Newcastle outback - found it to be VERY expensive for gun owner walk on fee and expensive paint compares to whats arround
Directions
to the Field:
use google maps to find 4100 green rd, bowmanville ontatio.
Once you figure out how to get to that address, the field is the NEXT driveway NORTH of 4100 green road and. Take that driveway and keep driving straight, you will practically drive into the speedball field.
Review: Overall i would HIGHLY recommend this field to new and experienced players.

Couple of things i liked about it:

-->EXCEPTIONAL customer service - they treat you like royalty, dirty mask? the refs will clean it, hungry? the owner gives u free lunch (all u can eat pizza). This was our first time playing there and the owner was ready to give an arm and a leg to satisfy us. VERY impressed
-->VARIETY - i only played on 3 fields but i hear there are more, 1 speedball, 1 town and 1 kind of bushball with barrels for bunkers
--> PRICE - for the quality of the field and only 6 cents per ball regardless of the amount purchased, what more could you ask.

Couple of things i didnt like:

-->SAFETY - although they take necessary precautions, there are no dedicated safespots after being shot out of a game, you simply wander off some ways back where you are least likely to get hit. When i did that, i got shot at numerous times and the ref had to stand right beside me because ppl kept aiming and shooting.
--> PAINT - the paint itself is kinda crappy. Dont get me wrong, im as cheap as they come and will buy a white box of seconds before anyone else, so my standrads for paint are not very high, but even this stuff made me think twice. HORRIBLE odor, VERY hard shell, i took one in the middle of the chest and it simply bounced off.
--> SPEEDBALL FIELD - its an okay field for a 2vs2 or a 3 on 3 game but it needs to be longer, there are no real opportunities to move up and gain an advantage since when you move ahead even one bunker, youre already in the middle of the field.

If the owner reads this - 3 suggestions that he may want to consider since it shouldnt be too expensive to make the changes.
-Make the speedball field a little longer
-Try switching paint suppliers if possible without increasing your price. If it calls for a price increase then keep the stuff you have since it is playable just not the greatest.
-Dedicated safety area

Review: I just got back from AAG in Bowmanville. I had a blast today playing with a group of 12 people. These guys go the extra mile. You are made to feel like a regular, and the customer service was the best in my experience. The balls are INEXPENSIVE and so is the entry fee. Pizza and pop for lunch was included, as well as coffee.

I would go back for sure!

This is a great value field, with a couple woodlands, and some speedball setups.

Hannu (owner/manager?) went above and beyond to make sure we all had a great time!

Well done gents!

ps - good equipment too, fans in the masks, and Tippman markers

Review: The field is an awesome place to play - safety is the most important thing at the field - fun is a close second. John (I think) gets the games going quickly after checking us in and makes sure everything is going great during the day. Prices are fair and the field is way better than others in the area - lunch is included in the price - I've had both pizze and BBQ's there - Both were great. You will not be disappointed

Review: Today I went paintballing for a party at Action Adventure Games (AAG) we had 16 people, we all go treated equally, ate pizza, played speedball, the village area, and the woods, we did not play the 2nd woods area, but most of all we had a good time , we were treated fairly, and equally , no one got hurt (badly :P) It was a great time, especially at such a low cost! I rocommend this field to anyone!

Thumbs up for AAG! :P

Review: We went there with group of about 20 people on Sunday Sep 30. There was already about 30 other people, and very quickly more people were coming, at 9:30 when game is starting -they have checked about 80-90 people. It was great 2 huge teams of 45 people each, more than enough “meat” to have real blast.
People with own equipment were checked and guns were adjusted to 295fps, it took almost no time, 29$ for all day with food in between. 30$ for 500 paintballs, 4 $ for coverall if somebody didn’t have own clothes.

Stuff was very friendly and helpful, you could feel they really want you to have a good time, refs, were cleaning masks after each game, they were explaining and answering all the questions. They love what they do, and you could feel that. With so many people on the field, I saw just one situation when one 35-50 years old guy got so upset at something and started to scream at ref. he handled situation very professionally, then in 5 min I saw same guy coming back and saying that he is sorry, and this games makes him so excited that he cant explain his behaviour, it was really fun to watch.

It is really safe place; they watch you all the time, even with so many people in the game, all the safety rules were strictly adhere.

