This field will be growing and changing every month now that the owner roger is putting all his efforts in it. The Castle field is being updated and the play areas will be expanded for all types of play from BIG to small. This field and all of its staff are fun friendly and family oriented. It apears all the staff are bringing this field back to what this sport was intended for...FUN & FRIENDLY entertainment for everyone. With the monthly scenario games ran by the owner (Roger) starting again this field is going to be a huge sucess. I suggest everyone tries this field at least once. |

Roger who runs homeland will make everyones time there worth it. Roger, his mom and Froto (the big dog) were very welcoming! I have never been paintballing but the idea of having my 20th birthday out there sounded like a blast. I had a group of 15 friends go out. not everyone paintballed but he made sure everyone had something to do. Some went fishing, he brought some girls out on the field who just wanted to get some action shots (with their camera), he built a bonfire and we had hot dogs and marshmellows. anything you need you'll get. The course was awesome. So many places to hide. The castle was amazing. Wether it's your first time ever paintballing or you are very experienced the course is for everyone and roger will make sure you have fun! Very cheap prices. $25 to play all day. He provides all the gear, guns and the air. you can bring your own paint or buy from him. safety is number one. i would reccomend this course to anyone. I know you'll like it! We played a game where you have a group in the castle and a group out of the castle and you have to try and raid the castle. then we played fox and hound. even though i had no idea what i was doing roger gave me hints and made sure i got some shots in. =-) Definitely check it out. We plan to go back again soon. we were invited to camp on the grounds and go fishing in his ponds, and of course paintball. Everyone there had a great time and can't wait to go back. It definitely made my birthday the best i have had yet. |

First off I wanted to note that the reason I decided to play here was because of what others here have stated. They were right. Roger and his mom are two of the nicest people you will ever meet. He was more than helpful with anything we needed. We had 4 people that were basically new to paintball and he made sure that everyone had fun. The castle field is great, many many bunkers for both sides, lots of cover. I personally liked the speedball course the best. It was nice because once people startet leaving, he let us play pretty much whatever we wanted. We will deffinitely be back for the night scenario.
The only CON was the heat, but you can't blame that on the place, mother nature does what it wants. |

My friends and I went out to Homeland this past weekend for the first time. This Field is huge, tons of hiding places in the Castle, and speed-ball fields, and just plain kick butt woods! The prices are cheap, and you can bring your own paint for FREE! Rodger the owner did say that the prices will go up a little this July! but not much. The only thing we did not like was it was a nice weather day on a sat, and only 10 players total all day! IF you could get more to come it would be awesome, they said the events they have are a huge draw so we will have to make one of the events, or bring more buddies!
Hours were like 10 am to 6 pm sat and sun |

This field is the best one out there. Roger, the co-owner is just awesome. The field is Huge and the refs are fair. Ken, the other Co-owner totally knows what he is doing and he is probably the best paintballer I have ever seen in person. This field is an absolute must. |

homeland has gone through alot of changes over the years all of them good. The castle field is like a giant maze inside the castle, and a huge area outside with lots of cover, towers, and all types of structures. The staging area overlooks the castel field and is completely covered with a roof and netting, great for watching games. The speedball field is one of a kind in this area if you have never played a hyperball field you should give it a try.Prices are lower than most places around, for open play.Rules are standard and well followed.Air to 4500 psi ,and co2 are free with $15 entry.Refs are cool and are all about customer service.Players are always cool and honest.check them out at homelandpaintball.net!| Last edited on Monday, December 11th, 2006 at 4:55 pm PST |

After spending countless weekends rounding and shuttling friends of my son to play at our farm, we decided to give Homeland and DZ a try. Homeland was just AWESOME. The owner goes over and above to help out folks, from experienced players to first timers. Free Air, low cost fees and reasonable field paint are huge plusses...you can bring your own paint and he's willing to work with with folks on markers and equipment.
We even approached about setting up a practice area for SPPL training!
He has an incredible setup for church groups, scouts or large groups to play, local folks in the area that can help ref and train...all in all a great opportunity to play.
The Castle is pretty cool, though if I must add a comment...completing the second castle would be a HUGE plus to the playing field.
All manner of play is available from Woodsball to Speedball to Scenario play.
Looking for an awesome place to play? Easy to find? Affordable? Great staff and Refs? then this is it.
See you on the field! |

I dont know what to say but that this place was amazing, we were able to get our own games going while the ref was setting up the people that just showed up.
The castle field is by far the best anywhere around here. lots of places to hide, and even more to shoot people from.
Hyperball is a great layout, and a lot of fun to play on
The ref is great there, very good about watching for people having a mask on. really nice people there too. they let us stay for an extra hour or more becuase we all still had some paint left. im deffinently going back as soon as i get mu funds back up |

Dropzone-Has AirBall and theres always people to play with which is a plus but dropzone is more expensive, with bad judges, a speedball field with bunkers that seem to be caked in old paint. |

Our First time to Homeland was a bit of an experiment. We just heard about it and were a bit worried that we would drive over an hour to find a lame park with no one else to play with. Turns out Homeland beats DropZone into the dust. We play all day free air with only 15 bucks field fee on their awesome castle field which must be a few football fields, and a NPPL speedball lay out which kicks @ss.
Safty is a BIG priority and they'll let a kid sit a game out for takin off their mask but don't take it wrong, there not jerks there just keepin' your eye balls on ur face.
------------------------------------------------------------ -----------------------------------------------------------
We showed up to the Haloween event on the 28th at Homeland and had a great time. When we heard about 60+ people and strobe light speedball we couldn't NOT check it out. It was fun but not quite what we were expecting, We weren't expecting it to be a kid's event. Teams were mostly kids which is great for a few rounds but after mowin down a row or two of them u kinda feel bad lol. We played in the first 1 hour scenario called Werewolves v.s Vampires which was our first scenario game, and it too was mostly for the kids 15 and under. Each team had a flag to be raised or lowered (keep urs up and theirs down kinda thing) and there were props u could find and return to a judge for points. Also there were death dealer cards which pretty much gave someone 15 or under the ability not to get out unless he got shot in the chest or back. The kids got a kick out of this which was cool. The sides didn't seem fair though. They started by the castle with lots of cover and we didn't get much. We wern't having much fun in the scenario so Kenny let us go to the speedball course for a while to play some 1 on 1's which was really cool of him to trust us like that.
Bon Fire and Food and then to the speed ball
The speed ball was interesting. people wore glow sticks on their mask and gun and turned on the strobes. One of those things you think about but never get to try. we played a 3 on 3 with the spot lights on with another Team and won but it was hard to see, especially with my tinted lens, so the victory wasn't exactly official. It was cool but I got someone out with out knowing it and shot at the little glow sticks not realizing they were out.
Two bad things i think they should work on
1) Friendly Fire was ridiculous. Me and a teammate must have been friendly fired 4-5 times. Some more refs would be nice to regulate a FF to an Out or have them be called out as well for shootin their own team.
2) Our team went to the speed ball course alone for a while which was cool of the judges but we didn't get to play anyone else on the course until it was dark.
(No matter what happened at the event the park still rules and everyone there couldn't be nicer) |
