Review: Well first of all I would like to say that if you are looking for a day of fun and are new to paintball, by all means go there! However, if you are a little more experienced with paintball and care a little bit more about the fields condition, well I would recommend xtremez paintball Vancouver, but it's a little big of a drive. Portland paintball is not that bad of a drive .But.......... Well let me give you the ups and downs

UPS:
Short drive
Nice staff
experienced staff
fairly good prices
not too many people
guns in good condition(but you will probably have your own gun)\
very good with safety

DOWNS:
Not great lighting
feilds a little bit small
viewing area covered in paint(but youll most likely be playing not viewing)
feild is a mess(but its paintball what do you expect)
A little under kept
So in the long run it is an OK feild

Review: Safety- They are really on top of this. Nothing happened to me, but they are always yelling at kids that dont have their barrell condoms on and stuff. On the field, they really watch you which is good for someone like me that hasnt played that long.

Hours- They are open 6 days a week...thats great. you can play any day you want, which is better than the outdoor cause they are only open on the weekends.

Prices- low and they have good paint

Rules- I always follow the rules, I am too afraid of getting caught breaking them...but I know some people that try to get away with stuff...its just stupid really. Everyone is there to have fun.

Staff/Refs- The people that work there are really cool, they are nice and even help you out if you need it.

Proshop- I take a look around when I am there, and they have a lot of stuff...I'm only using a basic Tippmann 98 package, but maybe one day I'll upgrade.

Facilities- I havent gone anywhere else thats Indoor to compare, but it seems like they try to keep it clean. The bathrooms could be better but there really isnt much you can do when everyone goes into the bathroom with paint on their feet.

I really like playing there and I tell everyone they should play there too.

Review: Possibly the best field i've ever played

The refs are very fair and cool they take there time to help you with whatever you need . If you need your gun fixed they will take care of you

They always try to make the teams fair but sometimes if a team asks to stay together the teams might get a little uneven but if you tell them you think there unfair the will mix them up.

The prices are very cheap

The field is huge for an indoor

The store is alright

The players there are very helpful they will give you tips and won't over shoot when bunkering

They have two types of games a low tech for beginners and rentals and a high tech for more experienced players

I give this field a 10 out of 10 for all types of players

Review: I went back in November or October, can't remember exactly. The staff were nice and reffed the games well. My major complaint is with the management of the field. I don't like going there just because I don't like getting all that grime and dirt on my equipment. It'd be a much better place with more light and if it was kept cleaner. I'd recommend trying it at least once if you live near.

Review: Buyer beware of giving them your credit card.

I chose Portland Paintball to host a birthday party for my son, partly because of favorable reviews I saw on this site. The overall experience was satisfactory, and the staff was knowledgeable and helpful with the equipment, but it was a poor value overall. For a 2-hour private party rental, they have a tiered structure, where they charge $250 for up to 15 people, and $325 for 16-20. Since there were 14 when we started, I joined in, figuring it was paid for anyway. I was not notified when another boy arrived late (or else I could have sat out), and the attendant insisted that I was liable for 16-20 people. Technically, there were 16 present at one time, but I felt cheated because I was not notified of the arrival of an additional player, and they did not charge per-player, but per-tier. After paying over $520 for 2 hours of refereed field usage, rental equipment and paint, I never want to do that again.

The indoor field and facility was very dingy and dirty (which is understandable.) For that kind of money though, you could buy your own cheap equipment, take turns with it, and play outdoors.

Review: I heard about Portland Paintball thru a friend who plays often and they recommended going there. I had a lot of fun playing, just a little cold inside for me. The staff was very pleasent, hospitable, sassy, and entertaining. they made my experience fun. I liked the games too. I really enjoyed playing, the set up of the field offers a good variety of obstacles to use in scenarios. I will be happy to play there again.

Review: I brought my sons down to portland paintball today (they've been bugging me forever), and i have to admit i had a great time. the staff was very pleasent and professional. They answered all of my questions and were very helpful. i had no idea how to play, and they helped me shoot my kids! I think everyone should look this place up and stop by. I had a wonderful time.

Review: This place is great! They now have a fully stocked proshop with both paintball and airsoft products. Prices are the same as anywhere online and you don't have to pay shipping. The staff is very friendly and know a ton about the products. Field is large and is always busy, so there is always people to play with. I hear they have a new flooring too! Cant wait to go back!
