I am a scenario player, and I like playing in mainly wooded area. Firemark brings both the speed ball tactics and the wood ball tactics together on the same field. the is five fields, one is a speed ball field and one is in the woods. the other three are a mix with some bunkers and trees. The lay of the field is a down hill lay but that works out good because each team has to be on both sides. There is no netting between each field but that is a good thing as well, because if you want to have a larger group they will open multiple fields to play on for each game. The staff is very nice and friendly. Safety is a big thing on this field but because of all the new players getting into game and trying to play they need to be. They didn't have any food but they do have drinks. They also have staff taking pictures of your group if you want, the is a small cost for that but everything now a days cost something. Over all a really good field to play on. |

well the field was ok if it was not under water but that could not be helped the owner Dan is a good guy but his gf/wife Star is a WHICH i swear that she needs to get laid more often then she does the safety issue there there are only a few nets and paint travels from one field to the other not cool when get shout in the back from the other field. he can fill co2 and n2 but only to 3000 well thats all he filled my 4.5k tank to there is not pro shop only 2 or 3 refs i had to crap in the woods and there was not food not even water or pop
i would tell u go drive the extra distance and to go to Sudden Impact now that is one amazing place to play |

Firemark is a clean and friendly family enviroment it is nice because they don't allow swearing or cheeting or anger they tell you this from the begining. Safety is #1 out there and it thats a huge plus for me and my friends. They have 5 fields 1 all woods and 1 airball and 3 mixed fields they are good size so you can play with medium size groups with no problem. Prices are good and refs are really good and they will talk to you and help you out if you have a problem they really make sure to take care of you. I would give it a 5 out of 5 all around. Oh ya they fill co2 and nitro so no matter what you have for air they will help you out. |

This is the first field I played here since moving to Il. he has 5 fields. 4 wooded and one airball field. Games are rotated so the play doesnt get boring. games are played as fast as you can get air and refill your pods and hoppers if you want to. I helped out w/reffing also.if there isnt enough reffs, The games might slow down a bit. on a busy day I would like to thank everyone for a great a time. The safety is no 1. The safety meeting before game play is very good. The first timers should have no problems with their markers. Crono is below 300fps. The staff goes out of their way to make sure you are having a good time. He as co2 and has nitrogen fills. Prices are good. The last game was played at dusk. You'll have a great time there. Fire Mark is an outstanding field. I read that a lot of player were not thrilled with the roughness of the course, but think it really adds to the experience you will have at Fire Mark. The walk to the field is a bit long , but it gives you a reason to slow down and take a minute to rest before you start to play. If you go with friends it gives you a chance to figure out your tactics. The fields are large wich allows you to have many players on the field and not run over each other. The large number of spools, pallets, and other obsticles really gives you good cover weather on offence or defence. The staff at fire mark really work hard to ensure you have a great time. Dan and Star will actually talk with you and listen to what you have to say. All in all I could not have asked for a better experience after visiting Fire Mark. |

Firemark paintball overall is a pretty good field the refs were really nice and saw every thing so there was no cheating. Its pretty cheap compared to some places i have played. have 3 nice wood fields. All the equipment works really good. If you dont have enough people the will usually call some one up and they will come play with you. Overall its a really good field |

Overall great field if you want to try something new. You have to call ahead to get a playing time, since the owner is not always out there. Would not reccommend to tournament players.
Parking - You have to park about quarter mile away from the fields. This means you have to carry your bags/equipment all this way. It s**ks.
Staff/Refs - All very nice people and very helpfull. They will help you get in as many games as possible.
Prices - they arent bad / moderate compared to other places. Sudden Impact is cheaper.
Fields - They have 3 or so speedball/wood fields. These are big fields made up of trees and spools and such. They arent great fields, but they arent horrible for open play. They do not have an air ball field.
Conclusion - If you want to try somewhere new, this would be a great place to go.
Caution - bring people with you, since there are not a lot of people daily at this field. Fields are rough, lots of roots and such just sticking out of the ground. For a begginer player this would be a great field to try out and go and have a fun time.

Print out a the map from the website. If you're coming from out of town you'll need it. It is out in the boonies, but it's still just a few minutes from the interstate. |

Staff & owner are extremely helpful & friendly - they provided us excellent service.
The refs especially did a great job working with us, as there were first time players and some obviously experienced players with all of their own equipment.
Our group rented our equipment - everything worked perfectly and was in great shape.
\We were nervous about not having much experience, but everyone was great, including the other players with the gear who were pummelling us the entire morning. I was immediately hooked and ready to play again.
Thanks to Daniel & his staff for hooking us up. |
