in my opinion, xtremez was ok. i've only been playing for about a year and only gone to Danger Zone by Seattle. The staff was nice, and really helpful, but the field was DIIRRRTTTYY! I guess thats expected though, plus a bunker was totally deflated. The guns should be changed too, tipman 98s for speed ball? Try spyder or something, 98s are better for woodsball. As for the shop next door, sweet. Guns were fairly priced, and accsesories were well priced too. The selection is Huge! All in all the place is ok

Portland Paintball, not quite as good. Warpaint, best indoor field but such a drive to get there. |

Went awhile back. I've been back a few times to shop. The store is decent. Prices aren't always the best but not unreasonable. Selection is great. The field was about as good as indoor can get as far as light, cleanliness (it was still a filthy mess but not like portland paintball. it's paintball afterall), bunkers. The staff wasn't the greatest but that might of been a bad day for them. but we had two or three guys watching television in the prep room while only one of them actually went out and reffed the game. Paint is good. I wish they sold it in 100 or 200 round bags to accomodate the pump/pistol players out there. I'd recommend it over Portland Paintball but honestly you need to try each place for yourself to really decide. And I would recommend Warpaint over both of these places. |

Not one of my more enjoyable moments playing. Staff is unhelpful and seem upset for the most part. Dont really know much either. Prices are decent. Only high end players so you get shot up a lot. Field is small. Bunkers look like they are out of a cereal box. i thought the turf would be nice but it is really slippery. Just a real disappointment. wont be back. |

Extremes is the best paint ball field for miles. They have a freidly staff they are great with beginers. Paintballs are NON toxi wich are great for beginers and guns are not set to top speed. Paintballs do heart but can be prevented with rental chest protecto for 5$ extra. Administration is 15$ andif you are renting guns it is 25$ and it includes administration and guns. You have to by paintballs but not to expensive. You MUST by paintballs there, you CANT bring your own
=500 paintballs= 15$
=2000 paintballs=50$
It is cheaper to by it by a box of 2000 than bying them sperate. They have a nice bath room, nice wating room and nice equpment. I recomend being over TEN YEARS OLD be for you go just in case paintballs leav bruises. Wear sweat pants and a sweat shirt and crumy shoes. Paintballs do not stain but some times leave marks. |

Worst Time of of my life! Employees were rude and unhelpful. Shop is WAY overpriced and they have no idea what they are talking about. Couldn't even answer a few simple questions. Field is TINY....its only 50ft wide!!!!! there is hardly anyone playing, not that you can play with more than 5 people on a side because its so small. Refs were just talking to there friends and not watching the game. And when there friends play they dont come out. Never going back! I would recommend the same. |

There arn't many paintball fields where I live and this one is only a ten minute drive from my house so I don't have very many options where to go. The Proshop has a fair selection of markers and a wide selection of masks, jerseys and much more. The field rearranges the bunkers frequently so it is a different experience every time you go. The field is a bit narrow compared to its length. Sometimes a few of the bunkers are slightly deflated but no big deal. The vending machines are always stocked and the restrooms are very clean besides the extremely slick floors, but thats unavoidable. The staff there seem like they have no personality and somtimes can be kinda rude at times. But by far the most annoying thing is this group of players in blue jerseys that come here every weekend and ramp. The rentals are Tippmann Model 98's and funtion properly. Besides some of its minor flaws this is a decent paintball field but I would go to Royal Ridges before this. |

I personally hated this field for numerous reasons. One being that the staff here are aholes! Paint is generally old and brittle, on top of the very high prices. The refs have no idea what they are doing and are terrified of getting shot. The result? Really bad ref calls.Plus most refs already favor a team that you will be playing and they will be expecting them to WIN. Whatever you do, do not play here.Go to portland paintballinstead.| Last edited on Tuesday, February 12th, 2008 at 1:42 am PST |