Woods are great, plenty of cover for everybody, lots of action, village was great. There was one game where you have to collect the 5 flags walking across entire forest, with so many people in the game it was the best game I have ever played, I felt almost like in some offensive in Second World War.

I had a blast so my friends, we will be coming back.

Review: One of the most thrilling components of Paintball is the setting of the game, and AAG makes sure that one is completely covered. Set in a forested area, finding cover and advancing on the enemy seem more realistic and therefore more exciting. The many houses and bases also make it possible to experience a more "urban-like" game as well. Also hosting a great Speedball area with great obstacles, AAG is a forefront runner in Durham Region Paintball fields.
Safety is another component of Paintball that is very important. Supplying masks, coveralls, checking rentals and having very careful referees are only a few things that AAG does to ensure the safety of their players. Good quality nets and harsh punishments for breaking the safety rules are other great ways that AAG tries to protect thier paintballers.
Prices are another thing that most avid Paintball players are concerned with. Priced at just under $30 for complete rentals (Includes gun, mask, 100 paintballs and free CO2 refills) AAG is competitive with any other field in Durham Region. Cover-alls can be rented for $4.00 and each paintball is priced at about 5 cents.
The staff can be refered to as nothing less than outstanding. Not only are they extremely friendly, but they have no problem taking the time to explain the basics of the game. They get each player set-up and ready to go in under 10 minutes and have them playing the game in record speed. Both humourous and ready to oblige to the needs of the player, the Staff at AAG are no doubt amazing.
Overall, AAG and my experience with them has been nothing short of amazing. So, if you live in the Durham Region and like a little more of an agressive game of Paintball, check out Action Adventure Games and have a bruise-makin', welt-growin' good time!

Review: I've played at srg. Splatters, and omg compared to those indoor fields this was was killer, alot of space to move and easy enough to hide, u dont come out covered in paint after leaning on something, very clean

Great place all around, john was very helpful, along with the ref's. Very clean safe enviornment, if u dont mind the drive, id recomend this place among others.
just remember the mosquito repellent lol , with that, your totally fine

Review: The owners and workers were great very knowledgeable very helpful. the fields were good lots of bush to run around in but hard to shot through the heavy bush. First time there was a walk on and I was late I think they would like to start around 9-930, but got me into the game quickly and feed everyone hotdogs and pop for lunch. I would recommend this field to anyone, great spot ,great people!!!

I played on two other fields, which were smaller then AAG. One was indoor and the other was an outdoor field.
Review: I found that AAG was a pretty all around good field. Their prices were just, and the fields were nice to play on. The Village scenario they have setup was an intense firefight, with enough brush to provide cover for an offensive, and enough buildings to warrant a complete firefight in the town itself. The Capture the Flag field was hardcore brush, but cleared enough to navigate with ease, but plenty thick enough to mess up shots.

As for the staff at AAG, they were well mannered and very helpfull in many ways! Pictures were taken AND provided via email. Not to mention they have a "Shot of the day" for he/she who got the best hit. I cleaned house with that award by taking three hits to the left side of the neck. One heck of a bruise. However, the owner (I dont remember his name... :( ) was extremely helpful in makin sure I got it bandaged up and cleaned.

I'd recommend this field for a 30 person size group, who's lookin for a good afternoon of paintball.

Review: This was my first experience at AAG and it was definately a great one. All the fields are outdoors and very well layed out. We started in just a wooded area playing capture the flag, the woods were thick enough to provide great cover but open enough to get into some great battles. The seond field was a 'Urban Assult' layout with several building in a open clearing in the woods. The multiple buildings and surrounding wooded aread provided excellent senerios where tactics could play a big part. Finally near the entrance was a speed ball area made mostly with large tires and wood boards. The field was well layed out with great areas for those not taking part in the speed ball to watch and cheer on teams.
The cost was pretty much on par with other feilds and they do allow you to bring your own gear but can rent if needed, cost of balls was fair. Although the fields are great, the best part by far was the staff, very friendly and truely seemed to enjoy what they were doing. They were also very helpful, I had a few problems with my marker that day and they were glad to lend a helping hand. The games were started quickly and run very well. Overall this was a great experience and I highly recommend this field to anyone.
