Smaller, but still excellent. Better when it gets colder, or if you want to play at night. Good for people with tight schedules.
Directions to the Field:
Old bridge off Texas Rd. Your close when you pass the gigantic house that looks like it doesn't belong in the area.
This was my second time coming here, since I don't believe in judging a place by the first time. First time was great regardless, but this time was even better. Bought a Etek 3 here and Ben there gave me 2 free entrees which was awesome. They stress safety which is amazing, and the refs are really good on the field. If we don't balance the teams they will do it themselves. Even had a ref jump on a few games to make it fair, and also handicapped the team that had the 2 good players. I love the field, its a good size and they keep it pretty clean. Sure there's little paintball mountains around the tape, but obviously that's going to happen, complaining about that would be irrelevant. Had a great day and definitely will be back.
Paintball Authority deserves your respect, they work extremely hard to make sure you get the best paintball experience around in a sport that can easily be very intimidating to new people. This sport cannot grow without new people, and PBA does great at accommodating them whenever possible to make sure they leave happy, tell their friends, and come back with more. I recommend PBA to anyone new or experienced in the sport of paintball, they do not disappoint.
First off they very safed minded, the refs are always telling you to take on/off your mask and barrel cover. The staff there is very helpful and nice. The price of the paint is fair and so is the admission. The field is a speed ball field and is pretty nice and (like the other review) they haven't cleaned it in a while and is covered in paint. The down side is that they have only one field, but they told my buddies and me that they were going to buy some more land and make a woods ball field, which I hope they do because it is good place to go do some speedball and hopefully woodsball.
I went there with my friends, and we played several games with other players around our beginner level. The refs and people that worked there always put us, the players, first. They are strict on safety and make sure that everyone has a barrel cover before they get onto the field and a mask when they do get on the field. I'd definately come back to this field. The field itself is pretty good. But, it seems like they don't clean their turf that often because paintballs of all sorts were layin around, and the paint is covering the turf and makes it sticky and slimy. Other than that, the field is amazing and i suggest many people to go play there.
I played there once but i watched so many games there. I really enjoyed playing there. I had like 10 gun problems that day the fixed the all. I really liked the refs and the guys who worked there they were really cool. i got in a lot of games. The turf is amazing and its the best field ive been to. Fireball mountain is fun if u just want to mess around. but PBA is more of intermediate level. The refs make the teams fair every game and i want to go back soon. Just cause it intermediate doesn't mean you cant come its from tippmans to egos there. They have a amazing pro shop. The prices are very nice paint from $38-60. Admission $25 so its very good prices. Also the field is constantly rearranged so its good for teams to practice.
Fireball Mountain(horrible, if u stand in the parking lot u get hit with paint...)
PBA is and great field. They have one field but there's always a game going so you really never miss a game. The people there are friendly. They have a good proshop with everything. They fix your gun sometimes they wont even charge for it and if they dude its really cheap. Staff is freindly. Good Prices. 38 to 50 bucks for the paint and 25 to get in. Yeah.... its a great field. I think every week they change the field around... They also added turf to the field making it 10 times better. The reffs there give you some pointers and will never make teams unfair.

I love Pba, its a great place, i always go there because everyone knows what there doing, I come there a lot and went to the summer camp this year, it was awsome, along with all the staff there, whenever there is a problem with the gun, they can fix it, they also give u playing tips cause most of em have been playing for a long time, they also dont overcharge on paint and admission, free air for everyone, drinks-1 buck each, pizza place near by, great pizza, but cheese falls off it..... They have a great proshop, if u need it, they got it, if there is a problem with ur gun they fix it, i would know this because many of em have become real farmiliar with my red shocker.........(never works) and they all know what to do, again, all of the staff are amazing, the proshop is awsome, the field is great(its speedball thats why they only have one field, but heard they are expanding, wink wink) Go to Pba if u can, if not, ur missing a lot of fun
Ejam indoor - okay feild but very dirty
fireball mountain-its ok
bb grandslam-small, very expensive
Great Place to place to play, employees are all cool and friendly.
Rules are very strict in a good way. you have to write a full page essay if you go on the feild w/o your mask.
GO TO THIS FIELD!!!!!
best speedball place around.
other player can get very cocky ad annoying
the only thing i didnt like is the ground there its like dirt and chunks of grass. if they had turf or artificial turf is would be awesome!!!!
Ive played in a few crappy woods fields, nothing major just good times. This was my first time at an actual speedball feild and I just loved it!
This was my first speedball feild ever and although theres only one feild there it was great. They change the feild every week and its fairly nice.its a pretty good price and the refs are great as are all the staff.I even got a free t-shirt!They give free refills for n2 when u play, at least for rentals thats true.I dont know that about your own tanks but i think they do also. The feild was nice, the only problem i had was the ground. When i slide to dodge the rapid fire of a dm6 my pants ripped and I cut my knee.Nothing too bad though. Also you get to set up your own teams so I mostly played with freinds.Overall i had a great time!

Period of Field Use:

Other Fields in the Area:
Fireball Mountain. Only 500 feet away from this field. They have FOUR fields to play, all woods. Much fun there.
IMPORTANT: they only have one field, not woods, not lawn, just solid ground with some plastic bubbles. The field is really disappointing, very small, only around the size of a basketball court. If you have a group and want to have a one day playing, DO NOT go there. You can easily get bored.
Their website does not show you any photo of their field. Maybe they also feel that their field is too bad to be shown in photoes in their own website.

Haven't played at other fields in the area I was on vacation.
Directions to the Field:
I used mapquest and found it fine.
Well I only played at this field once and i was very impressed and glad I chose to play at PBA. I was on vacation in NJ and I don't know about you, but I can't go a week without shooting at people. The field is very safe if you don't put your barrel sock on before you exit the field you have to write an essay. This goes for lifting your mask or taking it off, they are very strict in keeping the field safe. They only have one field for the public, but its a good field flat with good bunkers and they change up the set-up of the field often to keep it fun. I think on Sunday they were open from 8-6, but don't quote me on that. The proshop at the field had the best selection I've ever seen from a shop. They had plenty of stuff to buy and good selection. The refs were good by keeping it safe, they could of done more paint checks, but no big deal. They players that were there made it fun and they teams were balanced almost every game and if they weren't it wasn't a big deal all the games were still fun regardless. I think they ordered food and you had to place an order in the shop to get it, but I didn't that day. And last, but not least prices.. the field fee was priced fair enough. They had a wide variety of paint options ranging from heat to premium I think it was. The heat was what I shot because I'm cheap and at $38 a case it shot awesome and I had no problems not one barrel break that day. The field also had a good selection of rental guns/equipment.
