The Good:
Always changing the field.
The bunkers are all good.
Cool people work there.
The Bad:
Sand
Immature people (talk on the phone instead of giving your service)
All Around dirtiness
No chrono
Prices are OUTRAGEOUS: 125 dollars for an Egg (65 American... doesn't even out)
Overall, it's an alright place to go... it's the only indoor field around... I dunno where Zones is if it's even around anymore. They need a level field with turf... |

Heading to the Zone some time soon, played on other fields years ago so I know what to expect from an operator. |

Well getting back into paintball after all these years, me and my buds headed down to Bunkers for our first game. We had a good time all in all, prices were decent, and its nice and cool inside. I really wasn't impressed with the fields quality though, all sand (some mud) and paint shells EVERYWHERE in every foot step.
The air bunkers were sorta knocked about and the sand field was dirty, didn't want to dive or kneel in any of that. The rentals were Spyder Victors that were in varying condition (on friend had an excellent maintained gun, while another had one that always double fed balls).
The wasn't a ref (which we didn't mind as we played against each other, but would be nice to have) or (important) a chronograph which was broken (big problem since I had no idea what my FPS was at).
Altogether we had fun but there is alot to improve at Bunkers. |

The field is pretty good. I really like the New air bunkers those are a lot nicer then the other ones. the field is always changed around so that is a good thing and a bad thing. it is a little small. but that doesnt matter to much. the owner is like always late. the bathrooms suck but other then that it is a great field and i would definitely recommend it for any in the u.p. or in canada. the paint is really bad though so thats really the big downfall of bunkers but i still like to play there it is a nice place the lighting isnt the greatest but be sure to check it out. |

Bunkers has some good and bad. Sense I rented equipment there, the sand feild wasn't all bad. But if you are an owner, I reccomend playing somewhere else for the safety of your gun - and easy cleaning - . I went there about 2 months ago, but Paint was just about normal for me $7 for 100. The Shop there is stocked with some pretty good markers I suppose, I saw a few angels. Another Bad thing about the feild, is that there is no ref ( Or Chronograph for those who care ) . The probelm about the Reffing situation is Very unfair teams, and well, poor orginization. It isn't exactly what you call a big Arena, but it is better set up than Zone in my opinion. Some of the players are good, which givesn a good challenge though. Also, the lighting is just Dim enough that you can sneak around, and also identify who you are shotting in the process. So If yoiu manage to go with good players or friends, and just rent guns so you can beat them to hell, I say this would be a good party, but if you are a serious player looking for skill other than f..ing around, then I suggest somewhere else. |

Yes well Abbie is an awsome field owner he really turned the place around from b4 he owned it. Bunkers has great prices yet the younger staff is a little immature but its berable. It really isn't a big deal that their isnt running water i delt with it for awhile and so do alot of people. Its overall a good field and better than zones. |

As far as i am concerned Bunkers is an O.K field. The people in the shop were very helpful and the prices were good. Some thing i didnt like were 1) There was very little lighting and it was hard to see 2) The staging area was very messy and they didnt require barrel plugs 3)The didnt have a chronograph 4) The bathrooms were disgusting 5) The field was a bit small Despite these thing i still had a good time |

Well I am not going to be one of those Zone smashong newbs on this thread I'll give a complete un-biased review on bunkers.
Well the first time(s) I went to play here i and my friends were only "bashed" as newbs. The only person(s) who would actually talk with us was Rueben and Abbey (I didnt know Jeff or julian or Billy at the time)But Reuben has prety much disapeared.
Now lets fast forward to the present field conditions.....sand (not my style messes up your gat, if you play aggresively) the field layout looks as if it was thrownn together with no planning or structure (sorry Abb's but its true), small staging area (so does Zone), And lets just say that the teenage kids that refer to themselvs as "bunkersboys'' are; not meaning to be rude to bunkers but the most rudeignorant cockey little buggers without a clue of paintball. I mean i know alot about paintball and I'm not trying to be ignorant but anyways.
But I think if you talk with Abbey he is a very good salesman he's polite and knows his stuff. Abbeys friends Julian (peace out to the cockerman himself p.s. thanks for fixing my black magic)Jeff, and Billy are also good guys with some pball talent. I just wish that all the bunkers versus zone stuff, and zones on welfare CRAP would just STOP, no one cares anymore.
I havent played there for about 2 years now, but they got some good competition down there (jeff, billy, abb's the rest)So I am slowly thinking of trying there field out. Especially when the outdoor opens in summer!
Bunkers isnt getting full marks but i'm being very air and un-biased in my opinion, thank you, James |

WOW!!! This field is awesome. I love playing here. I dislike the bathroom & the sand, but they are both avoidable. You got to like the staff there, at least the more mature ones. The prices are un matchable either. This field deserves a 10 and should be visited again & again. |

Bunkers is cool. I seen it go through a lot of changes. All of them good. They really fixed the place up nice after the old owner. They have some really experience staff there, mostly Bill & Julien. They have rental Spyders & Piranhas, too. The bunkers are usually changed around every couple of months ,too, so you dont know what to expect. Pretty good prices on entry fee, paint, & air. The washrooms could use a little fixing though but that doesnt stop me from giving it a 10. I recomend this field to anyone who plays or who wants to play paintball!!! |

First of all, this shooting back and forth between fields is stupid, and its wrecking legitimate review scores. But I digress, on with the review... I have played at Bunkers twice, and all the people in our group share these opinions. The first time we played, we had a BLAST. The second time.... horrible.
The Good:
*Indoors, out of the weather
*Reasonable prices to play, after exchange rate.
*Good field setup, happy to see airball was removed.
*Skill level is relatively low, so newer players should have no problem getting adjusted.
*Candian accent always good for a laugh, eh? (gonna get beat down for that one, just kiddin guys, we love ya)
The Bad:
*Sand floor, the sand gets in EVERYTHING.
*Unclean, foul, nonfuctional bathroom with a hole in the floor for urination. This was as of Febuary of 03.
*Seconds as a field paint. Broke paint every game, in a freak set, couldnt find a sizer that would consistantly fit the paint.
*Generally dirty store and field area
*No referees, or even a chrono judge. Many a time did masks come off ON FIELD. If an insurance inspector ever comes around, this place is out of insurance.
*15 year old kids bumming smokes and paint ALL day. If I wanted to GIVE my paint out, I would have bought it for someone else in the first place.
*Lastly, and this is the worst, if you dont count the safety violations. Our second time to the field, we played with the most ignorant, wiping players I have ever had the dishonor to play with. This could EASILY be solved by a ref on the field, and I hope it is. You shouldnt have to shoot the same player on three different occasions, to just score an Elim.
All in all, a good place to play, if the group of 15 year old regulars isnt about.
For Bunkers being rich, and the Zone (which ive never played at) being welfare, its certainly not exhibited by the Bunkers players, or its establishment. Next stop, The Zone sports, see how they hold up.
