The field is a nicely wood region, providing large amouts of natural cover without having to compete with thick brush. While this field is smaller than 2 others I have played on. I found the size much more to my liking, as it made the games go faster and reduces time between games for purchase of ammo.
I definately prefer the outdoor games, to the indoor settings; games indoor last 3 minutes which is just much too short.
I would definately recommend this field to anyone that is looking for a good, fun, paintball experience. |

Although I had a tiny bit of difficulty finding the location once we arrived everything went smoothly.
They had multiple fields for both outdoor and urban-type battles and the pace set by the refs was quick but managable for all of us involved. The staff members were knowledgeable about both their own guns and mine and helped to tune my gun to the field regulations.
The pricing was extremely reasonable and safety was taken very seriously.
The weather wasn't ideal for my visit (chilly and damp) but warm (and protective!) overwear was available which I took advantage of. The rest area was heated by a gas heater which gave our group a nice place of respite.
Overall my experience was overwhelmingly positive. |

I operate a youth centre in the Bowmanville area and we had contacted AAG about sponsoring a day in the fields for the youth. It wasn't long after we received word from them that they would give us 24 passes and 500 paintballs each! What a great contribution to the youth centre, and an excellent offer :) The day itself was pretty hot, but the trees were a nice shade when we entered the field. We played the Village and Long Barrel/Short Barrel and both offered unique experiences to many firsttime paintballers. The man in charge was very pleasant and the referees who came out to help on this day were very helpful and fun to work with! We look forward to bringing more youth next time, and having as much fun as we did on this day :) |

RLD some years ago - it was a fun place. Too bad its gone. |

Today was my first time at this field, bringing both novices and experienced players with us. Our crew was joined by some walk-ons of another smaller group and the games worked out well.
We were given the intros to the rules and the safety quickly, and on to the field within 30 minutes of arrival. John was an excellent, friendly and helpful host, as were his refs. This is really important in any business that provides service - that you feel welcome and appreciated for being there.
The fields were diverse, and in fact we just used 3 of what looked like a half dozen possibles. Speedball, village and a barrel-base in the forest. And oh my lord the speedball is a deadly setup. Caged in, but with front-row seats for spectators to enjoy the brutality and to call out all manor of cheers and warnings, you dodge, dive, and leap for the very little cover there is. Shots ping, pang and plunk off of inflated triangular barriers, a few stacks of large tires.. and before you know it, the other team is on top of you in a corner, or you on them.
We got rained on a little bit, but it just added to the feel of the game really. And it was fantastic to find that their masks had little fans built in which cut down on the fogging up issue (maybe bring your own 9V battery though, some didn't work).
Many thanks to the AAG staff for an excellent day for the Firehouse Youth Centre crew!

I played at RLD Games for about 16 years before it closed down. It was a bit bigger operation which allowed it to be a little more organized. |
 |
Directions to the Field: |
Follow the directions on the web page. Go north on Green Lane, and just after the sod farm on the left side is the entrance to the playing fields. |

Lets starts with safety: A couple things need to be done:
- Fields need proper markings for boundaries...ropes or caution tape.
- There also has to be a proper area setup for players that have been marked. At the moment, they just stand behind the flag station. This not only creates the opportunity for them to continue to get hit with paint, but is also very distracting to player trying to capture the flag. One of the fields has a small A-frame set up for this purpose, but there needs to be something on each field. A small area roped off with construction fence or something, just off to the side of the flag stations, still in the view of the judge just so no active players take advantage of the added cover.
FIELDS
-Fields are very good. There is a mix of heavy under growth, open areas and heavy dead fall. They also have a field with a "town" that offers a nice change from straight forest games. One feature I really liked that RLD Games did not was that the Speedball field use was included in the fee. Yes it's not as big as some speedball fields, but it's also a really nice change from just straight forest games.
HOURS
We arrived at about 8:30, and we were up and playing by about 9:45 and played right through until 4:00 with lunch about 12:30. The day we went it rained like you wouldn't believe and we actually had to stop playing a couple times because of lightning, but we would have got in about 10 to 12 forest games if it didn't rain, along with added speedball games.
PRICES
Prices are great, best prices I've seen! Check out the website.
Everything else was great, owner, refs, all the refill services were there, staff was friendly, they take and post pics on their website which is great. Food was pizza, all included in the days fee.
OVERALL:
I have over 20 years playing paintball, I have played at a couple different fields. By far, this had to have been the best time I had playing. My kids were able to join me(12 and up) , lots of friends from work, and people I had just met. A great mix of players and great attitude from the staff made for a great experience. Again, if the couple things can be fixed,(field being marked, and proper marked players zones) this field would be an awsome experience for everyone.

