(775) 727-5752 is their phone number. Lisa or Bob, the field owners/operators, will be more than happy to help you with directions
COPIED DIRECTLY FROM THEIR WEBSITE:
From Las Vegas:
Take Blue Diamond Road - by the Silverton Hotel - which is Hwy 160. to Pahrump. As you go thru the mountains the road is a 4 lane highway - seperated. 12 miles before the Town of Pahrump the highway narrows down to a two lane with opposing traffic. One mile after this point is a sign on your right which says "Welcome to Pahrump" ( although the town is actually 10 miles a head). At the same place where the welcome sign is a left turn lane. This is the very first street before you get into Pahrump itself - the street is called MANSE. Turn Left here. GO to the stop sign ( HAFEN RANCH ROAD) and turn left again. Go 2 1/4 miles to just past the elementary school. The road forks here. Take the LEFT fork. ( Also HAFEN RANCH ROAD) This is a gravel road. go 2 miles to the end. ( H & S Lane) You will see the entrance signs to the field on your left. Turn left into the field complex. |

I first visited this field about a year ago. Right from the get go Lisa and Bob have been very friendly and helpful. Their facility is literally their backyard and they take GREAT care of it.
They have compressors on site to accomodate 3k or 4.5k compressed air fills. They have rental equipment available. Also they've recently changed their policy to allow players to bring their own paint. *BUT BE SURE THE PAINT YOU BRING IS APPROVED*. They allow most brands, but NO walmart paint, NO pink fills. They do carry WPN as well as a few other brands for purchase on site at very reasonable price. The office also has drinks and other refreshments available, And Lisa usually hands out popsicles in the afternoon!!!
They have a very nice staging area. There are plenty of tables AND SHADE!!!!
Currently they have 4 fields. 1 air field, 1 'scenario' field, and 2 rec fields. I'm a tournament player so I've only used the air field, which Bob takes great care of. Most of the people who play out there are regular patrons and we do what we can to help ref and maintain the fields. Bob does a great job of setting up the field, and has a new layout each week. Recently he's been setting it up to reflect the various XPSL layouts for the '08 Bakersfield event.
I live in Vegas, so it's about a 45 minute drive to the field for me. Their service and family feel to the facility is well worth it. Lisa and Bob are great people who deserve your business!!
The only thing that would make this place better is another air field

Even though I have limited experience in PB, I feel this place absolutely ROCKS! Various types of field play, food, great setup areas, and wonderful people. Gave a couple of hookups when my some equipment went down. I had a hang over so they hooked me up with some Advil. Even the players that showed up to play with their new Christmas presents were wonderful. There was a group of soldiers, a tournament team, and other ranges of newbies that made the entire experice awesome. I recommend this place to anyone who might be in the area (Las Vegas), wanting to have a great time.....and their is a strip club right in the area too. We didn't go to it though so find out for your self. |

After the news of SCP closing I finally made the trip out to Pahrump to check out this field(s). The drive is not too bad it took me about 45-50 min to get there with minimal traffic and that I live near Westside Paintball shop. The place itself is not too hard to find, if you follow the direction on the website it’s a breeze.
I arrived about 9am on Saturday to find only 3 other people but more came soon after I got set up about 20 in all, might have been more but this was the weekend before school started so that might have been a factor.
Cost of entry was $15 which includes air
They had several types of paint ranging from $40-$50
I used the field paint (WGP) for $40 and it was pretty decent stuff
The rental guns were well taken care of and if you wanted to spend a few more dollars you could rent others guns including Ions
The staging area was fairly well shaded and it had lots of tables and chairs. It also had a sink and a hose to wash equipment, drink, or cool off with.
Food/Drink wise they had a vending machine in the staging area as well as some items in the main building, they also set up a BBQ with hamburgers and hot dogs. I would recomend bringing a cooler with your own drinks to save yourself some money.
The owners are real nice people they came around with free Freezy pops on several occasions. They take good care of the fields and enforce general field safety. The refs that were working at the time were pretty dedicated to making sure that everyone had a good time.
There are 5 different fields to play on:
Air ball field: Standard 3-5 man inflatable bunker field. Bunkers were well taken care of and you played on actual grass
Jungle field: Small field with metal pipes painted in camouflage colors and lots of plants. This field was covered in those soft wood chips found on some playgrounds. I felt this field was designed for the younger players as most of the bunkers were really low to the ground (snake like bunkers)
War Games field: A medium sized field with Big foot tires and cable spools for bunkers. Field is played on grass, and has slight slope to it. Only problem is the bunkers were spaced a little far apart so moving is tough.
Hostage Rescue: Cool scenario field consisting of a small play house and several tin screens. Attacking and defending teams have different vantage points, great for those smaller scenario games. This field is currently being painted so that the bunkers look like cars and the house is a Wal-mart or so I was told
Giant War games field: The field is HUGE. It is basically a Giant assault field with a flag on one end. This field was the only one that did not have grass. Lots of tire bunkers, bushes, and trenches as well as two metal silos near the middle of the field. Felt like playing in junk yard. Field was made for a large group of people (10+ people a side), if you don’t have that many a lot of the fun is lost running up the field as it is so big.
They recently added a “Nerf” ball area played with air powered foam ball guns (which could be bought in their store) this was designed for really small children aged 3-9

