I went there on march 16 for the discount day with 2 friends and all i have to say is wow. The owner was cool and talked to us for a bit. All of the players were nice to us and we all enjoyed our selfless and will be going back. It was a well layed out field. The teams were a bit unfair on some games but that happens everywhere. |

ok, well we had high expectations. mistake number 1. me and dylan show up there and we get to the field. bad field. very very tiny. the atmosphere was horrible too. 80 percent of the kids who played there, yes i said kids, were the type where their mommys and daddys buy them these thousand dollar guns. which they think makes them amazing at paintball. but to those who played fair and were friendly i thank you. but to those people who cant play but think they can and get pissed when u light em up u need to go home and put your stuff up. waste of money and time. The staff needs to crack down on the players there. |

I have played at the Paintball Barn in Attica, Paintball Heat in Plymouth, and Sycamore Sports in Kokomo. All are actual paintball fields, but after going to crossfire I would rather go to anything other than it. |

I went with a friend, and we thought it was horrible, deffinitely not worht the 80 miles that we drive just to play there. They were having no breaks between games, which then lead to no reballs to refill pods or hoppers before the start of the next game. I was having to pick them up off the ground just so I had something in the my hopper at the start of the next game. No breaks also means no air, and they require you to leave all reballs on the field, so you either have to (a) empty your hopper, (b) take the tank off your gun, or (c) take your hopepr off which was not an option for me because the clamp on my feed neck takes an alen-wrench. The reballs were not taking care of, and were not oiled like they are supposed to be, which lead to jamming. I saw guys with halo V35's, and Empire B2, and even a pulse jam up during the game. I had to go eyes off pretty much the night just so i could shoot, which wasn't much, because from the jamming, I was only able to like 1 ball for every 5 trigger pulls. The guys that were supposed to ref ended up playing the games, which meant no reffing, and the "Honesty System" doesn't mean much when people don't honestly go out when they get hit. I hit some guys 5 times, and then a mintue later would get shot by the guy that I had shot. If you are looking for something cheap with no mess, gor for crossfire. As for me, I doubt I will ever play reball again. it was my first time playing reball, and deffinitely my last. I will take the mess and the hours of cleaning, and spend a little extra money then go back to crossfire. |

All around this was a really great place to train. Even if u have a new gun this is a good way to use it without paint getting all over it. There is a time for Begginers and Advance paintball/reball players. Each groupe gets 3 rounds to play befor each break. There were free air refills(nitros) that isn't far away from the enterance to the feild. They also have a shop by the air witch is kind of cool. Usually have great deals on guns like Bob Long Intimidators. Another great part of cross fire is the ammout of rounds you can get in. Well it is a great place everything needs to have some downfalls. The first thing i noticed is when advance players get out they fill all their pods(last time i went ea had a 5 pod+) and their 200+ rnd hoppers. So that left begginers running all over the floor for reballs. Another thing i noticed is when your out u have to sit on the side where the snake is so you get shot a extra 20 times while your out. All around tho this place is great well worth the little $30 enterance fee(everthing els air reballs even the owner helps u if u have problems its all free). Cross Fire receives a 8 out of 10 |

I first went to this field a year ago and they did not have much bunkers, but nowadays their field is quite nice. From my point of view, it is a relatively small field, but the strategic location of the bunkers make up for that. It is a reball place that claims its all you can shoot. This used to seem true but recently they have been showing a lack in reballs. You will be fine the first few games but after about 30 minutes you are forced to pick the reballs off the ground and this is were it gets ugly. Most of the time you can hardly get a full hopper of reballs before the reff calls the game and you have to one ball it the rest of the game even though you may own a marker that can shoot 20+. This can be understandable because reballs are very expensive and im sure alot of people steal them from time to time. All i have to say is that if the owner has the money it would be a great investment to buy more reballs. The air service is always pretty good, never filling too much above 3000 but that's all you need. The fill station is like 20 feet from the entrance of the field. The players that go to crossfire also very greatly. You will see alot of first timers to very experienced team players. The only thing that i don't like about this field is the shortage of reballs. If they changed this it would be heaven. So overall this field is great but i have not been getting my dollars worth lately. p.s. -- One more thing, i thought was kind of interesting. Whenever i find myself picking up balls off the floor i notice that the really experienced guys have 3-5 pods on their backs. (Where they get them from i have not the foggiest clue.) 8 out of 10 |

