Johannson used to have a field around town and it was pretty cool because of all the bunkers he had there.It was also different in that it was one huge field and you used the whole thing and just picked different bases to start from.But no refs and no rules, hence his being closed down.
We also have our own small field with a tower and tons of smaller bunkers, for such a small field and only havin 3 or 4 people play at a time it's remarkably fun out there. |

Ah, Paintwars.Many beautiful summer's days and even more hard earned bucks spent there.The field is relatively huge and consists of several smaller fields that make up the whole.Also a very versatile field in that you can use just the smaller parts or the whole thing, depending on the game.They also offer lots of different simple scenario type games to keep things interesting while you play.The refs know their stuff but whatever you do don't shoot 'em because they'll never let you hear the end of it.The equipment is pretty good, though most of us bring our own.Also every now and then the hold a full-scale scenario game such as the Dawn of the Dead scenario we played March 29, and the upcoming Cops and Robbers Scenario on August 14th.Things seem to be pickin up and popularity is growing here.The field and the players have evolved over the years and it's still the best place to play paintball I've ever been to. |