I can tell you this....prices are ok, fields are taken care of nicely, bunkers and facilities are up to par.
Things of note:
We showed up very late with probably only an hour to an hour and a half of play time. Regardless, Bob was great about letting us have our few games in. He even went into the safety procedures and was very professional about everything. I'm not out in Pahrump/Las Vegas often enough to go out there and play when I want, but I would definitely choose this field over the LV Sports Center anyday. The refs were cool and made sure we had a good time. They even let us play a couple more games AFTER closing time.
Thanks for the awesome time on your field! |

-The first time I went to Pahrump Paintball I was extatic. I felt that the air ball fields were great and Bob was explaining the SAFETY rules. I had a blast, but the prices were outrageous. I mean come on its not like your shooting paint made of gold and I don't mean X-ball Gold.
-Prices: $15 entry
$8 for air........co2 is$5 or $10 I don't know for SURE!!!
-Field: The two air ball fields were GREAT, they had grass! Really.
They also have a BIG wood/tire field and a scenario field.
-PAINT- THE PRICES WERE OUTRAGEOUS $50 for a case on a
"FREE ENTRY" Day on Thursday. Jeez.
-Tournaments- Fun, but expensive which is to be expected.Marbalizer
paint was required. <can anyone say expensive>
YOU CANT BUNKER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT?!
TO: Bob and Lisa- Lower your prices. And Paintballers will come. HAVE your bunkers set up and aired up during the whole buisness day when you open. Don't take this the wrong way "which you probably will" I'm only trying to help you.| Last edited on Sunday, November 26th, 2006 at 3:30 pm PST |

As the best man, I arranged for my friend, the groom, and the groom's men to play paintball for the first time, after indoor skydiving in Vegas, for the bachelor party. I had no idea what to expect, as it was a first time playing paintball for all of us, and I was pleasantly surprised. Lisa and Bob, the owners of Pahrump Paintball, answered all of our n00b questions over the phone before our arrival in Vegas. While the drive is an hour or so from Vegas, it was nonetheless a painless cruise of some beautiful desert. The playing area consisted of three fields, more to be added soon, which included a cornstalk-fox hole-mini-tower section, a bare field with a minimal giant spindle-protected rapid chaos shooting section, and a giant "balloon" dotted section--sorry if I am describing the fields in complete nontechnical terms. Lisa kept us well stocked with water, air tanks, and paintballs. Mind you, we had the wonderful experience of going on a Friday; consequently, we were the only players on the fields since the weekdays are reserved for private parties. We ended our festivities with a nice ranch-style barbecue. Overall, the experience was great. |

Great help from workers, good deals on paint, co2, and markers with gear, fields constantly changing each time i go to improve field quality, worth the drive from north las vegas, haven't been able to find a deal for military people like the one here. first time playing speed ball with multiple people and enjoyed playing it almost more the scenario play on one of the two large scenario fields. excellent opportunity to bring new paintballers to try out and they will get hooked after playing here, my last time there yesterday i brought three new players and have gotten them hooked. everyone is welcome, even little kids which makes playing with all levels more fun. safety is key here and rules are strictly enforced. i promise an enjoyable time whenever you come here, the drive may seem long from the vegas area, but coming here and seeing the two speedball courses and two main scenario fields will quickly make you forget. i recommend if you come here not during the week during traffic to come through the blue diamond way. we mainly came the opposite way through indian springs and that took a very long time. we tried going back the blue diamond way for the first time yesterday and were home in not time compared to the other way. less than an hour if you drive with a sense of urgency ;). hope you all enjoy.

This is one of the best fields I have ever played at. It has two diverse and well taken care of Airball fields and two Recball fields (GRASS..WHOOPY). I am a speedballer and really appreciate well maintained fields. The layouts where nice also. The refs where young but well supervised and tried their best to interact and control the game. The only bad thing is that the young refs where very indecisive, but that comes with maturity and experience. One thing I will say is that the owners dont just sit around in the office and hope all is well, they get out amongst the paintball action and make sure that all is running smooth. One of the owners is a NPPL certified referee so he tries to train his refs well and doesnt put up with any favoritism or crap. The staging areas are the BEST I have ever seen from a local field, they are well shaded, clean, plenty of tables/chairs, and the field provides towels and cleaning supplies. I also appreciated the fill station, easy to use and actually got a 4500 fill for once. The owners just put an Under 10 youth field too, its awesome for young and up in coming balers. All in all this has to be the best field I have ever played at (Along with www.23bps.com). TAKE THE DRIVE YOU WONT REGRET IT!!! The owners are awesome, the fields kick butt, and youll have a great timeOne of the best fields hands down!!!!| Last edited on Tuesday, April 18th, 2006 at 7:14 pm PST |

My friends and I recently had a bachelor party in Las Vegas. Since we were looking for a few different activites other than the normal bachelor stuff, we figured that we would give paintball a try. The owners of Pahrump Paintball did not let us down! There were twelve of us and I can honestly say that everyone had an excellent time. Lisa & Bob were both very hospitable and showed us a great time. None of us were very experienced with paintball but we were immediately shown the ropes and having fun in no time. They allowed us to rent the fields for a 3 hour span, which was perfect for our group. There were four or five fields that all had something different to offer. We really enjoyed the fact that they were outdoors.
Although I have not been to many paintball facilities, I have a feeling that this one is top notch. It will certainly be on our Vegas list of things to do for our future trips. If you should have any questions for me, my e-mail is plannermead@yahoo.com |