I rate this field below average (4) for the simple fact that it is NOT a paintball field. It is a REBALL field. Reballs are great for Rec play and just screwing arround but if you are serious about your game this is NOT the place to play. I want to make this clear that this is no reflection on the staff or safty precedures. Crossfire has cleaned up their act on both those fronts. Any players removing their mask on the field were immediatly repromanded and made sure their mask was placed back on their face promptly. Any players exiting the field with out barrel bags on their markers again were repremanded and the barrel bag immediatly placed on their marker. Anyone shooting hot was given a penalty of sitting two games, my gun went hot one game cause of a reg issue, I had to sit two games, I think this is a completely fair policy and enforcing it will only continue to ensure the safty of their players. If this is your first time playing this is a good place to start as they split up beginner and advanced players. If you just want to get out and have some fun this is a good place to be.
However if you are serious about your game and want to get in a good practice or get better at paintball this IS NOT the place for you. Many players cheat just for the simple fact that there is no way to tell if a reball hit your or not. Also the field chrono limit is 240fps this is again for safty reasons which I totaly agree with. Unfortunatly that means that if you practice with reballs when you move onto a paintball field you will have to change the way you play because all of you balls will have a completely different trajectory due to the velocity differance. Also many markers just don't work correctly with reballs, if you have a marker based off a spool valve design you will have issues either loading the balls or from dust and debri from the reballs entering your marker. This will cause you to have to at the least relube your marker and possibly replace all the o-rings. I suggest using any ram driven marker (Timmy, Impulse, EGO, Bushmaster) or blow back marker (Spyder, tippman).
Again the staff is good and safty measures have been improved. If your a rec player that just wants to shoot go for it. If you need to practice this is not the place Reball is not an accurate enough simulation of real paintball do to cheating and the lower velocity. No ammount of refs will stop cheating at reball.

This is by far my favorite place to play it. First off, it's about 5 mins from my house. Big help. It's also very cheap to play. 25 bucks for three hrs and 40 for 6 (since they have the new hrs for the summer). They also put on tournament quite regulary now, and are even getting outdoor, actual paintball fields! The staff is great and the compition is even better. There is equally skilled players for whatever level you compete at, and there are lots of them. The field is small but very nice, and they just got a new filed(bunker wise) so they now have 3 ( if they still have the extreme rage one... haven't seen it in a while). I bring my team and practice here almost every weekend. I think I'll call this my home for a long time to come. |

From IL 394 take Exchange East and follow into In. Follow till you hit a stop sign, you will see a Gas City and Always Open (Mobile Station) keep going straight untill you see a green and white pole barn the sign will say "Indoor Soccer Field" turn left and enter through the double doors, hang a right and enter the next arena. If you hit a church or Auto parts store you went to far. |

This place is great. Its cheap and easy to get to. The staging area is kinda small just the place is still new. The staff is really cool and helpful. They always have beginner and advanced games. They have food and Gatorade. 3 hours of play may not seem like much but you get a heck of alot of games in there. Most people think it paintless paintball is stupid but, hey look at it this way...you pay 20$ for admisson, 60$ for paint, get covered in paint, mud, and who knows what else, you need to change clothes before you even THINK of gettin into your car...when you get home you have to hose down your gear before you throw it into the washing machine. Sounds like a hell of alot of work. Reball, you come out clean and maybe a little sweaty. Just throw your gear back in your bag and its ready for a another day. The choice is yours. See ya on the field! |

Let me start off by saying that the idea of not paying 50 bucks for a case of paint a day is great. Thats the main reason i go. The field there has nice bunkers but is a little small for the amount of ppl that come there. The gun tech there is a nice feature to have. Wen i first heard that it was only 2 hours long i thought it was a rip off, but i was wrong cuz u get alot of games in those two hours. The refs r good and one of them was nice enough to let me use his own gun for free. U should definatley try this place out. |

This place is great. I thought 2 hours wouldn't be enough for me to have a great time but itsmore then enough when you play game after game. Their are very good players for those who like compitions and there are some new players for those who never paintballed before(Don't worry). They have a good gun tech onsite fo all your gun needs, and some stuff you can buy like Halos, Guns....
*You can trade helping them set up before the game for free field time*
Reballs hurt less then paintballs |
