Review: I went on opening day with a couple buddies. The fields were decent, seemed like a long hike just to get out to the Alamo. There was a speedball course right next to the pro shop. It was ok, wasen't alot of speedballers there. They could've had more refs so that you could do more than one game at a time, it was about 15 on 15 with the total number of people there. Prices were good, $55/case. Had a good meal deal with 2 hotdogs, chips, candy bar, pop for $5. All in all i give APB a 6 out of 10. Need more refs and better organization, too many people standing around just talking waiting for a game. A BULLHORN or AIRHORN should be used to signal next game, just got tired of standing there waiting, the more playing i do the more paint i shoot. So lets go!!!
I may be back.

Review: Alamo has a great staff and friendly people and referees. They have a new covered staging area that is roomy and easy to get things setup. Their staff is friendly and keeps games moving. The Woodsball fields are good for all players and the new alamo field gets better with every improvement.

A great place to get out and play some recreational games. A good mix where every game isn't speedball.

Review: Alamo Paintball is great, it has been moved to a new location, which is even better than the old one. They now have a Speedball course, a Hyperball Course and 2 other woodsball courses. Plus they have the Alamo course.

Field/ Air is cheap: $15 entry with all day air.
Field Paint Only: $55 per case, $15 per bag, Good Quality Nelson Paint

The owner, Brady, is a great guy, his refs are great, the whole place is just a great environment.

Review: ATTENTION, ATTENTION, Alamo paintball/Farm Land is under new owners. I just want you to know the Stender family recently purchased this paintball facility and they really have no idea what they are doing. They recently sponsored a tournament in Cologne and really skrewed it up. They didnt know how to ref, for instance he would just say hit from 45 yards and say they were out and then run close and say thay they werent hit. It was chaos. He also jipped people out of money on the C02 refills, I saw many people getting about 7oz in a 24 oz. My buddy got a 20oz "filled" and it was empty on the 1st shot. I spoke with the owners and they said they were having problems with the C02 refilling but continued to charge insanly high prices. I just thought i would warn any1 that decides to throw some money towards this company. Because that is all you are doing is throwing money away. They think it is a get rich quick sceam but are ruining the reputation of a once very good company with great owners. Thank you and God Bless.

Review: Farmland paintball is a lot of fun and has a great woods ball course. It has a really cool alamo game that is fun to play. The staff is really great they know a lot about paintball. The speedball field is ok it is just barrels and ply wood but is still a lot of fun for the average paintball player. There prices are great $4 for entry fee and $17 for paint. Over all farmland is a great place to go and have fun for not much money.

Review: I've been playing here since I started paintball. The first thing i'd like to say is Steve and Donna are some of the coolest people I know, they are friendly and like to have fun, yet are professional. First I will start with the negatives, the speedball is not very good, its barrels and pallets, but there is alot of holes inbetween these, its a lot of fun but you get alot of splatter. They are not open all the time, they only have like 4 open play days a month, if its a bad thing I do not know. But this field is very very cheap 4 dollars for a fee, 10 dollar all day air, 65/premium. The people are some of the best around, Farmland is known for its community work and their kindness. The woods field is nothing special but its alot of fun when you got a bunch of people, Farmland has been a rec ball field since its creation and will prolly stay that way. Overall a good field, but not the greatest if your a tourney player, they need a sup'air field =)

Review: This is the cheapest field ive ever been to. All they're prices are good. The woodsball is superior, but the speed ball sucked. If all u like is woodsball then go here, but if you like speedball this place sucks for you. The staff is friendly. the refs are ok. overall i liked this place.

I have played at SYO in Blaine, MN and Farmland.
Review: My brother and I have been playing at Farmland for close to 4 years now. Mid into the 2nd year we formed a speedball team which is on a roll going into our 2nd yr of tourney play. If it wasn't for Farmland's great fields our team would of probably never of been formed. They have a woods field and a speedball field. The woods field is great for rec players. They got this really kewl Alamo set up in the back corner of one side of the field where sometime there are like 7 people set in there and they take on the other 30 people etc. They play a variety of games like capture the flag, 4-way elimination, and even scenario games. Overall their woods field kicks ass.
Their speedball court is what I like the best. I've played soooo many games on their courts. They kick ass. We occasionally arrange the fields every now and then. There are plenty of bunkers to use and plenty of bunkering goin on too. ;) Farmladn has held a few tournies on the courts and it went awesome. Overall the speedball courts I think are the best.

Review: This is my favorite field to play at. most of my friends play here and i still meet new people. it is not very expensive and thats always good. the woodsball field is pretty big but you get to know it very fast. speedball field is good. the only thing i dont like about it is that i live so far away(not to far though) and it takes a while to drive there. oh yea, during the summer the misquetos are out so bring LOTS of spray.

Review: This is the only field in the minnesota area where i will play. The field is alot of fun, and fairly well maintained, but does lack much terrain variety (what you get for playing in well, a wooded farm field). But what it lacks in variety, it makes up for in value and enjoyability. This field is made by the people who play there and run it. Prices are extremely reasonable ($60 for a case of marbs, at the field? that's next to unheard of), and if you want you can bring your own paint, but i generally buy it there to support the field. Furthermore, the people who play there are alot of fun: it's mostly intermediate to experienced players, but just about everyone is out for a good time, with only a couple jerks (the kids who take it way too seriously, and enjoy inflicting pain more than playing; every field's got one or two). The only issue i've had is sometimes some of the field paint is a little old; it's not a big problem (less than 20 a bag), but sometimes a few of the balls are off-round or dimpled. All in all, one of the best values in paintball, anywhere.
