go all the way doen 16th and you will see a big sign that says banners plus. Then turn into the side of the building.
Ok its an ok place. Its kind of trashy but kinda clean. In the in-door field all of the broken paint is just sweped to the side of the corner. All the air bunkers only stay up for like 1hr. Also there is a bunch of rocks in there so i recomend to not slide that much. But the barrel bunkers are ok theres a smake, stand ups, etc. There is an air ball field thats ok. Its pretty much for experenced players. Its all blow-up bunkers. But they trew in some tires and stuff like that. the staff should kinda step up and particapate some more. They dont even reff its every man for its self pretty much.
the snacks are an okay price and the rental is ok, but they have 94 tipmans there kinda wrecked,
but if you have a problem with your gun they will fix it in a heartbeat soo thats prety good. In all I think its pretty average. ;]
go down 16th street till you see banners plus on the left. the feild is in the back
ight guys this is how it goes down.
wild west is a good starting place but you will not get anywhere ONLY playing there.
i used to play there EVERY saturday and sunday for about a year and i started getting better but the problem is is that there is no competition AT ALL.
nobody there is any challenge whatsoever. me and a cuople of my freinds (the only ones at WW that were good) would go there and we could never be on the same team because almost all the people at WW were either scared to play us or were scared to lose or get shot or something.
to be honest if you are passing through yuma dont even bother. it is a waste of time and money.
there is no challenge.
now. the ONLYYYY reason i would ever go back is because of the owners. they are definetly the best feild owners possible. they will do anything for you and are extremely helpful.
yuma is a small town so there is not enough money to be made to expand the feild and make it worthy for advanced players.
this is a paintball field for the crappy players in yuma. noone from out of town would appreciate it.
The atmosphere is great there... u can meet a lot of other ppl, u could start teams there, once in a while there are tournaments... idk its pretty good... Saturdays are mostly for experienced players, and Sundays are for beginners. But don't let them fool you, some of the begginers are pretty good...
The fields are OK.
there could be better prices...
entry fee $10 - ok
CO2 refill i think 10 cents per oz... - its ok i guess..
Compressed air refill- i have a 47/30 and they charge me $3... idk... dont really like that price
Rentals are $35 (i think) and it comes with a Tippman 98 with hopper, small CO2 can, and i think 500 balls (it's been a while since i have rented)
a case of paint (no big brands like DraXxus, or Proto or anything) - $45 or $35 check with someone else that has gone and bought paint from there
snacks/drinks are 50 cents to $1... pretty fair prices...
u could also bring ur own paint, food, drinks, w/e
as for the fields themselves they are pretty good...
they have 1 speedball field (approximately 200 by 100ft i think) and a small field... idk what you'd wanna call it...
The speedball field:
i personally like it... it has a setup of air bunkers, a snake, car washes, cans, standups, doritos... the works... but they get deflated like withing 1hour or hour and a half... and it takes em a while to re-air them... i HATE how theres so many rocks, paintballs, broken shells, and rough ground in the speedball field... the owner says he's getting turf so thats a HUGE plus for me... i cant wait till he does... im gonna be sliding all over that thing like a 7yr old kid with his slip and slide with cooking oil, soap put together... until then bring knee pads, elbow pads, and maybe a chest protector if u want... their summer hours are now 5pm - 10pm and thas pretty good because im not a morning person... and at nights they have stadium lights but only from the right side of the field.. so anything on the left side of the bunkers is pretty much under perfect stealth unless u have bright jerseys, pants, shirts, etc.
the small field:
in my opinion, i dont like that field. Only because im a tall guy and i can barely fit in the bunkers... its really hard to hide behind the stand-ups also because its only like 2 or 2 1/2 feet in width... so SUCK IT UP! it gets really hard to see there also at night... but there are no air bunkers AT ALL!... there are tires, cans (literally), and so on... but the ppl that play there are USUALLY beginners... that field also has a haystacks in them as bunkers (only a few) and it has its pros and cons... pros- it drops hay on the ground so it makes it more comfortable to kneel or lay down... cons- the hay hides the rocks, paintballs, and stuff so when u lay down or slide u could hit a rock and IT WILL HURT!
ok and now for the other stuff... that ppl dont really mention sometimes....
there are only refs when somebody feels like reffing... soooo lets say u go with ur friends... and u want a ref... one of u guys has to be a ref or u have to ask someone that isnt playing... and no u cant play and ref at the same time... and when somebody usually does volunteer to ref, it is only 1 person... maybe 2... but no more than that... so ppl can cheat easily, or ppl will not notice hits on them and they'll keep on playing and so on... so there is a lack of organization... but the owner is a good guy... he plays with us, he gives us advice, he does make the games as fair as possible especially if you are a begginner...
pros- good ppl, good atmosphere, owner is great towards us, 2 fields, 1 is completely air bunkers (I LOVE AIR BUNKERS!) the other is just wheels, barrels, etc...
cons- paintballs are a bit too pricy for my taste... idk... im going to start using paint from walmart (x-ball, or impact are the best they have)... fields have rocks, paintballs, and rough terrain in some places... if ur gonna do crazy stuns bring elbow/knee pads...
i gave it a 7 because the big field could definitely have some improvements done to it...
but i still go there.. its fun... i enjoy it

very small dirty field i think the very first paintball ever fired is still rolled up in the corner.almost every kid regardless of their experience has some form of high end electro so your going to catch many many bonus balls there is almost never a ref and co2 tanks are either over or under filled.other than that the owner is pretty cool there are a few really good teams that play regularly prices are good they are in need of some new rentals over all for an experienced player its not too horrible Sunday's are probably best for newbies.
The field is a very cool place to go because the people here are very friendly. They help you with gun probs of some sort. The mini shop there has every thing you need in order to play paintball. They also sell drinks and snacks. The rent guns and other gear as well. They have two fields one is smaller than the other. They only have refs at tournies. It is safe becuase like they enfource the rule of haveing a barrel plug until your actually in the playing fields. And masks have to be worn at all times in the fields evan if your watching only. But over all its a good paintball place to play
its a decent field I would give it a 8 out of 10 there are two courses a speed ball course and a bigger field. the owner is a very friendly guy. they sell everything you need to paintball.you must have a barrel plug on when not playing(enforced).when in course must where mask.I have also have played in phoenix.
no other fields in yuma, however i go to pheonix 23BPS and it is ALOT better
This field could definitely use some improvement however it is nice. They help all beginners and have 98c's for rentals, they have paint but it is somewhat on the expensive side. Safety is a little bit on the bad side as the only time that there are refs is on tourny days or if someone just feels like going in to ref and not play. two fields, one of which is extremely small and so you must be quick, and another that needs better lanes so everyone does not get hit off of the break. All in all it is worth checking out but if your a veteran then you will most likely be displeased
Wild west is the only field i have ever been to. It is really cool though. they have one speedball field and one sniper field which has a small sniper tower in it.They do 4500 ci fills and co2. they rent 98s and sell stuff all the time.the people there are really friendly. you can just start up your own game whenever.
