cant really say anything bad about a kid who watches instead of plays, god bless. The people were nice(ish... but thats another personal thing... lol) and the shop is great. Prices are fair, I paid about $45 for the day (Field, Air, a case of paint) which is what I spend up here.
If your a rookie (D4/Beginner) then this is a good place to practice at. If your any higher then I suggest another field because there arn't (or at least from what I have seen) any upper d3/d2 players.
I give it an 8, im too lazy to go into detail but as fields go it's run the way it should, charges what it should, and they keep people safe. Can't ask for more than that, eh? |

I just went yesterday and I could not be happier. I went to this field before it even became a business and when it was still owned by Dr. Dave and a group would play for some Saturday fun. Prices were cheap back then and they still are now. The store manager Mr. V is the most curtious person you will meet. He makes deals with you and sells good paintball guns and etc. He sells 2 rental packages $35 for a tippy 98 + all you need and 500 rounds of good paintballs or $55 for an Ion rental package with 500 rounds. For regular players with their own gear it would only be $15 for all day air and field usage. He also sells you Ion with HPA tank for a reasonable price. The fields they have are hyperball, speedball, airball, and a attack and defend. All 4 are great to play on and personally I like the airball. All the bunker fields have evenly set bunkers and a good amount of them for fair play and great fun. This field is a family owned so you will see alot of them walking around with utmost care and interaction with the players. I will always go to this field when I play since I live very close and I know the people there as well as enjoying time with buddies to the fullest. Highly recommended field.
Oh yeah, the local team plays there too, but don't be intimidated by them, they are nice people who will help you in any way.
Also rules are enforced such as keeping your mask on when in field area (of course) and barrel plug on each time a game ends. I had one of my friends getting yelled at cause he won't listen. Thats just my friend though, he is a bit absent minded sometimes :D.
Beware, Mr. V has a son and daughter and they both kick ass. Last game I bumped up directly to the snake off the break just to get hit on my visor with the daugther's pink paint >:(. Teams were 4vs4 however my team consisted of me (3 years experience) and my 3 best friends (first timers) vs owner's daughter, other guy with an Ion or Epiphany, 1 of my other best friends and a rec baller. My friend Brandon got pissed at me for not picking her, but hey you gotta try out experienced players to become a good player :).
All in all, check this field out, you'll be glad you stopped by for a great day of paintball.| Last edited on Sunday, August 5th, 2007 at 9:23 pm PST |

My son is 13 years old. This is his first experience with paintball. I have researched various paintball field in the Tampa Bay and surrounding areas... it appears Elite had the highest recommendations. So, 45 minute to a hour dirve from Tampa was a bit longer than I was willing to drive (for a paintball experience).
The fields are better than expected. The players are mostly teens with their parents. Very family oriented hot spot. The staff are very courteous and informative. The mini-scenarios were well organized. There are three fields, Air, Woods and Speed. My son had the BEST time of his (13 years) life! The drive was worth every minute of it.
A word on the mini-scenario... Wow, the players are older, experienced and serious about this game. Very helpful with the new (and younger) players. As a mother, I was a little concerned in the beginning. But, having met many of the scenario players I felt much safer with my son out there with them. They all play by the rules... no excessive or over-shooting, no face shots, etc.
The prices are very reasonable.... $15 for all-day field with free Air. The paintball price was very reasonable... (I forgot the price, but it was comparable to Walmart pricing) Players are asked to buy their paintballs at the shop. I didn't mind because their prices are so cheap!
I'd take my son back to Elite.... Got to go there for the mini-scenarios. It was a lot of fun... and taught my son alot about team work and strategies. I'd definitely recommend Elite field for all new beginners and experienced players.

It's a great field , safely operated , great staff , strict refs, i didn't mean to but i got into a tiny argument with one of the refs , you can have pizza , rent a halo , ion or a tippy 98 ,
restrooms , chronograph , large attack and defend fort , speedball field and two different
woodsball fields , rent a nitro tank . heres a big tip avoid playing the guys with the fully
upgraded indian creek guns unless you have anything better they'll massacre you,
plus they didn't chrono their guns |

Ok if ur just starting out elite is the place to go if u live in the area. if ur a tournament player i would go to gator or take a drive and play at cfp there is MUCH BETTER COMPETITION there. but if your starting out i would go to elite. i play at elite when i dont have enough money or my team (Sentinels) doesnt have practice. |