Newcastle outback - found it to be VERY expensive for gun owner walk on fee and expensive paint compares to whats arround |
 |
Directions to the Field: |
use google maps to find 4100 green rd, bowmanville ontatio.
Once you figure out how to get to that address, the field is the NEXT driveway NORTH of 4100 green road and. Take that driveway and keep driving straight, you will practically drive into the speedball field. |

Overall i would HIGHLY recommend this field to new and experienced players.
Couple of things i liked about it:
-->EXCEPTIONAL customer service - they treat you like royalty, dirty mask? the refs will clean it, hungry? the owner gives u free lunch (all u can eat pizza). This was our first time playing there and the owner was ready to give an arm and a leg to satisfy us. VERY impressed
-->VARIETY - i only played on 3 fields but i hear there are more, 1 speedball, 1 town and 1 kind of bushball with barrels for bunkers
--> PRICE - for the quality of the field and only 6 cents per ball regardless of the amount purchased, what more could you ask.
Couple of things i didnt like:
-->SAFETY - although they take necessary precautions, there are no dedicated safespots after being shot out of a game, you simply wander off some ways back where you are least likely to get hit. When i did that, i got shot at numerous times and the ref had to stand right beside me because ppl kept aiming and shooting.
--> PAINT - the paint itself is kinda crappy. Dont get me wrong, im as cheap as they come and will buy a white box of seconds before anyone else, so my standrads for paint are not very high, but even this stuff made me think twice. HORRIBLE odor, VERY hard shell, i took one in the middle of the chest and it simply bounced off.
--> SPEEDBALL FIELD - its an okay field for a 2vs2 or a 3 on 3 game but it needs to be longer, there are no real opportunities to move up and gain an advantage since when you move ahead even one bunker, youre already in the middle of the field.
If the owner reads this - 3 suggestions that he may want to consider since it shouldnt be too expensive to make the changes.
-Make the speedball field a little longer
-Try switching paint suppliers if possible without increasing your price. If it calls for a price increase then keep the stuff you have since it is playable just not the greatest.
-Dedicated safety area |

I just got back from AAG in Bowmanville. I had a blast today playing with a group of 12 people. These guys go the extra mile. You are made to feel like a regular, and the customer service was the best in my experience. The balls are INEXPENSIVE and so is the entry fee. Pizza and pop for lunch was included, as well as coffee.
I would go back for sure!
This is a great value field, with a couple woodlands, and some speedball setups.
Hannu (owner/manager?) went above and beyond to make sure we all had a great time!
Well done gents!
ps - good equipment too, fans in the masks, and Tippman markers |

The field is an awesome place to play - safety is the most important thing at the field - fun is a close second. John (I think) gets the games going quickly after checking us in and makes sure everything is going great during the day. Prices are fair and the field is way better than others in the area - lunch is included in the price - I've had both pizze and BBQ's there - Both were great. You will not be disappointed |

Today I went paintballing for a party at Action Adventure Games (AAG) we had 16 people, we all go treated equally, ate pizza, played speedball, the village area, and the woods, we did not play the 2nd woods area, but most of all we had a good time , we were treated fairly, and equally , no one got hurt (badly :P) It was a great time, especially at such a low cost! I rocommend this field to anyone!
Thumbs up for AAG! :P |

We went there with group of about 20 people on Sunday Sep 30. There was already about 30 other people, and very quickly more people were coming, at 9:30 when game is starting -they have checked about 80-90 people. It was great 2 huge teams of 45 people each, more than enough “meat” to have real blast.
People with own equipment were checked and guns were adjusted to 295fps, it took almost no time, 29$ for all day with food in between. 30$ for 500 paintballs, 4 $ for coverall if somebody didn’t have own clothes.
Stuff was very friendly and helpful, you could feel they really want you to have a good time, refs, were cleaning masks after each game, they were explaining and answering all the questions. They love what they do, and you could feel that. With so many people on the field, I saw just one situation when one 35-50 years old guy got so upset at something and started to scream at ref. he handled situation very professionally, then in 5 min I saw same guy coming back and saying that he is sorry, and this games makes him so excited that he cant explain his behaviour, it was really fun to watch.
It is really safe place; they watch you all the time, even with so many people in the game, all the safety rules were strictly adhere.
Woods are great, plenty of cover for everybody, lots of action, village was great. There was one game where you have to collect the 5 flags walking across entire forest, with so many people in the game it was the best game I have ever played, I felt almost like in some offensive in Second World War.
I had a blast so my friends, we will be coming back.