Okay, I was in Portland on business and was checking out fields around the area to go play yesterday and came across Xtreme and figured what the heck. Here's how the field brakes down:
Store: The store look well stocked, a little short on gun accessories, specifically timmy triggers, but they had a wide selection of apparel, goggles, lenses, packs and what not. Prices seemed pretty reasonable, $20 for replacement Profiler lens and $5 for Pod swab, didn't have any straight shot squeegees though.
Field: There is only one field, it's around the corner from the store, look for the wooden deck and head inside. The field is kinda long, 180', by maybe 20' wide, for the chrono speed, 170 fps but hey, you just gotta move up. It looks like they can pull a net across the center of the field and make it two fields.
Facilities: The staging area does have both tables and chairs, though don't think it could handle more than 20 maybe 25 people. There are 2 vending machines, one for drinks and one for snacks. I didn't buy anything from the machines, but they seemed pretty well stocked. There were 2 bathrooms, one for the ladies, and they were clean and well kept.
Oh, the field is FPO and they only carry one type, Core Premium.
Staff: The refs were pretty good, they did paint checks and broke up the teams pretty evenly. The guys at the store and they guys behind the counter were friendly and helpful. I did get a orientation speech, the usual goggles on when on the field and barrel sock on in staging area. It was a very lite day so there were no safety problems.
Overall: Overall this field is pretty nice. There was plenty of lighting, a complaint of some in the past. the field layout was decent, a bit sparce in the back but like I said earlier, the field was very long. If you have a group it would be a great place to come. When I went there there was only about 10 people to come, but that was odd. I was told the field had played host to as many as 50 people in one day, but that with the warm weather and nice temperatures people were probably out camping or just enjoying being outside.
I'm giving this field an 8 due the the long field, lack of people and small staging area. Mind you an 8 is very good, I believe only a perfect field should get a 10 and I haven't seen one yet.

It's a big 3 day weekend and we were down in Lincoln City, OR. Before going down, all the guy wanted to spend at least one day paintballing somewhere. With all the reviews from southern WA and Portand area - we chose Xtremez Indoor.
On the way down to OR, I had to stop in and check it out...
Shop - lots of room and nice selection in the retail area.
Field Condition - Bunkers were full of air all day long. Ground had good grip and slick enough to slide nicely.
Reffing - Nice guys. People who gripe about uneven teams - learn to play better. Playing against tough folks makes you stronger. Refs checked paint where needed and asked - and let grumbling and whining where it belonged... on ignored. In my opinion, the right needs were met.
Field Shop - I saw these guys fixing kids guns all day long at no charge. Yeah, some might seem a little tired, but if you had to put up with kids all day long... you might be a bit grumpy.
Bathrooms - We got there at opening and we were there for 6 hours. They were clean at the beginning of our day and at the end. Thanks guys!
Prep area - tables AND chairs!
Vending Machines - a nice selection of stuff to nurse my hangover!
Paint - Field paint only. They use Core. Not my first choice, but the stuff doesn't stain and I didn't have breakage in 6 hours. Between 3 of us, we used up 5 cases and I only know of one barrel break. So no complaints from me.
All in all - we had a really good time and met a bunch of cool folks. |

Players- The players there are mostly good, theres this one group (I heard this from the pro shop guy) that comes in everyweek and are the most annoying people I have met. They are also the ones ramping.
Field- The field here is great. The ground gets good grip with or without cleats and you can still slide. The bunkers change every week if not day. There are 3 exits for the field, but the only visible one is in the back.
Refs- They switch refs so this isn't always the case. During a game, where I was sadly the last one out there, the people watching were shouting where I was. I was hoping the ref would say something, but he just stood there. I might be wrong but I think I saw a rule there about NOT doing that.
Proshop- The guys here are awesome. One guy showed me how to maintain my new gun and they have a cool personalities. It would be cool if they were refs too.
Food- They have vending machines and a Taco truck in the parking lot. Good food there.
Prices- decent for entry and rental, but they only sell 500 or 2000, no 1000 or 1500.
Safety/Conduct- Field safety is decent. The conduct they allow outside is horrible. There were two kids under 15, and the group mentioned above kept swearing. One threatened the kid. The refs didn't seem to care. They didn't really enforce conduct rules, only safety
My second time there half the people were ramping. They told them to turn it off, but right after they got back on the field they were back on it and the ref didn't seem to care. My only problem with this field is the staff manning the field, and some of the regulars. Other than that its cool. |
