Hello All,
Just took my family to Portland Paintball for my son's birthday party and we had a BLAST!!!! The staff was amazing! Nice to deal with and explained everything to us and i don't know how they can deal with all those kids all day running around like that, the place was clean and well kept, Plenty of space to run around and have a good time, Prices were fair, equipment worked perfectly. VERY IMPRESSED! I would just like to say thank you to the Portland Paintball Staff for making everything so easy and fun. The kids haven't stopped talking about all the battles. Good stuff! We will be back for sure and I know most of the kids will be having there b-day party's there too.
Thanks again!

Went to play for a birthday party, kind of had high expectations. Had been looking at pictures and thought it looked pretty cool. Ad says about 15,000 sq feet of space. open 6 days a week, closed on monday.
Pro's-
friendly staff
lots of games to choose from
Con's-
crappy paint
crappy rental gear
crappy field(mud and paint mixture)
airball barriers de flate
expensive for what you get
not 15,000 sq foot field
no pro shop, its batteries and air tanks, thats it
ref didn't do much
too small for the amount of people we had
no food, just 2 vending machines
my advice to you, spend your money elsewhere. go play outdoor. I wouldn't go back here if some paid for me. |

Portland has been the most friendly and helpful place ive been. Ive had acouple of privite groups there plus bymyself a few times. Privite groups are great bc u and your buddys get the whole place 2 yourselves. The staff is cool and are key on safety. You do get a lil messy but u always have a blast. They let u bring in your own food and drinks which is always a plus! |

i am a regualr at portland paintball because i love the place. i have been paintballin for a little over a year now and of the feilds i have played on portland paintball is my favorite. the feild is great they have nice air ball bunkers and tthe staff is way more laid back and friendly than other places i have been to. the best part of the playing there is the reff always makes sure that the teams are even/fair and that everyone is having fun and being safe.
i would highly reccomend portland paintball, its great if u have more expierience or if its your 1st time the staff will help you out with anything you need to get/know to start playing. i mean the feild is a little messy in spots but its a paintball feild kinda hard to keep it clean. but if u paintball regularly or its ur 1st time you sould really give portland PB a try. |

Scheduled a private group, worth the money. The employees treat you nice, the ref fills your paint for you on the field so you can get right back into the action. Inside they clean your mask for you, it was great to just keep getting back onto the field and having a blast. Lots of different fun games were played, if you suggest something you like to the ref, they will play it. Overall had a great time. Will come back again with my party soon. |

I heard some good things about this place and decided to check it out today. OMG this place is not what I was expecting. It very unprofessional looking on the inside. Outside you see a giant warehouse and you expect it to be spacious and modern. Well don't be fooled. I walked in and the guy behind the counter was nice but I instantly thought of that verizon commercial. Thought he better not tell me the towels are kinda scratchy.
I asked if they had a shop. I was standing in it. Few parts and pieces. More like just what they needed to fix there own stuff. I asked for Dow 33 and they didn't have that!
So I ask to check out the field. Take some slippery stairs up and you come to a hole cut out of a wall with some plexiglass on the otherside of a very small cubby hole with some folding chairs. The field looks like someone gutted a basement of a house and threw in some dirt and airball bunkers. It was really small and a square.
I couldn't believe that was it. That huge warehouse housed a horrible business that could have done alot better job. Granted, they did have airball bunkers. Could have been cardboard boxes. |

This was the first place I ever paintballed. I looked back on this place as a great start to my hobby. I had a party there with a bunch of friends and the guys are simply amazing. They were totally patient and gave us lots of little helpers. The cat that they have walking around is dang cute, and I loved the viewing booth they had. They had Tippy's to rent out and were obviously well trained in service and how to service. Their location is perfect, a nice warehouse is really great for speedball. While I can't stand speedball I still had a great time and was glad I went! |

i have only been here once and i am a very inexperienced paintballer so if you disagree with me you are probably more correct than i am. the things that i like about this place is that the staff are quite tight on safety which is good. there is a cute little kat that hangs around but it is very nice but if you have allergies this may not be the best place to go. the field is pretty small but it works fine for me. the things i don like abot this place are that there is no food but you are in portland so i think you can find your own. the field had crappy lights and the ground is made out of sand, bark chips and paiint. I slipped running twice. there guns are pretty nice but the air bunkers are a little deflated so that makes it a lil bit harder. some of the bounkers that are stood upright can fall over very easy. they have a observation area wich is kind of cool if you feel like taking a break from paint ball. thanks thats all |

Well first of all I would like to say that if you are looking for a day of fun and are new to paintball, by all means go there! However, if you are a little more experienced with paintball and care a little bit more about the fields condition, well I would recommend xtremez paintball Vancouver, but it's a little big of a drive. Portland paintball is not that bad of a drive .But.......... Well let me give you the ups and downs
UPS:
Short drive
Nice staff
experienced staff
fairly good prices
not too many people
guns in good condition(but you will probably have your own gun)\
very good with safety
DOWNS:
Not great lighting
feilds a little bit small
viewing area covered in paint(but youll most likely be playing not viewing)
feild is a mess(but its paintball what do you expect)
A little under kept
So in the long run it is an OK feild

Safety- They are really on top of this. Nothing happened to me, but they are always yelling at kids that dont have their barrell condoms on and stuff. On the field, they really watch you which is good for someone like me that hasnt played that long.
Hours- They are open 6 days a week...thats great. you can play any day you want, which is better than the outdoor cause they are only open on the weekends.
Prices- low and they have good paint
Rules- I always follow the rules, I am too afraid of getting caught breaking them...but I know some people that try to get away with stuff...its just stupid really. Everyone is there to have fun.
Staff/Refs- The people that work there are really cool, they are nice and even help you out if you need it.
Proshop- I take a look around when I am there, and they have a lot of stuff...I'm only using a basic Tippmann 98 package, but maybe one day I'll upgrade.
Facilities- I havent gone anywhere else thats Indoor to compare, but it seems like they try to keep it clean. The bathrooms could be better but there really isnt much you can do when everyone goes into the bathroom with paint on their feet.
I really like playing there and I tell everyone they should play there too. |
