Dude, this field is great. Not just because they just sponsored a new tourney team called rampage that I saw and I thought they were pretty good. (www.rampagepaintball.net). The guy that owns the place Robby really knows what he is doing... The refs are great the food is great.. Everything is great... You should come up here and play sometime it is amazing. |

Nice people! Nice Fields! All around a nice place to go play! Prices are good, the shop has about anything you will ever need! The owner knows waht he is talking about very paintball inclined! The place has a hyperball field, a spool field, and a city field. They are in the works of a few more as we speak! |

Bear Claw, Hollow Buzzard.
Big Sky is a great field and i hope they catch up to Bear Claw.
Big Sky is approx. a year and 2 months old as Bear Claw is 8 years old....
obviously they're gonna have all the kinks worked out and building bigger. |

Big Sky is off to a great start and I fully support them. The fields were very nice and pretty equal. At first it seems the course has 'stronger' angles on one side, but it is very manuverable and not a problem in the least bit.
As previously stated, there are 2 courses.
The town has many buildings, 19 i think, a few of which are 2 story.
The speedball course is a great layout and even has a 'snake'! (look at their pictures on their website)
Prices for walk-on or rental are great.
I played all day with my spyder & HPA with no complaints. They have a Great staff who are constantly willing to make your experience and happiness meter full!
They have many, many, many variants in gameplay, i.e. assault, zombie, and other objective style games
I give it a 9 b/c of a problem with reffing. They were great and it wasn't a big issue (it could've been an off day) but i saw some inconsistency with announcing players eliminated. Maybe i've grown accustomed to this @ bear claw or they were just having a great time watching and making sure the huge church group (22 ppl) was safe? lol.
Whatever the reason it definitely did not hinder my desire to go back and I plan to play in their 1st tourny(3 man) they've having on May 19th. all the necessary info can be found @ http://www.bigskypaintball.biz/id1.html| Last edited on Wednesday, March 14th, 2007 at 7:47 am PST |

I play on a speedball team, the aces, and i'm a little partial to this field. the speedball field is great. it is well set up and plays really well. but the gem is the "town" they have set up out there. there are about 13 or 14 one story 8'x8' buildings and a central cross shaped one story building. there are also 4 two story buildings from which a sniper can see nicley across the field.
also the refs are great. they are quick to paint check and have outstanding attiudes. they constantly suggest new games to keep it fun. there are usually anywhere from 5-20 ppl out there on saturdays. i dont go on sundays so i dont know the turnout.
right now they are in the process of setting up a third field on the property. i will update when they get it done. |

This field opened less than 1 year ago. They have a speedball field which has just been redesigned and it plays very well. The most unique about this place is the town field that they built. It has something like 18 buildings, some are 2 stories. The angles and how games play out on this field are endless. They always try new and different games to keep things interesting. They also have a proshop that carries most of what you need to play. And if they don't have it in stock they will order it for you. Thier prices are very reasonable and they sell quality paint, everything from field grade to tournament grade paint. They mostly carry Draxxus brand paintballs.
If you are looking for a paintball field that has great staff, great facilities, and great playing fields then Big Sky is the place for you. Ten out of Ten. |

First impressions are everything and these guys did a stellar job! I just moved to the area and was looking for a home field. Until these guys came along, my choices were slim and far away (Bear Claw and MTP). The field was easy to find from the directions on their website. The first thing I noticed when I pulled up was the Registration Area/Pro Shop. Talk about well done! Lots of fields will set up a tent or sell paint out of a lean to or the back of a truck. These guys went all out setting up their Pro Shop. They have plenty of merchandise on display and their prices are pretty fair. Field fee and air are reasonable as well. They've got two fields, one speedball and one town. The town was really cool. This isn't your average plywood and pallet construction. These guys went all out and built at least a dozen buildings, four of them two stories! It's the kind of field that can handle 20 players as well as it can handle four. Lots of angles and sniping positions, plus a great mid field kill zone. The speed ball field was well thought out and good for about eight players. The guys running it though are what make the field really stand out. The airsmith is PTI certified on just about every entry level marker as well as the standards such as the A-5. Safety is a big focus. Lots of signs showing goggle areas and barrel blocker reminders as well as the ever popular Professor Squeegee safety training video for first time players .Their rentals packages are first rate. Basic rental package gets you a Custom 98, all day air and some paint. But for just a few bucks more, you can upgrade to an A-5 and hang with the big dogs. They've even got a few Delta 68 pistols for you crazy mil sim guys who like to get shot a lot. They've got CO2 and HPA and can fill up to about 4k. All day air is available for HPA as well. Overall, I had a great time playing and plan to make this my home field for as long as I'm in the area. | Last edited on Thursday, April 20th, 2006 at 4:04 am PST |
