Review: This field took over the old Paintball Spot. They did a wonderful job cleaning up the crap from that place and built a world class paintball field. There are several large speedball fields of all types, a mounds field, and a small but well done woods field. All of the fields are kept clean, the speedball fields feature grass that is kept mowed.

The refs are plentiful, and keep the games going at a good pace, down time is kept to a minimum between games. Some of them are ignorant of some of the rules, but for the most part, they do an excellent job. There are a couple refs who are outstanding. The field manager keeps the refs working, and everything running tight. Safety is #1. The refs do a pretty good job of enforcing this, as they should.

This is a field paint only field. I don't have a problem with that, except that the field paint is crap. It doesn't break in the gun, but its so small that it runs past most ball detents and barrel sizers, its not a big deal for the open bolts, but for pumps and closed bolts, its a big hassle. I wish they would at least offer a few more choices with different sizes. Problem is, most of the players buy a couple cases and blow through it as fast as they can. They wouldn't notice if it rolls out or not. Those of us who don't do that are constantly frustratedtrying to keep the ball in the barrel long enough to shoot it. Other than that, the stuff marks ok and flys straight most of the time. I swear the stuff is .67 cal.

I rate this field an 8, I like everything about it exept for the craptastic paint. Check it out of you are in the area.

Review: The Paintball Central store was about 5 minutes from my house so that was nice but the field was about 45 minutes away. I went there on and off. The fields were great, they had woods ball, a speed ball, and a mounds field. The refs were nice enough but they over used there authority sometimes. But the refs never seemed to get the teams right b/c every game that i was in was a blowout. I have to say that the fields were some of the best fields i have ever played at so that is a plus.
