Texas paintball, it has a lot of unique fields, but way over priced.
Review: I have gone to Paintball challenge 3 times.

Field reviews
Woodsball- Very fun, I enjoy it a lot since I don't play often. Played on it about 8 months ago so i don't know how it is now. Lots of ways to out flank your enemy
Hyperball- The field isn't in bad shape, lots of good bunkers to hide behind. Only way i can see anyone not being able to fit behind them is if you weigh 350lbs+. I wish the bunkers were farther apart though.
Western style- Only fun if you're doing a 5v5,4v4, or 3v3 any more/less players and the game turns into chaos. It can be a very enjoyable field if you're playing a 5v5 match.

Pros
* Only paid $25 for 500 rounds and a nightball session ( split 2000 round balls 4 ways)
*The refs made games very fast, and invited people to join in
* The refs would call out when someone is elimated so they didn't get shot ( I don't care about this-but it's good for new players and kids)
* The refs made the teams even
* Wide variety of people to play with, wasn't merely new players or pros
* Putt 'N Fun within 50 yards incase you want to do something else, take a break, or go get some food
* The lights lit up most of the field

Cons
* Bunkering is supposedly a problem here, but i never see it. Supposed to not be allowed
* The refs dont chronograph the guns at all, only complain about them.
* Only 3 fields

Does it matter? Do you REALLY WANT to go?
Review: Wow...that is about all I can say. I had such a horrible experience at this field.

Price:
A fairly reasonable price...but you aren't getting much.

Fields:
Midget sized airball...NO ONE CAN FIT BEHIND THE BUNKERS.

Wild West crap thing - WOW...JUNK!!!

Refs:
Ok...this is what really got me. I shoot a DM7...that is a pretty recognizable gun...the ref with a mo hawk asked me if it was a JT paintball gun. WHAT AN IDIOT...WOW! A total douche-hole! How can you get a DM7 and a JT marker mixed up? Who hired him? Must of been the...

OWNER:
Man up and buy a real air-ball field. Try to make your paintball place not a laughing joke.

OVERALL:
The is the WORST paintball field I have EVER been to. Will never go back. This place should def. go out of business...it is just a laughing joke to the paintball community.

Review: ok, im a rookie player, who played at their tournament today. it was the worst paintball experience of my life. nobody knew what they were doing at all.

REFS:
the head ref made up the rules/point system DURING the captains meeting. the person filling my tank didnt know how (he actually told another ref he had never done it before). also, they wouldnt even fill it up all the way. me and my team are using 4500's and they only filled them up to 3000. they didnt call out wiping OR bonus balling (my team mate got hit 10 times and the ref next to him said "oooh thats some bonus balling!" and just stood there). they didnt even know what they were doing when they tried. one ref thought he saw a hit on a players arm, so instead of running over to check like any good ref, he call out (without moving a foot) "player!, let me see your arm! let me see your arm!" also, they use handheld chronos that really suck, had different readings for the same gun on different chronos.

SAFTY:
i saw AT LEAST 10 PEOPLE WITH OUT BARREL SLEEVES. the refs saw them too, they just ignored it. they didnt care if you walked around the field without a mask, either. their "chrono station" (a ref with a hand crono) wasnt even behind nets. it was partially obscured by the nets. the sides and ends were covered, but the back where you entered just had a net running from top to bottom with 3 FEET OF SPACE ON EACH SIDE. there were people crono-ing 2 feet infront of/beside people without masks on. and if that wasnt bad enough, there were plenty of spaces in between the nets for paintballs to get through. there was almost no safety at all.

THE FIELD:
ok, on flagstation they said they just got a "new xball field". it wasnt. it was half xball / half no-name-recball bunkers. there wasnt even an X. worse than that, they didnt even have an entire field. they had 22 BUNKERS! FOR 5-MAN! half the team would get out off the break.

HOW IT WAS RUN:
they didnt even give you a schedule. they had one person calling out the names of the teams right next to the field. nowhere near the staging area. you had to get your gear ready, then wait by the field if you werent one of the lucky 2 teams who got the little area next to it.

CLEANLINESS: yeah, right. everything was covered in 3 year old paint, including the bathrooms. no, they werent port-o-potties. they were a ten-year-old cinder-block building with a door that wont close all the way, and a sink that looked like you would be making your hands worse than they already were.

