Review: Re: Sinister Sports Paintball

On Nov 18th I arrived @ the Citrus Heights store to rent some paintball equipment for my sons 16th birthday. I had come in on the Wed before to make these arrangements so I could come in after work and not hassle with the possibility of there not being any packages left to rent. My son arrived shortly before I did & was told that we could not rent any equipment because there weren't any waiver forms available. When i asked Bryce what we could do to rent I was told nothing was possible. I even tried to get him to contact one of the other stores to possibly have a waiver form faxed so copies could be made. He refused to try and help us with any solution so we could have a first time paintball experience that would be memorable. Bryce just refused to attempt to find any solution to the situation that had been created by the total lack of customer service and preparation by the employees @ the store. As I work in customer service daily I find this attitude by an employee totally unacceptable. I told Bryce that for a business just getting started this was not a good way to get going. His reply was "we've already gotten started and don’t need people like you here so get out." My son had already filled 2 co2 containers and after being treated the way we had I refused to pay for them. Bryce replied that I had to either pay for them or he was going to empty them. I agreed to have them emptied and after he emptied both tanks he again told me to get out of his store and to not come back. I assure you that I won't ever return to this store as long as Bryce is employed there, someone who should not be serving the public in any capacity whatsoever. I then proceeded to place a call to their elk grove store and inquire about a district manager or someone I could speak with regarding this unfortunate encounter. I was given a name and was told that I would receive a return call regarding this incident. It has been over 1 week and still no call. Since we had alot of fun playing anyway regardless of having to rent our equipment elsewhere we plan on spending a considerable amount of money to continue playing paintball. I assure that due to Bryce and the lack of a return call from someone regarding this matter that I will be spending my money elsewhere and will tell everyone I can at all paintball fields we go to not to shop at any of their establishments or online. I also plan on posting this on any & all paintball websites to let others know about this company's apparent lack of interest regarding customer service.

Review: This field was an pretty good field, it was very close to my house and was located in the Roseville fairgrounds.
The owners were very nice, the refs were strict on rules, but they weren't mean about it.
I don't remember the prices since its been a few years since ive played there.
They had a good selection of paint, bathroom facilities (not porto-potties).
The people who played there were very nice and the field had an no cussing rule and no bad sportsmanship rule which was good because they wanted the field to be a family oriented facility, i enjoyed this alot, it made the day alot more fun.
The field itself was an airball field that had a good layout and had lots of good lanes.

I really wish that this field hadn't closed, its sad, the reason that they closed, from what i heard, a kid dove into a bunker and caught his knee on the bunker steak and ripped his knee open. I'll miss this field.