OVERALL:
they didnt run a tournament. they didnt even run paintball game. that wasnt paintball, that was who could cheat the best. CORRECTION: who could cheat THE MOST. they didnt even call them out for wiping except for once. i dont know about the rec ballers, but if your a tournament player, STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS FIELD AS POSSIBLE. if you can make the drive, go to Paintball Knights in San Antonio. they know how to run tournaments. if you think this field is good, you havent played paintball. the worst field in SA is better that this. also, i dont know what the other guys on here are talking about. the xball field is a joke, they are probably paid to say their good. (im completely serious.)

this field gets a 1, only because there isnt a 0.

Review: ok to respond to this idiots last reply... outlaw paitnball is one of theh worst places to play. on friday, my team and i woudl go out to play with the guys to practice with them and what not. It turns out they cheat so bad. they wipe every time so they wont ever go out and of course, you being the better sport will. the refs dont do crap about anything, they just stand there and watch the guys do it too.

I went to paintball challenge today for the first time and was quite impressed with the field quality. at first when you roll up you dont get the best first impression, but the guys are nice and want you to have fun, which every place should be. I dont know too much about the team there. there were a few walking around but i mean they act like any other paintball team.. thinking they are awesome...

i highly reccommend this place to anyone... rookie or pro...

Review: Paintball challenge is the best place ever!!!! If you are a noob. If your are a person who doesnt want to be serious this place is good. But if your an agg baller asnd think your so cool because you play at pbchallenege then forget it cuz your playing aginst ten year olds with there freakin spyder 99's.

Paintball challenege is for noobs and runed by noobs. The owner of pb challenege is the owner of put n fun and he has no idea on anything baout paointball. The refs there think they are good at paintball but there not theyve been to one or two tournies tops. Beginner...i might add. The hyperball field is nothing but dirt and its oo long. the air ball field? I'd have o say thats a half of an air ball field. Right from the break off on the airball field you are considered bunkering someone. The town? Whats the point?

The pricing is just the same as outlaw. And the local team there that is "sponsored" by pb challenege is a joke. They practice with noobs all day and think they are the bomb diggity. come out to outlaw if your a real tourny player and looking to get better by player better teams. Dont waste your time at pb challenege.

Ill give this a 1 out of ten instead of a 0 out of tem because the only plus about this place is it is noobotron3000 friendly.

Review: The field is very Nice with a BRAND NEW Mini X-ball field along with 2 other courses a Hyper-ball field and a western shoot out type field.

The field's prices are fairly good. $13.00 for a field fee with all day air. with there cheapest paint $41.00 and there Highest for $65.00 or you can bring your own on Sundays for $7.50.

The refs are experienced and are familiar with the sport. and friendly and will help ya out.

They don't have a proshop that they sell parts and stuff how ever they do allow you to put up advertisements if you are buying or selling gear. And they also carry a load of tools if you need to borrow them to fix your gun on the field.

The field has vending machines and with putt putt so close u can walk over and buy some snacks and drinks and a little Caesars pizza very close by.

Awsome field good for getting out and playing or team practices check it out!

Review: Paintball Challenge Park has 2 arena fields and a WOODED COURSE. Each arena field is 100 x 160 feet (16,000 square feet each).

WILD WEST SHOOT OUT - scenario field and CONSTRUCTION ZONE have been built to not only challenge the experienced players but also provide the first time player with fun and unusual fields to experience the sport of paintball. The fields also feature Nightball so beat the heat and play under the lights.

The WOODED COURSE is approximately 2 acres and is availabe for play on Saturday and Sundays during the day.

SUNDAYS ARE NOW--B.Y.O.P-THAT'S RIGHT- BRING YOUR OWN PAINT AND YOUR OWN MARKER PAY YOUR FIELD FEE AND THE $7.50 FEE FOR B.Y.O.P

Excellent Field's, The Refs Are Very Very Good. The Refs Here Pay Attention ToThe Game, And Make Sure You Follow All The Safety Rules. Prices Are Not Bad. They Have vending machines, running water and plumbing. Not One Bad Time Yet.I Will Continue To Use And Recommend This Field.
